Comfortable enough, no odor and seems well constructed. But there does not seem to be as much edge reinforcement as I was hoping—kind of roll off onto the floor. Not sure if we are keeping it. Update: talked to owner and wow! Amazing customer service. Refunded even though unboxed inflated and used for a week—AND they recommended the right mattress for my elderly mom.

Okay, I spent hours researching mattress brands and can confidently say this is the best HEALTHY brand on the market.
– First of all, the materials are top-quality. The other brands at first seem comparable but $300-$500 cheaper. But once you get into their fine print, you realize why it’s cheaper. The cheaper brands use chemicals and bad materials. The adage “you get what you pay for” is true and for me, I don’t mind paying a few hundreds dollars more for the best option. This mattress will last YEARS and it’s worth the extra investment.
– The owner of the company actually cares, and if you have issues or questions, personally reaches out. What a refreshing customer experience!
– Delivery was easy and on time. Unrolled it from box and it kind of springs to life, easy peasy.
– Mattress is “plush firm” so it feels supportive without being too squishy. Zero chemical smell, which is a bonus, as I’m sensitive.

This mattress claims to be non-toxic made of cotton, wool and latex. However, it contains polyester. You can not find anywhere in the description nor their website where it says it has polyester. Very misleading. Also, it has a very strong chemical smell. I don’t recommend. Currently in the process to return it and it has been such a pain. No organizations near me take mattresses, only way to get rid of it is to dispose of it for a fee of $150+.

Seems ok but does have an odor for multiple days now. Also hopefully whatever you decide to lay ur mattress on has a pleasant smell or no smell as well. I prefer everything odorless.

I was needing to replace my saggy old mattress. Really wanted to purchase some thing that was nontoxic and organic even though it would be difficult with my budget. Was willing to spend more than I would in a mattress store, but didn’t have thousands of dollars to spend. Was very happy to find this in a company made and located in United States!! I love the mattress very comfortable, and I was looking for hybrid as I find them much more comfortable and easy on my back. I would absolutely recommend this company and this product and will definitely purchase from them again – next time I am needing a mattress. Great quality mattress for the price made with nontoxic materials. As others have mentioned before, even received a personalized note and warranty documents inside the package – Nice touch!!!

After months and months of research I stumbled upon the Ethical Mattress Company. First thing that caught my eye was the safety standards it holds. It’s made from only quality materials so I can rest assured knowing my little one is sleeping on a safe and healthy mattress. I had a question back when doing my research and reached out to the company only to be responded to by the owner of the company! He answered all of my questions and more. When we were ready to buy it came expertly packed and very easy to unroll. There was also a hand written note from the owner with the warranty information and receipt, thanking us for our purchase. There were NO unpleasant smells and looks and feels beautifully crafted. Upon its arrival we still weren’t quite ready to transition our daughter to this mattress so I reached back out to the owner and asked for the best storage options and he quickly got back with me. I would hands down recommend not only this mattress but this company to anyone and everyone!

Wow! They don’t make them like this anymore. Solid company to do business with. After I had made my purchases for 2 mattresses Bryan reached out to double check if I had wanted 2, (my boys have bunk beds) but also credited me back for the shipping for one of the mattresses. Amazon pushed out the delivery date if I would have purchased both in one shopping order but if I purchased separately on two different orders I could get them sooner. Anyways, I purchased a 6” and a 10” and my boys both love them. Said they were just right in firmness and pretty comfy. Sizes are perfect. Zero smell and setup pretty quickly. Define bang for my buck!

I liked that it was a hybrid between a latex mattress and a spring mattress with still being non toxic. The firmness took a little getting used to, we thought about getting a pillow top to put over it but then our bodies adjusted to the difference Manoel we love it!
