Pain free for the first time in months after just one use. Absolutely nuts. They say RLT can help reduce oxidative stress and stimulate tissue repair. Those are both huge wins for folks with struggling kidney trouble and high blood pressure. This is far more effective then a tens belt, accupressure or deep tissue massage. If the pain is down, blood pressure is down. They did studies on dogs with CKD and found that RLT extended their lifespan and quality of life. I believe it. Super happy with this purchase. Far better then a fully body massage chair at twice the price

I am using the mat for pain relief. It is easy to set up, and I use it on top of my mattress on my bed. Am using it currently at a low level of approximately 20 minutes, and find it to be relaxing and comfortable. I appreciate the dark glasses too which came with the mat, as they darken the room considerably and provide protection, as well as a calming influence.

This red light mat is exactly what I’ve been looking for. It has excellent full body coverage and several power options. I was nervous to spend a lot of money but this mat is wonderful and worth every penny!! Me and my husband use this. He noticed results right away for his muscle soreness and stiff joints. I am already feeling the benefits of having less back pain and leg soreness. It’s large enough to lay on entirely and warms with use making it so restful and relaxing. I also cover myself with it like a blanket. After daily use I am noticing I’m sleeping better also. The customer service was amazing and they were quick to help me answer questions and make sure I had everything I needed for effective and safe use of the mat. This is my favorite thing I’ve gotten off Amazon. It is also very easy to use. After about 5 min of set up that is literally just hooking up the power box and laying it where you want to use it, it’s good to go.

Love this red light mat. I sometimes fall asleep it’s so relaxing. Great size. I’m 5’6 and there’s plenty of length and width. I’m plus size. Has helped with my inflammation, pain and weightloss. I have it on the opposite side of my bed so easy to use for mobility restrictions

I’ve been using the red light therapy full body mat for a few weeks now, and I’m extremely impressed with the results! The mat is easy to use, comfortable, and provides even light distribution. I like this mat. It seems well constructed and I enjoy using it. However, it has a potential fatal flaw. It comes with a proprietary power supply with an embedded rheostat (pictured). Out of the box the dial is set to Max. Dialing it down dims the light intensity, but this can also be done by selecting one of the five power levels, P1 through P5. Therefore, it only seems useful if you wanted to attempt to simulate a level 3.5, for instance, which you could never do by eye. You’d need a sensitive light intensity metering device of some sort, so this seems like a useless feature. My problem with the unit is that the power supply box gets concerningly hot after 60 minutes of use at level P3. Hot to the point that you’re wondering if the casing will warp. I don’t think this is safe. I’d hate to think how hot it would be after 90 minutes at power level 5. Therefore, it seems unlikely that this unit could ever be used to its full potential. It was plugged directly into the wall socket btw.
I attempted to reach out to the seller, who has an outlook.com email address (never a good sign), regarding this issue and have yet to receive a response. I would therefore warn you that there is seemingly no legitimate vendor standing behind this device and once the 30 day return window closes, you and I will both be SOL. I can’t see how the power supply could possibly last, getting so hot on a regular basis. I may try to cool my power supply with a fan, or by resting it on a covered ice pack, but this should not be necessary. If it were an inexpensive device, I might take a chance. Given the fact that I’m out of pocket more than $350 at the time of this writing, it seems like a very bad bet.
It could be that my unit is simply defective. I’ll most likely send it back for a replacement. I’ll let you know what happens with the second unit.
UPDATE: Before my initial review was even published, customer service reached out to me and offered to send a new power brick, which I received promptly, drop shipped from Walmart, of all places. The new (identical) power supply gets hot too, but I have mitigated this by propping the unit at a 45-degree angle and using a small fan to circulate air around it. It’s the bottom surface that seems to generate the most heat, so airflow beneath keeps the until very cool. Initially the bottom surface of the brick was resting on carpet so that compounded the problem. Now that the heat issue is solved, I’m upping my rating to 5 stars due to the perceived high quality of the product so far, and the excellent customer service I received.

I really enjoy my red-light therapy mat. I have COPD and it breaks up the congestion in my bronchial tubes. It has also helped with my skin looking younger. I put it on the floor in my bedroom, after I use it every morning, I slide it under my bed. I am 71 years old and there are a lot of benefits from this product. It seems to reverse aging!
