I paired this 8″ mattress with my new bed, and it’s just right—not too soft, not too firm. Even when I sleep on my side, my shoulders don’t hurt. It bounces back quickly, and there’s no obvious dent when I get up. The only downside is that the edges aren’t very supportive, so I sink a bit when sitting on the edge. Still, considering the price and how comfortable it is, it’s a pretty good deal.
