These are smaller than I expected, about the size of a kid’s nightlight. And they seem to throw off a similar amount of light. So you’ll want to make sure you put them above the level of your bed, or you won’t notice they’re on. The light sensor may be a little too sensitive as well – they go on during a cloudy day. The red light is pleasant enough, but I can’t really speak to any melatonin boost

I got these for my elderly father who has trouble sleeping, and even more trouble when he gets up at night to go to the bathroom. I had motion lights that turned on when he stood up, and although it lit up his path so he could get to the bathroom safely, it also woke him up.
These red lights go on when it gets dark. They do not bother him at all and best of all, when he wakes up to go to the bathroom, he can see the pathway safely without any other light.
These are wonderful!

I put one of these in a child’s room and one in mine. I’ve never really liked “light”in my bedroom as I’ve got awful insomnia and I try to stay away from any light. It’s easy to use as you just plug it in and push a button to toggle between light levels. On low, this is pretty soft and has a nice low glow. The look is a small modern and unobtrusive like it’s not even there during the day. It feels pretty well made and I felt safe putting this in my daughter room as well.
Does it work? It didn’t hurt my sleep at all but honestly, I don’t notice that it’s helping. I’ve been using it in an outlet across from my bed and it’s actual nice to have a little light that doesn’t affect sleep for me. Conversely, I like knowing that my daughter is happy with a new nightlight that won’t keep her awake either. For her, I’ll call this multi functional! Overall, a nice nightlight that may not help with sleep but doesn’t seem to hamper it either.

I got this to use at home in the hallway outside my bedroom door. I have small kids who need nightlights to find their way to the restroom during the night. Recently, I realized that the nightlights were affecting my sleep and I needed to find a way to keep the hallway lit at night but also not be too bright to affect my sleep. I came across this product and thought I would give it a try.
The nightlights themselves were very simple to figure out and they both fit into my electric socket without any issues. There is a button at the base of the light that enabled me to adjust the brightness of the light. The nightlights can sense when there is light in the room, such as sunlight, and turn off during the day.
The red light emitted by the nightlights does indeed seem to be high tech and not just a nightlight with a red filter. The light is a deep shade of red that is easy on my eyes at night. I can hardly see the light in the hallway now when I am in my bedroom. Most importantly, the light achieved my goal of not being too bright and keeping me up at night, but also providing a nightlight in the hallway for my kids. I found this to be an excellent product and give it five out of five stars.

The light isn’t overly bright, even at the highest setting and I don’t find it at all distracting. Yet, it’s bright enough to make your way out of the room in the dark. It has a soothing feel and I find myself often turning to my side to face the outlet. Successive presses on the button take you from off, to low, medium, high, and back to off. I don’t think it’s actually been scientifically proven at this point that red light can promote melatonin production, but several studies have suggested it may. If blue light can negatively impact sleep, I see no reason why red light can’t help promote sleep. I’ve been using it for seven nights, asking myself each morning when I wake up “Did I sleep better last night?” Three nights have been above average, two average, and two below average. That’s five nights out of seven that I’ve slept as good or better than I was before using this. That’s good enough for me to continue using it. I already think I would miss it if it weren’t on each night and I’ll probably pack the second light in my bag for my next overnight road trip.

For some reason, I thought these were little cordless lights and that I would be able to put it on my nightstand however; these need to be plugged into the wall. I don’t see how something so small and so far away from the bed could have an impact. It does have three levels of brightness controlled by the little button on the front. Given the size and limited placement, these are probably only going to function as a night light and not something that can actually have an effect on my sleep.

Red Night Light Therapy by Gamma comes in a two pack. You just plug one in and it is ready to go.
You can use this as a soft red night light, or to help fight off blue light.
I have used several red light therapy to help me with pain. I find that they really do work.
I have not had this long enough to see if this helps, however, as I keep drifting off to sleep, it just might be.
