This is my second Manta Sleep mask, the only reason I replaced my 1st is that I’ve lost it in an airplane after years of use, I had the normal one.. I thought since I trust this brand I wouldn’t mind paying the extra money for the silk mask
Is the silk way better than the normal Manta mask, not really,, it is better but not waay better
I guess what I’m trying to say is that the normal Manta mask is already a perfect product,, it’s very difficult to make something better/more comfortable, but they did to an extent with this mask
I’m a guy with a big nose bump & just big nose in general, no matter what mask type I try.. and believe me I tried all kinds there is always a light leak from below because of the big nose.. Not with the Manta though, So if you’re like me and have this light leak problem with other masks just go for that one

Only received the eye cups and not the whole mask.

Purchased this as a gift for a close friend who was spending two weeks in Europe for her many flights… she loved it!

I’ve tried a lot of eye masks but since I don’t have much or a nose bridge, light leaks in. Some masks also makes my face sweat. Some masks see just not thick enough to totally block light out.
This is an expensive eye mask, but well worth the money. I travel a lot and this really helps me sleep on planes and hotel rooms. You adjust the eye cups to fit your face, total darkness. Zero pressure on your eyes. The eye cups are also silk, so very nice feel on your face. Love it.

I’ve tried several different types of sleep eye masks, and this one has been the best one so far. It has worked the most at consistently keeping the light out, albeit with some adjusting. Now the company needs to change to a healthier, zero chemical foam to go along with the all natural silk.

I honestly have hated most eye masks I’ve tried in my life, and haven’t managed to keep them on while falling asleep because I got so annoyed at them. But light messing with my sleep was making me desperate( my husband usually goes to sleep later than I do, and the repeat wakeups from the light of his phone were turning me into w full on rage beast) and a friend with sleep issues said this helped a lot so I said to heck with it, let’s try the expensive one.
Well it’s definitely helped. It’s definitely dark underneath it and comfortable enough that I can leave it on all night. It takes a little fidgeting to find the right sleeping position (I’m a side sleeper) but it’s definitely improved my sleep to the point where the circles under my eyes are lighter. Honestly, I thought those were permanent, so that’s quite a nice bonus.

I looked up the factory where these are made in China. I could not find the silk ones, but the regular ones are $3.50 The profit margin is insane.
Ok, so are these absolutely wonderful and worth getting gouged? Meh, the back of the band is thick and uncomfortable against a pillow and side sleeping is also uncomfortable.
I like them enough that I will return these and get the standard ones. They do indeed have 100% black out if you are on your back, and I fly a lot. $35 is still way too high, and $70… I am expecting perfection.

This mask would have been perfect; however, the part that actually touches your eye (the part that matters) does not act or feel like any of my other silk products. I tried to reach out first to the company but they never wrote back.

Super comfortable and lightweight. Complete blackout and the eyes are replaceable to heated or cooled sockets.
