There are many devotionals available for specific interests. This “Sleep on This-evening reflections from God’s Word” is a brief daily devotional that
may not put you to sleep, but does provide a daily biblical topic which is more conducive to rest and helps to remind of what’s really important (IMHO).
A QR code is included for each entry, and provides an audio version of the day’s devotion. The relevant Scripture verses are also provided. The author,Dr.David Jeremiah, has written many books on Biblical subjects; he is an excellent Bible teacher.
In conclusion, this devotional would be a good addition to one’s bedside.

This is such a good little devotional to end your day knowing you can rest in God’s arms in peace. I have been studying God’s word through Dr. Jeremiah’s Bible teachings for over 20 years, and I learn something new every time I listen to his lessons, and read the The Jeremiah Study Bible. He makes it so relatable, and so easy to understand.

This is one of my most favorite devotionals ever. I especially love that I can listen to it (instead of reading) as I turn out the light to fall asleep at night. The person reading it has a very pleasant and calming voice accompanied by soothing soft background music. The 100 devotionals are each based on scripture and so relevant to our everyday needs and experiences in life as I find all of Dr David Jeremiah’s writings are. The readings are encouraging and assure us of Gods love. It also reminds me of God’s wondrous works and blessings from the Old and New Testaments to the present day.
I love the book so much I have given quite a few as gifts. I highly recommend especially for someone who might need to hear something calming and reassuring to peacefully fall asleep at night.
