These are cute but not super functional. You’ll get occasional whiffs of the essential oil that you apply but it’s not comparable to electric diffusers.

These passive diffusers look just like the product pictures which is great because of the cute design. Size is exactly 5cm in diameter. The wood is smooth and light weight. I’ve put oils in it twice now and it worked well to release light scent into the air. Perfect to put on a desk, bed side table or in a small bathroom. The oil does leave a stain on the wood as you can see from the side photo.

These “diffusers” not only do not diffuse, they do not even have a scent. I soaked them in lavender oil many times and they “sucked up” the oil, but I literally had to hold them up to my nose to smell any hint of lavender; after one day, there was no scent at all.

These are small & working for my purpose. I wanted something for just my desk & nightstand so just I smell it. I didn’t need the clips, but the ad is misleading if you do need them. Also they were both the same color.
Some buyers complained the scent faded after a day or two. That’s just how passive diffusers work. If the scent isn’t strong enough, it may be the quality of your oil. I’ve had great experiences with Plant Therapy. 3 drops & I smell it very strongly.
It is porous by nature – also part of how it works – so not surprised some say it leaked over time. I put it in a little glass candle holder.

This is exactly what I was looking for. I like to breathe in some oils before bed and I do a drop or 2 and put it right on the bed next to me and breathe it in. Perfect! It does change color and the whole thing absorbs the oil but that doesn’t bother me.
