I purchased this noise machine for two reasons. One being I needed a small compact light that I could use that was smart and would turn on whenever my motion sensor was triggered. Second reason I wanted to create background noise. The noise machine has a display that shows the time and it also includes the temperature. Don’t know how accurate the temperature reading is, but it’s a nice feature to include on a noise machine.
One thing I have noticed while using this noise machine, is that it does not play nicely with Home Assistant. It is recognized by the Tuya App easily enough, but when trying to use the different settings available in Home Assistant I run into problems. That is a minor problem that I will eventually figure out on my own. The light is pretty bright no matter what shade you choose. The speaker doesn’t seem to be that loud though, at least when using the included nature sounds. For its price point with all the features included, I think it’s a great deal.

I struggled a bit to figure out this machine, but managed to get it running. I try not to use my phone in my bedroom at night, so the app is not particularly useful to me. I may change my mind about that, as I have not been able to set up the clock function. For now I’m content to have a nightlight and some natural sounds/white noise to help me wind down from my day and drift off to sleep. A simple tap on the top of the light turns it on or off.
I like that this is rechargeable, which makes it easy to take on vacation or even to the backyard for a “campout.”

I gave this a good try and though I am particularly sensitive, I cannot get over the noticeable loop sound in the tracks. Now, I’m a tough critic because I’ve made my own 12 hour tracks just to avoid the loop sounds.
I give it 3 stars because it seems well made and may be useful to others.
