My husband and I were extremely hesitant about buying a mattress online for our platform bed especially when we weren’t sure what to expect.
So we purchased the regular 10″ mattress and when it arrived (earlier than expected, btw) I will admit that it was a little strange to see our mattress being delivered, rolled up and vacuum sealed, in a box.
Upon opening the box, we discovered that this mattress comes with a handy little cutting tool to cut the outside plastic that covered it and it avoids accidentally cutting/slicing the mattress itself. It started to expand as soon as I pierced the plastic. (No, it doesn’t blast open like a life raft. It starts to expand slowly.) We gave it 24 hours to expand PLUS the mattress is surprisingly not as heavy as one would expect. My old mattress was definitely bulkier and heavier than this one.
Overall, this mattress has exceeded our expectations. The 10″ mattress is a semi-firm mattress which was perfect for us. It’s firm enough for body comfort and support and yet surprisingly soft at the same time. You do not sink into the mattress and so far, our mornings have been without the aches and pain in our hips and back.
Definitely recommend this mattress if you’re looking for an affordable but good quality product. Absolutely no complaints whatsoever.

Ive had this matress for 6 months now. Still holding up. I sleep alone , other then a 7 pound yprkie and 2 cats. I weigh 136 pound. Its comfortable, but not the best comfort. I think i may add a matress pad. But for the price, i can’t complain. 🙂

No clue what all these negative reviews are about! Right out of the box, it was perfectly comfortable! Of course, we will be letting it expand for at least 48hrs, but honestly I’d be happy even if I slept on it now. The sides don’t have loose support, I can’t feel the springs (even with the foam not fully expanded), and it isn’t too firm or too soft. Like Goldilocks and the 3 Bears, it’s juuuust right! Great quality and value! No smell when opening the package, either. Highly recommend!

Some reviewers said it’s not firm, well they either got a different mattress or they’re lying. If it were any firmer it’d be close to a sheet of plywood with a cover over it.
I’ve slept on futons most of my life & never thought much about mattress firmness/softness but I figured futons are more on the firm side. So when I decided to buy a new bed I chose this one thinking it’d be to my taste. Well, it’s too firm for me especially when I use my wedge pillow which I only use to read or watch TV, and my lower back really doesn’t feel great with my wedge. I don’t have any back problems, but this mattress has so little give that it made that spot on my lower back sore after an hour or 2.
Sleeping on it is fine bc I don’t use my wedge to sleep so there’s no big pressure point. In fact I sleep great on it & wake up comfortably.
I ordered a topper to bring a little cushiness in. I didn’t get it yet but I think this bed is good quality and the price so reasonable that I didn’t mind spending a little more for a topper. Seems like it will last a long time so even though it’s a bit too firm for me I think it’s perfect for someone looking for a truly firm mattress.
UPDATE 2-3 weeks later:
I added a 2” gel memory foam topper which oddly made no difference, so I added 2 quilted mattress pads and a cotton quilt, but somehow it all made no difference. Been using this setup for 2-3 weeks and still have lower back pain from laying on it with my wedge pillow. I want a comfortable bed both for sleeping and for relaxing with a book or watching TV, but this mattress has no intention of allowing me to be confortable, especially when laying on my wedge. I’m not sure what the problem is, possibly the springs are just too rigid…possibly just not enough padding on top…? I didn’t even buy the option that says “firm” or “extra firm”, I just bought the 10” full. So whatever the problem is, I finally had to face the fact that it wasn’t going to get better, unless maybe I continued adding more & more layers on top of it, each incurring more cost and making my headboard shorter & shorter. So as much as I might have been thinking to foray into the princess & the pea territory, I finally woke up & realized my ceiling is only 9’ tall so I had better just return it and get another.

Im a very happy customer! I was a little nervous to buy this type of mattress. But the price was sooo good. And who isn’t looking to save a buck these days? The reviews were great so I chanced it! I’ve been sleeping on this bed for about two weeks now and I have zero complaints!! I find the firmness level to be perfect. Forgot to take a picture once I opened the package. But if you’re thinking of buying this bed, I say go for it!

I ordered the firm matress and it is perfect. Always worry about the firmness when you buy these. But I found this to be a perfect “firm” rating. Good padded surface. Like typical, I added a mid quality matress pad to help keep the matress clean. I found the surface to be smooth and soft yet I stay on top (not sinking into it) as I’m 220 pounds. My old matress was just too soft and too warm (all foam) so sunk in and just grabs you when you move. This matress keeps me on top (sinking in just enough), easy movement, easy in, easy out. I think the springs make all the difference allowing easy movement in the bed and makes it lighter for changing the sheets. I’m sleeping like a rock now!!
P.S. – I debated on the 10″, 12″ or 14″ and am supper happy with the 12″. Fitted sheets are easy to put on and a nice height.

I bought this for a guest bedroom. It really is firm and it holds up well. Don’t know how long it will last but for now it works. You can’t beat the price. The edges aren’t strong but they don’t collapse on you either. You won’t roll off the bed. I’m pleasantly surprised.

I was in need of a mattress quick. I had just paid $600 for queen mattress at a store so I was very unsure about the price, quality and in a box. I am so impressed with this mattress! It definitely was a great buy and fast delivery! It is very comfortable and worth the money! If I could return the $600 mattress, I’d buy another one of these!

Very good mattress at a great deal. The 12inch is a bit on the softer side for my liking. If I had to buy it again I’d pick the 10inch firm.

When I ordered this, I worried that there wouldn’t be enough support at the edges, or that it wouldn’t be thick enough, or that it would be too thin. I was happy to find out I didn’t have to worry. I found the mattress extremely comfortable. I’ve now had my 3rd solid good night’s sleep!
IT comes in a box, that is heavy as heck and looks waaay too small to hold a queen-size mattress. It came a week early- to my happy rejoicing. I wiggled and dragged it to my bedroom, and peeled the old mattress off my bed (We’ve been overdue for one for years) I opened the top of the box and wiggled the mattress in its bag out onto the bed platform. Reading the instructions and using the special tool- I opened the outside bag – It immediately starts sucking in the air- which is weird as heck to hear form drinking in the air. I carefully unfolded it to spread it over the platform of the bed- before taking off the inner wrapper. It was like watching those sponge toys you got as a kid- it flumped up into a normal-looking mattress within minutes. Of course, I had to lay on it to see what it was like… COmfy!
It came with a mattress cover to protect it.
The hybrid part of it keeps it from being too soft- I’ve slept right on the edge and not rolled off or even felt like I was rolling off. It’s firm where it needs to be firm, and soft on top where you sleep. *disclaimer- We have a 3 inch foam mattress cover that I’m using with this- but even without it the bed would be comfortable.*
