   I’ve now had this bed a few months and for the life of me cannot understand how the seller justifies a description of “Euro Pillow Top for added softness. This has a COMFORT PLUSH FEEL. This is ideal for people with back issues.”.

   I am 180 lb, 5’11 male, ~30 years old, exclusive side sleeper, never had back issues before. This mattress is on the firm side and causes me to toss and turn all night. I wake up feeling unrested and, since I’ve got it, gradually had worse and worse lower back pain… to the point where I saw a chiropractor for the first time in my life. it absolutely does not have a “plush” feel – my hips and shoulders almost immediately start to feel pressure when I lay down. I use proper pillows for neck and a leg pillow and it still doesn’t help.

   I’m confident in my assessment because I travel semi-regularly for work and whenever I’m in *any* other bed at a hotel, I sleep sooooo much better and my newly-developed back pain begins to subside. I was recently on a 12-day trip and was fully recovered by the end of it, but as soon as I was back in this mattress the pain started again.

   I’m giving it a 1 star because it creates pain rather than relieves it, the comfort level is awful, and it is not soft as advertised. The adage “you get what you pay for” couldn’t be more true here.

   2018 my new teen needed a new big bed and I shopped around – a ton! Decided to try buying a mattress online for the first time and took a chance on this one. It had what I wanted which was some level of being organic (without costing $1000), soft and obviously comfortable. We were impressed when it arrived and unfurled it. Allowed it to plump up for a couple days and she’s been sleeping peacefully ever since! Along with jumping and dancing and eating and spilling and loading it up with a gaggle of girls for slumber parties and it has held up completely to all of it and looks and feels like new still. I’m only back here as I’m now seriously considering getting one for myself this time around! Well worth its price!

   This was the first time my husband and I bought an Organic Bed. We wanted something that was soft, comfortable and affordable. Well, this Oliver Smith Mattress has turned well for us.

   After it arrived, we opened it up and put it on our new Walmart Metal Box Frame, with fit pretty good, just a little space at the corners. We allowed the bed expand for about 24 or so without sleeping on it. This also allow any smell to evaporate as well. However, I sprayed Truly Free Detergent with water on the mattress, that also helped it smell nice as the off smell aired.

   After the bed had fully expanded it measured about 11.50 inches high. We have been sleeping on it for several months now, and it’s still very comfortable. However, there are two things we would have wished were different and hopefully can be improved for future customers. One, the springs on the sides are not padded and there is a very slight sag on the part of the bed were we lay, but otherwise it’s good mattress overall. Concerning the sag, it’s not very noticeable as both my husband and I are slim in our features.

   Additionally, to keep our mattress clean and to prevent any leaking, we have purchased a waterproof bamboo fitted covering including new foam pillows with covering.
   Finally, see our bed complete with bedding on our Oliver Smith Organic Mattress.
   We are glad everything has turned out well and we have been very happy with our purchase. Yes. We would certainly recommend this mattress to other customers.

   Okay… I’ve been on this mattress over a week now and at first I had a love hate relationship with it. Prior to buying, I had a sleep number that was very old and had given out. So while mattess shopping I had actually been sleeping on the couch. My body was in pain but I loved soft comfort. THIS mattress is more so on the firm side. I put two pillow toppers on it because the one I ordered wasn’t very fluffy (so I added my old one).
   The first night I couldn’t get comfortable but once I fell asleep, I don’t remember a thing! No dreaming or anything! The next few nights I was the same way. Took a moment to get comfy… so I bought a body pillow! I’m so used to soft that I wasn’t sure how I felt about this.
   BUT here is the positive side. I sleep ALL NIGHT! No tossing and turning and rarely wake for bathroom. My BFF is 6’6 and broad! When he stays over it’s hard to get cozy and have uninterrupted sleep. But on this mattess he sleeps like a baby and I don’t feel him move around! I’ve notice that even on the weekends. I’m waking up early and I feel fully rested. And today it dawned on me, I haven’t been in any pain! My hips aren’t hurting, my neck and back feel great! I used to always take something to help me sleep and I haven’t since I got this bed and the only con I have is that I’m sleeping so sound that my alarm clock doesn’t wake me easily anymore!
   I love this mattress but it was something that took me out of my comfort zone so it took some time and probably still will to get totally used to it. Not only has this bed changed my sleep and how I feel, but it’s like super affordable!
   I’d definitely buy again!

   So i gave this mattress good 3 days before i used it and still its btw 10-11 inches and even less in one of the corners.. but in all its a very confortable mattress for the price. Description says its 6-8 inches of spring and than foam but i could feel the springs all the way to the top of the mattress on the sides but cant be felt when you sleep or sit on it. If you sit on it, i would say its 7 on the softness..but if you sleep on it, i would give it a 5 (10 being the softest). Very comfortable and nice cover all around..i did not smell any fumes after couple of hours. Good support on the corners as well. Over all beats most of the 1000 bucks mattresses in the big shops…
   I will update after couple of months of use if there is a prob. So far its a great buy,
