I live downtown and I am rarely able to sleep through the night due to all the noise. My daughter suggested I try one of these machines. Wow wow wow! I slept like a baby all night. I’ve only had it for a week so I hope it lasts a long long time.

I really wanted this to work because I have a friend who swears by these. But it just wasn’t happening.
The white noise sound of the fan is great but unfortunately the motor also makes a distinctly audible hum sound at a noticeable frequency, which completely defeats the purpose of a white noise machine. I can’t really hear the hum if I’m on the opposite side of the room, but then the volume of the white noise is too low to be useful as a sleep aid. I’ve tried 3 different versions of the Yogasleep Dohm (classic, connect, and uno) and they all have the same kind of hum, no matter how I configure them.
If you don’t have acute hearing, or you don’t mind a hum, or you’re planning on having this 10+ feet away from you, it might work for you.

My newest sleep apnea machine seems to make more background noise than my former one. This little device is able to cover that sound well, and drowns out many other sounds that could wake my wife.
It’s a great buy if you simply want a constant white noise to help you remain asleep.
Despite the name, I do not do Yoga with this machine, unless downward man sleeping counts.

i lived in my best friends house for a summer while she was working out of state and she had this sound machine. my son and i got addicted. it is a real fan motor inside, so it is just infinitely better and more soothing than a thin recording. just the absolute best sound machine. so sturdy and aesthetically unobtrusive, just no notes. i’d buy a tiny version too

Very solidly built and device works well and has extremely consistent noise. Only complaint I have is the volume level doesn’t get as high as I would hope for especially being one of the higher priced noise machines. I have a $15 device that gets much louder. For the cost I would not buy again.

Just as good as my old one. Bought this as a replacement for my 10+ year old Original version in which the fan was starting to rattle. I hope to enjoy this new one for many more years! It perfectly drowns out background noises and helps me to sleep soundly. I even travel with it and it’s especially helpful in hotels!

I actually bought this to put just outside my bedroom door for some noise privacy in my bedroom, and it works perfectly for this. Close my bedroom door with this on, and anyone outside can NOT tell what is being said I side. At the same time we can barely hear it in our room.
Easy to use, turn on, and adjust the noise level.
