I hate getting into a cold bed and tossing forever trying to get warm. The pad arrived yesterday afternoon. Tested it quickly, works fine. Made the bed fresh: put the pad on the mattress, over that the regular pad and fitted sheet and the rest as usual. Turned the pad on as I was doing final chores. Below freezing outside. Window slightly cracked. By bedtime, 10 minutes later, was rewarded with a toasty warm bed. Heaven! Slept like a happy baby. Why did I wait so long to get this? (Set both controls at hi to start, turned both down to 5 after luxuriating and settling to sleep. Woke refreshed. Best night’s sleep in ages. I like big beds all to myself.)

This is our second heated mattress pad. The last one barely lastest 6 months. Thought going with name brand would help. The head of the bed get pretty warm. As it goes down towards the feet it is not so warm. What I am really disappointed with is how cheaply made the remotes are. You have to click on it several times to get the reading to move or change

This is great for my cold bedroom with no heat vents. It gets quite hot. I warm the bed up at 3, and then sleep on low. You can have auto turn-off at various hours (easy to set). The bright blue light turns off in seconds after setting the heat level (so doesn’t shine in the room). Can’t feel any wires. I think it’s very nice and I’ve been buying these (though Sunbeams) for years. Good warranty as well.

This was to replace some cheap thing I got last year that is way too hot and not trusted.
The remotes on this one are great, flat, easy to read and the light turns completely off after you set them. It’s a big deal to me to have it dark as possible. It also turns itself completely off after 10-12 hours so no worries there.
I just put this on with the tag and controls at the head, not the feet as instructed. As it turns out, the head part is not heated which means for me it’s the feet. NBD as it get colder, I may just turn it around. The sheets still fit good either way. I just didn’t want a long cord run for the first go around.
I turn this on about 1 hour before bed so it will be warm. Then, for now, I turn one side down 1 number and my side off. This keeps me nice and warm but won’t wake me up in a pool of sweat. As winter progresses, this will probably be adjusted to a warmer temperature.
I like the upgrades on the heated mattress pad. The new remotes are great and the pad so far is way better than my last one. It is a trusted name as well.

We have used three different heated mattress pads over the last twenty years, replacing them as they either died or became worn; I consider myself to be a knowledgeable mattress pad reviewer.
first, the things that could be just a little better. The click sound the controller buttons make are far too loud, and may even so loud as to wake your partner from a sound sleep. Second, the controller should have a dim LED light to keep the screen lit at night. However, neither one of these factors are really significant as you will typically turn the pad on while going to bed, and once you have used it for several nights, and have determined a comfortable temperature for you, you will likely will not need to readjusted the temperature- so no big deal with these factors.
Now the good. The pad itself is the only one I have owned that heats the full length of the bed. I am just over 6-foot tall and this pad will warm my feet. Second, it comes up to temperature fast, and in fact it will feel like it warms up somewhat past your ideal temperature when it is first starting so that it pre-warms the bed. Next, the controls are easy to use and the two controllers are fully independent from one another. The pad fits thick mattress with no problem and pulls tight with no wrinkles.
Lastly, the support team at Sealy is spectacular! A week or so after we purchased this pad one of the controllers became erratic, and with a brief text exchange with Sealy I received a new controller in the mail, and also received a follow-up text to make sure I was a satisfied customer.
Great product and great service, you will not be dissatisfied with this product.
