Iâve been using the Ruanrest 12-inch queen mattress for a few weeks now, and itâs been amazing. The balance between softness and support is perfect â itâs plush enough to feel cozy, yet firm enough to keep my back aligned. Iâve had this mattress for âŻweeks now and Iâm genuinely impressed. The combination of memory foam + individually wrapped pocket springs gives a nice balance of comfort and support â itâs listed as mediumâfirm and it felt true to that for me (Iâm a side/back sleeper around 170âŻlbs). The foam layer softly contours my shoulders when I sleep on my side, yet the springs kick in when I roll onto my stomach or back so I donât feel bottoming out.
One of the best parts: motion isolation. My partner tosses and turns and I barely feel it. The mattress is in a box, easy to set up (just give it ~24â48âŻhours to fully expand). Also nice to see the foam is CertiPURâUS certified, giving me peace of mind about offâgassing and chemical content.
If Iâm nitâpicking: the edges are decent but not as robust as top highâend hybrids (so I feel a little less stable when sitting on the very edge), and it took a couple nights to fully âbreakâinâ (initially the foam felt a little firmer). But for the price, this mattress punches well above its weight. Iâd recommend it if you want a hybrid queen that performs solidly and doesnât break the bank.
