I am a single woman who recently lost 200 pounds and my old mattress was wrecked, I needed a new one but didn’t have a 1000 bucks for a new one. I’d been a loyal Spring Air Customer. So I did my homework and looked at mattresses in my local stores. The mattress you are looking at was the one I chose. For a Full Size it was 599 dollars plus tax from the store. I really didn’t have it. I was going to finance it through the store. But, I kept thinking maybe I should check on Amazon first. I thought I might be able to save a few dollars. When I was able to get the very same mattress (no tax) delivered to my home for 190 dollars on the nose, well I clicked and bought it right away. I was scared of a bait and switch or maybe a counterfeit product I will admit. I could not have been more wrong, the mattress was the real thing and delivered to my home in two days. I will also sat it was heavy but I was able to wrestle it in the house and followed the instructions to open it. I was almost send through the wall when it “popped”. Be careful, they tell you there is 2 layers of plastic to cut through and there is not. When you cut its going to pop out and start unfurling. So be ready for the expansion. The mattress came to full size almost immediately although I let it alone on the box springs all day and let it rise before putting linens on it. I let a fan blow on it all day but there really was not an odor. I’ve slept on it every night since 8-9-18 and couldn’t be happier. No pain (and I have back troubles and fibromyalgia) and it looks wonderful. I have it on my box springs that are Spring Air and were in fine condition. Its firm but not so much it is painful or anything. I like it so far. I will occasionally come back if my opinion changes. I will be happy if this lasts a few years or longer. I have had this 2 years now and can’t tell it has ever been used, a real value. Still a great matress after all this time 3/17/21; Still doing great 4 years later, my granddaughter sleeps over with me and says it’s so comfy. Her dad bought the same mattress and loves it. Five years later 7/28/23 still going strong, might get another in the near future in case they would quit carrying them. They have jumped 100 dollars on the price point. I know inflation, so I guess you still can’t beat the price. Okay it’s now been about 6-7 years and I am ready for a new mattress and I will be buying another one of these mattresses, I am still using my old box springs but the mattress is wearing out now. Yes, I believe sometime this summer or fall I will buy another mattress. This one is still fine and I slept on much worse especially as a child. I had spinal surgery this winter and this mattress was great (no the surgery had nothing to do with the mattress). I was grateful to come home to old faithful and off the plastic wafer called a mattress at the hospital.

I have waited about a year and a half to write this review. Initial, the bed is extremely comfortable, however over time it the foam indented and it happend fairly quickly. I had to rotate the bed after about 6 months of use because I would slide into the indentation. The softness and proness to sunken spots is doing the opposite for me than what I initially bought the bed to do. Instead of relieving lower back and hip pain I feel as though this bed exacerbates it. All in all I would have gotten something else had I know, hindsight is 2020

This is a nice mattress and it did expand to the full height. It was labeled as medium firm so I thought it would be slightly more firm than it is. When I wake up in the morning there is an indentation where I was sleeping and it takes awhile to puff back up. It’s pretty squishy on the top which is fine for some people, I’m just used to a more firm mattress. I don’t notice any cooling effect and often kick my blanket and sheet off during the night so not sure about that quality. Otherwise it’s a nice mattress and good price.

Highly disappointed with this mattress and will be returning. This “firm mattress’s is the furthest thing from being firm. Within 48 hours of purchasing, it created a dent on the edge where a 25 lbs toddler sat. It sunk. And this feels more of a box spring where you feel the coils going into your back when laying down. This is AWFUL. DO NOT BUY. Thank goodness for returns as this would have been the worst waste of money, ever. Bought a much better mattress elsewhere.

Thank goodness I decided to switch my mattress for a better one(Ashley 12 inch Chime). My sibling has this mattress and I was given positive feedback. I got the firm because that’s what I prefer to sleep on. I experience zero back pain and it’s very comfortable to sleep on. Despite my mattress not reaching 12inches after 5 days of giving it extra time to fully expand, I would still recommend this mattress to anybody seeking a peaceful night’s sleep. Most certainly worth the money.
I had back issues sleeping on another mattress from a different brand here on Amazon. Not only were the seams coming apart, but the bed was very uncomfortable to sleep on.

We purchased a twin size for my 11 to to replace a foam mattress we had for way too long. We love the mattress, and I will be transparent as possible about pros and cons and why this mattress works for us.
Pro:
It’s very comfortable. Somehow it feels nice on a larger, heavy adult ( at least when lounging with the preteen in his room) and the slimmer growing preteen and his younger sister. We plan switching out our daughters mattress for this one as well.
The price…I mean that’s a given. I’m really impressed with the feel of this mattress for the price we paid.
Coils are very supportive
It sleeps cooler than his old memory foam. Memory foam sleeps hot to begin with but as the foam breaks down it doesn’t breathe well and really retains heat.
Perfect for a guest bedroom, college student, young adult just starting on their own, or kids.
Cons
The sides aren’t very reinforced, you can absolutely feel the coils if you touch the sides of the mattress. You will notice this if you sleep on the edge or sit on the edge of the mattress.
I wouldn’t rely on this bed for a couple, especially considering motion isolation
I also don’t think this bed would hold up long term for a higher weight adult.
I’m not sure how pressure relieving this would be for someone who really needs it, so take in consideration if you have chronic pain, arthritis etc.
My son hasn’t complained of any body pain since replacing the mattress, however I wouldn’t expect an adult to have the same experience. Replacing a mattress, especially one that is overdue to be replaced, will cause aches and pain. It can happen immediately after switching or you may sleep wonderfully for a few weeks after before the pain kicks in. It should go away if it meets what your body needs. Take in consideration if you are a stomach sleeper, side sleeper or back sleeper. Each sleep position requires different types of support.
