It’s a nice, comfortable, and very warm blanket. It’s like a big warm hug. It may be a bit much during Summer, and for hot sleepers, but during cold Winter nights especially, this will be great. Am very happy with it.

I slept under this weighted blanket for the first time last night and it was incredibly soothing and hugged me perfectly. I definitely would not call the size that I ordered a queen size though. I’m glad it didn’t end up being an actual queen size because I think Fair queen size version is big enough for me to be able to stretch out comfortably and still be hugged. I feel like I’ll get a workout in my sleep whenever I want to roll over or move the covers too, LOL. I did not notice any imperfections on this blanket when I opened it, but I also did not search it with a fine tooth comb. It is a 20 lb blanket so it’s kind of heavy for me to be flipping it around and looking to see if there’s anything wrong with it. But from what I did see it looks great. I have read that, when looking for a weighted blanket, you want to get one that’s weight is about 10% of your body weight. So 20 lb is a little heavier than what I needed, but I’m not sorry that I got the 20 lb one.
The picture that I included in this review is of the blanket fully stretched out on the top of my queen size bed. So you can see that this blanket does not cover the entire top like a regular queen size blanket or comforter would, yet, it is still a great size for an adult.

They’re not kidding when they say in the description that it doesn’t drape over the bed, but the photographs that accompany the blanket are VERY misleading. They must be showing pictures of the blanket that’s one size up from the bed size (i.e. the king size blanket on a queen bed), because the matching size looks nothing like that. You can see from my photo where my normal comforter (Queen) ends versus where this weighted blanket ends.
The weight is also not exactly as advertised. We ordered the 15# Queen. When I weighed the blanket on a scale (in the very lightweight bag it comes in), it weighed in at 17.5 lbs. The bag itself is so light, it didn’t even register on the scale by itself.
The glass beads themselves feel super small, almost like sand, so it’s comfortable. The problem is that some squares have no beads in there whatsoever, while others have a clump of beads in them.
The material is soft, and the stitching is pretty good. It washed and dried well
Overall, we are not happy with the width of the blanket and the inconsistent distribution of the beads. It’s very reasonably priced, but that does not make up for its deficiencies.

This blanket is super soft, I didn’t need it to fit over the whole bed, just at my husbands side because I run so hot at night and he’s always freezing with the thin quilt that I have on our bed so I got him this weighted blanket for extra warmth.
It seems very well-made and it’s very soft, he’s going to love this when winter hits.

I love the weight of this blanket. It produces great pressure. I ordered a queen size, but it only really covers one person so if you’d like a larger size consider that.
