Update – I liked the height of my bed frame and the mattress collectively. However, I wanted is a little higher, so I added highers and magically the edges are much firmer. I sit in the edge of the bed all the time now and no problems. This was my only issue, so this mattress gets a solid 5!
Original Review:
This is my first box mattress, and I had no idea what to expect. My colleague helped me set it up, and it was actually super easy. In fact, the hardest part was taking off the plastic lol! I wish we had did a video, but not knowing what to expect we were focused on just getting it set up.
Please note it is heavy, nothing light about it. Also if it’s not delivered directly to your home, you’ll need a vehicle where the seats let down because it won’t fit across the back seat.
Now once we got the plastic off, and started unrolling it, it immediately started to rise. It looked like it fully inflated right away; but I like to follow directions, so I gave it the full weekend to settle before actually sleeping on it. There was no odd smell or anything.
Now, I have horrible back issues, so I had explored reviews that suggested the mattress had good back support, and this one had several mentions of back pain relieve. Maybe my back issues are too extreme, but I haven’t seen any real relieve. (I made another purchase to try and address this).
However, I love the size of the mattress, and beyond my back I find it to be very comfortable.
Now I don’t like the lack of firmness around the edges, which appears to be extremely weak. Whenever I sit on the edge of the bed I feel like I’m going to fall off. The rest of the mattress is actually pretty firm. I feel well supported. NOTE: it doesn’t hurt my back anymore than what I experienced before. If it wasn’t for the issues with the edges I would give this mattress 5 Stars. I really like it!

We ordered this mattress for our toddlers bed and also for guest to use when visiting. It’s honestly very comfortable and dad and I have fallen asleep easily in it while trying to put our toddler to sleep. Grandma sat on the bed while she was waiting for us to leave for dinner and we went in and she was passed out snoring lol.
If you need a mattress and for a good price, I would recommend.

I wasn’t expecting too much, as the price was under $300, for a king. Our last matress, a Serta, was almost $1,100 and that was eight years ago. Well, I was quite impressed once it was opened and expanded. It was described as medium firmness and I have to say it is about as perfect a medium as I could want. In my opinion. It looks like a quality mattress. Doesn’t look cheap or low quality at all. We are on on second night and we are very pleased with it. We both agree it is very comfortable and we are sleeping very well. As far as durability, we’ll only time will tell but at this price, if we just get 2, 3 or 4 years out of it the. It is well worth it! Definitely would not hesitate to recommend it. Good purchase, great price, great product.
“Good to know’s”:
1) Box is HEAVY. Two grown men were needed to get it in the door and to the bedroom. Do not try to move it alone. Once it is out and expanded, it is much easier to manage.
2) Use caution when cutting the vacuum packing bag the mattress is in. The very moment you begin to cut it open, the mattress will expand. Rather violently too. Like a 6’ x 6’ eighty pound supercharged Jack-In-The-Box.
3) We were not able to wait 24-72 hours. We are both 60 and had no where else to sleep and we certainly couldn’t sleep on the floor. Not at our age. However, the mattress expanded immediately. It was at full 12” thickness quickly. It was approximately 12 hours from unpacking to bedtime and we had no issues whatsoever. It was very comfortable.
3) If you have an open area to open the vacuum packaging, and are able to move the mattress after unpacking I would do so. It popped open so quickly and forcefully it knocked some pictures off the wall above the bed and knocked things off the nightstands. LOL! If I had to do it again, I would have unpacked it in the middle of the living room where there is open space, THEN, I would have moved it to the bedroom and bed frame.
4) We have not detected any odors or defective stitching or anything like that.
So, we have nothing but positives at this point. Taking into account the price, we are quite well pleased.

I was initially skeptical after seeing the price, which is just 1/3 of what big mattress stores like Ashley Furniture and Roomstogo quoted me for similar type of mattress. However, after getting the mattress delivered within 2 days of ordering and using it for a week, I am completely satisfied with it. The firmness is exactly what is described. There is no smell that bothers you. It took only 24 hours to get fully inflated. The shape is not deformed and fits perfectly into my queen size bed. The appearance of the mattress is of very high quality one as well.

UPDATE; It’s been 5 months that I’ve been sleeping on this mattress and not much has changed except that I do sleep much better. The mattress has held up comfortably, and there’s no sunk in spot where I mostly lay. For the last 2 1/2 -3 months now, I have been suffering from severe sciatica pain on my right then into my left sides and Im so thankful for a good bed to rest and try to heal on..
I haven’t slept on this yet but it feels good and looks plush. It expanded quickly as soon as the plastic was cut. I did lay on it several hours after set up and it was comfortable. I’m hoping after a couple days the foam top will be fuller. The edge is kind of soft, not as strong as expected for sitting on the edge, and I did notice that the springs seem to go into the space that the foam top was supposed to fill but I didn’t feel the springs when sitting or laying on it. There was no smell at all, and was quite. It wasn’t too heavy but was glad to have my daughter here to help me. I would recommend this mattress.
