I don’t sleep any cooler at all with this blanket. It’s silky and it’s beautiful, but it doesn’t keep you cool in fact it’s a little warmer than my regular cotton blankets.

UPDATE: In response to my bad review, the company contacted me to offer a full refund. For the responsive customer service and the fact that the blanket itself was of nice quality, I upped my review to average (3 stars instead of 1).
I finally decided to give once of these cooling blankets a try for the first time, this one had the right price point for that. I didn’t think much of the slippery comments for all these “cooling” type blankets, I don’t have any particular coordination issues to worry about.
That said, slippery is an understatement, hazard is more like it. Alone on a surface the material is quite slippery, yes. When the blanket material folds on itself it is basically an ice rink. I can totally see this is an accident waiting to happen for myself if I stepped on it when puddled on the floor (after it slid off the bed maybe) or for my cat — even when she jumps onto the bed she could go flying.
Also, I am totally not seeing the benefit of this so called cooling material. It is basically your everyday old school underwear or nightgown polyester fabric back in the day which is cool to the touch when away from the body and retains heat when in contact. This thing is a total furnace when you want it to be cool and a refrigeraor when you want it to be warm. More lose-lose than win-win.

I don’t feel the ‘cooling’ effect with most bedding products but this one I can sort of feel it. It’s certainly not really warm and I understand the technology of how ‘cooling’ fabric bedding works, but I never feel it’s working as I expect. This one is the closest I’ve come to actually getting a ‘cooling’ feeling. I love the soft texture of the fabric! It’s a great size & weight blanket and its very comfortable. It looks & feels fairly well made for mass produced bedding. Really good product – I recommend.

No idea why they call it a dog blanket. Glad I took the chance and bought it anyway.

Feels cool to touch initially but you have to continually rotate/move the blanket for the cooling effect. The fabric pulled after one wash

This has really made a difference in my quality of sleep. It’s so light weight that I’m going to use it as a sheet . I’ve used it under a cotton comforter and surprisingly happy it remains so cool. I’ll be buying again. Hot flashes be gone lol
