- ✅ HOW TO MEASURE: Pull tight along the outer seams of your sham, then measure the middle of your sham, from seam to seam – height and width – to find the correct insert needed.
- ✅ RECOMMENDATION: For best results, your 20×20 Decorative Throw Pillow insert should be larger than your sham to correctly fill the corners of the pillow cover, this will provide a very attractive firm and fluffy look to your sham, we recommend to place our inserts in shams that are 1″ or 2″ smaller than the pillow, It would depend on the thickness of the sham, a thick fabric would need a 2″ larger insert to keep it fluffed, a more lighter fabric would need a 1″ lager insert.

Just what is needed for a decorative pillow insert. Not too soft and so far, the feathers have not escaped the tightly woven cover. Make sure to buy an insert 2” bigger than your case.,

I’m extremely happy with my purchase and experience with ComfyDown. The pillows were delivered fast, made well and very soft (no feathers poking out and no bad odors). If you like to use your throw pillows as decoration and for that sometimes afternoon nap, I would recommend getting 2x size up for that extra fill in the corners and support (example: for a 18×18, get a 22×22). These pillows stand up nicely (doesn’t fall over) and can be karate chopped (for style). The customer service was top notch with making sure I was completely satisfied and responded quickly by email. Many other down inserts are made in China. I was drawn to ComfyDown because they are made in the USA. They were a little more expensive than others, but absolutely worth the price! I sized up to a 20 X 20 insert for an 18 X 18 pillow cover and they are perfect! Incredible quality, and I am so happy that they are made in the United States. Great buy!

These pillow inserts are very well-made and full. The care and unpacking directions are clear and concise. I threw them in the dryer on no heat for 3 minutes. I like that the cover fabric is cotton unlike some others that make a crinkling sound. I would highly recommend these as top-of-the- line and will be buying more.

I really like the comfydown inserts. I like 2 to 4 inches bigger than the pillow cover. I find that if I order the “correct” size that it is not only less fill than I prefer but the actual edges are smaller than the cover. I used a 30×20 for a 16 inch pillow and it is firm and full. I ordered several different inserts for my array of pillow covers. My pillow covers are thick kilim rug pieces and need a firm fill to stand up to their thickness. These work great. I am allergic to down and these are ok for me but I am not sleeping on them. For decor they are perfect.
