Recommend by my favorite strength instructor, Rebecca Kennedy. I like lime best. It tastes great. It does not smell the best. It is great to drink during a lift! It is easy to incorporate into your routine.

Mixed berry doesn’t even begin to mask the horrible taste of EAAs. Might as well sell unflavored and let us try ourselves.

Disappointed in the flavor. I was excited to try this product but is way too sweet and artificial in flavor.

I take this product every morning for the health benefits of amino acids. I don’t have a perfect diet and this helps with what I’m missing. I love it and I have no complaints. It dissolves easily with minimal effort. I feel good when I take it. I have less fatigue and less brain fog, I feel calmer, and it curbs my hunger slightly. I’ve been using the Cool Lime flavor and I like it so much I’ll continue with that flavor. I mix it with water and sometimes, a little extra lemon or lemonade. I recommend that. I don’t notice an after taste or a chemical flavor. There are several reviews on here that are focused on the taste, so I’ll add: Of course the flavor is not as good as a real glass of cool limeade, or a real watermelon, but that’s because it’s a supplement, not a drink mix. This is the only Kion product I’ve tried but the quality is encouraging and I’m interested in trying others.

This tastes absolutely awful and sadly I can’t return it. Even after mixing it with my LMNT electrolytes (which I love), I can still taste that bad flavor. I used to take the capsules before but sometimes taking 7 large capsules can be hard to swallow but I think I might switch back bc I actually think the product works well in terms of efficacy.

I love this powder. Even when not doing a workout, if I come in from outside yard work on a hot day exhausted, I drink this immediately and it restores all my energy and my muscles don’t get sore. No caffeine type energy drink feeling or like drinking too much coffee. Just “back to normal”. Love this product for a few years now.

This product is top quality I would highly recommend

Fantastic product, not sweet like other electrolyte, amino drinks. i put one scoop in 400-500ml and its not sweet at all. Love the feel and definitely supports recovery

I’ve tried other Essential Amino Acid powders that were cheaper but they suffered in mixability and flavor. I always seem to come back around to the KION mixed berry product and pay the higher price. EAAs do not taste good or mix very well in liquid but are essential for use in putting on muscle. I can see this product benefiting people that do high endurance workouts or lifting weights. Additionally, older persons in general will have decreased ability to convert proteins they consume into complete amino acid chains in their digestive track. Your body needs these amino acid chains to convert back to proteins to be used for processes throughout your body including muscle repair and growth. My 80 year old Mother-n-Law takes this product every morning and it has strengthened her and has assisted with weight loss of visceral belly fat. I will continue to use this product but hope Kion becomes more competitive with pricing.

That just were not going like how they used to. I sat down one day and figured out why. I had stopped taking EAA’s because I thought they weren’t working.
FF to working out and, being older, just struggling to feel good. I then researched different EAA’s and decided on Kion since they actually tell you what’s in it vs others with “proprietary blend” which doesn’t break down. I’m on my 2nd container (so 2nd month) and I definitely feel a difference. My runs are going better, I’m recovering better and I just feel better.
Flavors: I’ve tried Watermelon and Mango. Both are decent tasting (let’s face, this type of stuff just doesn’t taste the best in general) but I’m finding the Mango to be my favorite. I can actually drink the mango by itself mixed with water and ice and find it very refreshing. I will often toss a scoop of the Kion into whatever I have left of my hydration in the bottle after a workout so many times it’s mixed with Nuun and I’ll finish my Nuun with the EAA’s added. The watermelon was really good when I added it to freshly made watermelon juice, squeezed lime and soda water (or lime seltzer). I imagine adding the mango to any small amount of fruit juice with lime or and soda water will be refreshing as well. Anyway…
Quality product, taste compared to others is good, brand with good reputation, easily mixes with whatever (I just usually shake to mix in any lidded container and it mixes perfectly). I have item on subscribe & save, though I wish it was a little more affordable. However, having tried cheaper EAA’s, it’s cheaper for a reason and definitely didn’t work as well for me.
