Lora Conklin –
I had two knee replacements. One in December and I had to sit, sleep and recover on a recliner chair. It was awful. The next knee I ordered this. It’s nice because it’s high enough to get up out of the bed without effort. The control lights up bright at night when using. I bought the twin size which I wished I would have bought a full or Queen. Go bigger if you can. I’m a bigger person and I have a lot of flipping to do instead of rolling over naturally. It bends in a V meaning it does not have a Ben at the knee. It goes up for the head and legs but no bend at knee so if you want that this is not for you. So far everything has worked great on it and it’s held up well with all my odd flipping during my recovery. I can’t move easy since I can’t use my legs to turn over so if it can handle my lbs and my doing the floppy fish on it I’d say it’s strong. Plus you cannot beat this price. It is also quite, the motor is not loud. Delivery was fast. It is heavy so you might need some help bringing it to your house. Once out of the box it was easy to move up stairs with 2 people. Set up is very easy and I had no issues with the legs. Definitely would recommend but I wish I had gotten a bigger one than a twin. My mistake, always go big if you can!

The guys who delivered were in a hurry of course, but we’re careful, and polite. They helped get the heavy box on the porch so we could deal with it when ready.
Setup was super easy; fold out, screw on the legs, plug in the power cord, attach the end bracket.
In testing it, before mattress and people were on it, the head piece worked smoothly, but the foot piece made some nasty sounds as it looked like the top material pulled away from being stuck on the frame. After that, it was fine.
The remote is simple, and has easy to remember buttons so I can use it in the dark, or if I misplace my glasses.
I’ve used it almost a week so far. Other than terrifying the cats a little, it’s been great! The motor is fairly quiet and the motion of the bed is smooth and feels sturdy, considering I’m a fat kid. There’s decent clearance underneath for storage, just be mindful of the wiring.
I’ve got chronic back pain and spent a lot of coin on a good mattress as well, but so far I’ve spent more time sleeping in bed than on the couch, so that’s new and hopeful.
Very happy this far.

Saludos.

I was directed by my doctor fairly recently to get an adjustable bed. I recently learned that adjustable bases do not have to cost an arm and a leg. Stores over-charge for bases by about a 400% to 900% markup. For example: A similar base to the Lucid L600 in one of my local bed shops costs about $2300 in a twin XL and doesn’t include voice control!
I bought the Lucid L600 adjustable base (Twin XL size) around April 5, 2021. I had been researching adjustable bases for 2 months prior, before landing on the L600.
Everyone knows that most adjustable bases are made in China with the same cheap metal, etc. The Lucid bases are made in Taiwan, but similar care should be taken. If that gives you pause, consider that many makes of the true high end Audiophile gear are also made in Taiwan, not to mention China either partially or on the whole.
That said, there is a distinct advantage to going with a Lucid base, I will get to momentarily.
Lucid, offers 5 levels of adjustable bases: The L100, L150, L300, Advanced and L600
The L600 is their top model.
All bases come with fixed height legs, but you can purchase adjustable ones through Lucid or Amazon if needed.
What makes the Lucid L600, L300 and Advanced stand out? For starters, it is the warranty. The standard warranty on adjustable bases of almost any other make is 1-year Limited just for the frame, the motors and other parts are not covered!
Lucid offers a 10-year Limited warranty on the L600, L300 and Advanced models. This is almost unheard of in this industry!
Lucid’s warranty breaks down this way: YEARS 1-3: Warranty covers defects in the workmanship or materials for a period of three (3) years from the date of purchase. Lucid® will send replacement parts for any defective part to the purchaser, and Lucid® will pay all authorized labor and transportation costs associated with the repair or replacement of any parts.
YEARS 4-10: During the years four (4) through ten (10) from the date of purchase, Lucid® will offer replacement parts for any defective mechanical part. Purchaser shall pay 1/7th of the replacement cost of the defective part multiplied by the number of years since three (3) years after the warranty commencement date and Lucid® shall bear the remainder of the cost of the replacement part. The purchaser shall bear all labor and shipping costs associated with repair or replacement of the defective part(s). An exception to this is the metal frame, which is covered in full for the duration of the 10 year warranty.
On top of that though is the customer support Lucid offers that has to be experienced to be believed! I can’t effectively describe it, you have to experience it. I had spoken with reps at Lucid several times before purchasing the L600 and every time they answered the phone within two rings and more importantly, they are the friendliest and most helpful folks! They treat their customers like family.
They have no hesitation or endless red tape to deal with regarding warranty or repair or any other issues with their customers. The customer service manager told me that they like to give the benefit of doubt to their customers should a warranty or repair issue occur instead of just throwing the customer under the bus automatically.
It is unheard of to get this kind of warranty and support on a product like this.
You may purchase products from the Lucid website and you are taken to Amazon to complete the purchase in most cases. Lucid has exclusive contracts with Amazon, Walmart and Wayfair.
The L600 (as with all their bases) is easy to assemble. If you have a partner to help, assembly takes about 10 minutes.
TIPS: The hardest part of assembling the base is flipping it onto its feet. The twin XL size is 100 pounds. This is why two people are recommended in assembly. Be careful NOT to lean it on its side using the legs as leverage to flip the base over! This increases the chance of either bending or breaking the leg bolts or a frame weld. If you don’t have a partner to help, you can assemble it from beneath: look further in the customer comments on Amazon for how to do it.
I also recommend that you use furniture sliders under the legs if you want to move the bed for any reason after assembly. Put one under each leg. Get the plastic ones for carpet and felt ones for hard floors. These can be had on the cheap. On any adjustable base I have heard a number of times about people going to move the bed a couple of inches and wind up bending or breaking a leg bolt or a weld due to too much pressure in one direction. This is true of any brand base.
Pros (or what I like):
Excellent customer support
10 year limited warranty
High quality Okin motors with smooth, perfect speed operation, not too fast or slow.
18 button remote with clearly marked buttons including one programmable button and presets can also be reprogrammed by the end user!
Backlit remote
Android and iOS apps for more customization
USB ports
Under bed lighting
Three strength and multi-mode massage
Voice control (Siri only at this time, but Alexa ability is currently in the works and will be free for all owners when released)
Cons: (Nothing is perfect so let’s look at the caveats):
While the remote is backlit it only comes on when you have pressed a button. Finding the correct button in the dark is impossible. Too bad the backlight on the remote does not activate with movement.
The only other caveat is that there is no separate massage strength button, one just hits the head or foot massage button again to cycle through the strength. The “Mode” button cycles through the different massage modes. This is not that big a deal though, just something to note.
Overall, the caveats hardly take away from the greatness of the product and with support like Lucid offers there is no reason not to consider an adjustable base from this company.
Last tip: If you want to get the L600, L300 or the like, I highly suggest avoiding Wayfair at the moment. You are far better off going through the Lucid website or direct through Amazon or even Walmart. I recommend the Lucid/ Amazon route.
You don’t have to just take my word for it. If you are looking at getting an adjustable base (they also have mattresses and other bedding items) and have some questions, technical or otherwise. Go ahead and contact the good folks at Lucid and experience it for yourself!

I’ve been using this base for a month now, and I absolutely love it! It seems very sturdy and works great. I was initially skeptical since it is quite a bit cheaper than other similar bases, but it has been working perfectly. And it was very easy to assemble. Overall, it’s a great budget base!

The adjustable positions allow me to raise the head and foot of the bed, making it easy to find the perfect angle for reading, watching TV, or simply relaxing. I can also adjust the bed to reduce pressure on my back and legs, which has significantly improved my overall sleep comfort.
One of the main reasons I invested in an adjustable base was for its health benefits. I suffer from mild sleep apnea, and elevating the head of the bed helps reduce snoring and improves breathing at night.
I was worried that an adjustable bed might be noisy or disruptive, but the motor on this base is whisper-quiet and operates smoothly.
The frame feels sturdy and well-built, giving me confidence that it will last for years. Setting it up was also surprisingly simple—everything was clear and straightforward, making the process quick and hassle-free.
The wireless remote is intuitive and easy to use, with pre-set positions and the ability to customize settings.
The adjustable bed base has exceeded my expectations. It’s perfect for those seeking extra comfort, and health benefits. Whether you’re looking to improve your sleep posture or simply enjoy a more customizable sleep experience, I highly recommend investing in one.
I got the twin size and wish I ordered full size.

My wife cracked a vertebra and when I saw how much the hospital powered bed was helping her, I got this for the day she came home. It works. Easy to set up, but this frame is HEAVY. It WILL require two reasonably strong people to lift the whole box and to finish the assembly. This is my only dislike. The six legs screw into the upper frame. The bed is perfectly stable when upright. However, you CANNOT roll the bed from its side to an upright position. The strain on the legs would bend them. It must be lifted. Even if you were strong enough, it is too large an object to hold for one person. Great bed, comfortable, solid, quiet operation and incredibly helpful for limited mobility.

Wow, this is an incredible adjustable bed frame. I don’t think I will ever leave my bed now 🤣🤣 The setup took no time and the remote worked out of the box. I am very impressed with the massage feature. Most places charge up to $5000 for a bed frame with features like this. You won’t be disappointed!!

This arrived in a manageable package, and was easy to assemble although I recommend 2-3 people for the flip from assembly to right side up, not 1-2 as they suggest. It is working well, easy to use the remote, it only took about an hour to put it together including time waiting for another body to flip it.
