Let me start by saying this is huge! I was surprised that something this cheap could produce so much light and be so big! It’s definitely heavy weight and long lasting. It provides different levels of light and that’s amazing those days you do not want so much red light! Highly recommend.

I am IMPRESSED! This thing is SOLID! It has multiple light settings and a build in timer. Definitely not a hand held device. I love setting it on the table and using it on my tummy before working out. It can also be mounted . I highly recommend this item if you are in the market for a red light device!

This is a nice addition to my self care routine. I like using the lamp a few times weekly and I do notice some improvement in my skin; however it’s too soon to notice a real difference. The lamp is easy to use, so I plan to keep up with it. I suggest purchasing red light goggles to protect your eyes in the process.

Wow, this is a really serious red light! I didn’t quite realize how hefty it would be until it arrived… and that’s fine!
It’s 3.3 kg, or over 7 pounds (!) and the light array is about 10″ x 13″. There’s a heavy duty stand on the back, and it also includes some metal cable if you want to suspend it over a table; the back also has screw keyholes, so it can be mounted directly to a wall/ceiling.
There’s a controller that you can plug in, in line with the power adapter. This gives you a timer (8, 15, or 30 min) and you can also choose low, medium, or full power.
The red light is perceptible from 3 feet away – it’s intense, in a good way. Even the low setting is noticeable at 2 feet off.
This seems like a pro-grade device you would find in a medical or chiropractic office, one that will run al day and keep it up for years. Obviously I haven’t run it for years (yet!) but it’s built like a tank and I see no reason to think it won’t last a long time.

This red light therapy unit works great. At first it was hard to adjust the stand but I figured it out. It’s very bright. Eye protection is suggested. Red light has man health benefits and this seems to help reduce pain. It’s very easy to use.

This near infrared therapy light comes permanently attached to an adjustable folding tabletop frame, but also includes hardware and directions to suspend it from a shelf or a wall if you prefer not to have it in a sitting position. The therapy light is intended to be used anywhere on your body – face, arm, legs, back, feet – what have you. There is a fan inside the LED lamp that keeps it from overheating when using on the high setting. It does get warm, but not overly hot and cools down pretty quickly once the auto shutdown turns the unit off.

It’s simple to use. There is a controller built into the cord. It controls power on/off, light intensity -low(20%), medium(60%), and high(100%). And it has an automatic shutoff timer that you can select – 8 minutes, 15 minutes, or 2o minutes. You do have to be pretty close to this lamp while using. Directions say no more than 30cm ~12 inches away. Suggested use of this product is 2-7 times a week.

There isn’t any real discussion about eye protection other than to say that it’s safe to use on the eyes. I’m playing on the safe side and personally try not to look directly at the LED lights when they are on, but when using it on my face specifically I keep my eyes closed. I’m actually considering using my own personal infrared goggles to block the light completely. But, that’s my personal preference, and not a requirement for this product. There is a fan inside the LED lamp that keeps it from overheating when using on the high setting. It does get warm, but not overly hot and cools down pretty quickly once the auto shutdown turns the unit off.

The directions don’t give much information about using this product. Just the basics on how to use it. Body area and time are left up to the individual to guess. Directions really don’t give any input on time to use this device other than to say between 10 – 25 minutes, depending on the area that you’re using it on. That’s not helpful if you haven’t listed any suggested times per body part. So, it’s left up to guess. Intensity level is also not really discussed. So, you’re left guessing which intensity level to use.

There are several books about red light and NIR that are worthwhile reading to understand why different light spectrums are worthwhile. On Amazon there are a lot of these lights that look almost identical, but if you look at the details, this one covers: 630nm 660nm 740nm 850nm, while no other ones on the site do. I was willing to wait a month for this model for the additional spectrums provided, and I would do it again. My only gripe about this is that the stand it is on is a bit hard to adjust. For those looking for a deep-penetrating light, this is it. If you are worried only about skin health, there are probably other better/cheaper options.

I ordered this Red light therapy lamp for the health benefits, specifically pain relief and circulation. I turned this on to try it out almost immediately after receiving it. It’s quite bright and has a few different settings. Te attachment remote worked as it should have without issue. After test cycling through the options I prepped to use it, but at 6 months pregnant I decided it best to chime it by google. It says there is limited research when it comes to RLT, and brought up two prominent studies that say they feel its safe, however there are a few that mention pregnant women, and people with low blood pressure, or people who are sensitive to light should avoid RLT. I am opting to wait to be safe, as I only get to make my little once and don’t want any unnecessary issues if I am able to avoid them! I will return to update when I have given this a go!
