My wife and I have only slept on this mattress for two nights so far but are very happy with it. I was a bit concerned because the shipping box was only 42″ high for a short queen mattress but the mattress expanded to queen and it fit perfectly.

I’m a larger person and sleep on my stomach or side. I have had problems sleeping in a bed for more then an hour I would wakeup with my hips hurting or my lower back. I’m happy to say I’m able to sleep for several hours and wakeup with ZERO pain with this mattress ,it’s soft enough for my bigger stomach , but yet has enough support and firm enough to not feel like I’m trying to sleep in a bed shaped like a banana. It expanded very fast. Money well spent.

So I will expand this review, but the one element I can answer now is the first lay-on impression.
I love a soft cloud like mattress. I also appreciate a supporting firm mattress that is pillow top. This is exactly what they desscribe it a medium firm. There is softness but not a cloud. For my purposes I’m going to add a 4″ feather topper to this and It should feel pretty much like 100% what I was hoping for. I have not yet found a bed off the shelf that lets me feel like I’m sleeping in a big marshmellow cloud. That’s my goal.
If you want a mattress that for at least 10 minutes (all I’ve laid on it so far) that give to you elbows, sholders, hips and other bumps in your body but still holds your body level and not sloping… this might be your number. For me this $300 bed with a $200 feather down pillow top will give me one of those $5000.00 nights sleep. That’s what I’m after. I’ll update this after a few nights.
UPDATE:
So let me talk about PLUSH. What does that mean exactly? I’ve laid on quite a number of PLUSH mattresses at stores and plush is subjective! This mattress is listed as plush, and it is as comfortable as many of the more expensive PLUSH mattresses I tried in stores, but it is still supportive (meanign firm before you sink in). As a person that slept on the cushy cloud like waterbeds of the 80s for 40 years, there is NO MATTRESS that matches the waterbed experiences of zero pressure points! With that said, this mattress comes with a nice soft pillow top but you still have the sensation of a firm mattress under that! I did add a Pillow Comforter Top to this mattress and this gives me at least 4″ of soft top (two inches on the mattress and two more in the pillow top). At this point I am sleeping cloud like and easily 80% to the comfort level of a waterbed! The mattress alone was not soft enough for me but with a quality thick pillowtop added, this is super COZY!
While you sink into a delightful snuggle bed, you are still kept level and not sagging like a hammock. If you are looking for the ultimate soft bed, consider this mattress and add a 2″ pillow top to it! For under $400 bucks you’ll have a setup that matches the $1500 super elite mattresses. At least that’s my take on it.

Very comfortable. I liked everything except mattress caused me to roll down to husband’s side if I got too close

I had a unique situation. My camper had a storage compartment under the foam pad that came with the camper. So they had to install a lightweight pad instead of a regular mattress that could be supported by the compartment door struts. This pad also had rounded corners to allow someone to walk around the bed. Since it was so thin, it was very uncomfortable. I first purchased a 6 inch gel foam topper and it was still uncomfortable. So I decided to replace the original pad and topper with this 11 inch Doze Queen Short. I measured my old round corner pad and it was close to a standard full length mattress. The Doze Queen Short mattress was shorter so I didn’t need to worry if it would fit. The Doze has somewhat of a rounded corner so that helps. I am very please with the fit and the room to walk around the bed. It inflated immediately to 11 inches. The pillow top bends in half and doesn’t bunch up like similar foam mattresses. I will update this review in a few months after we had more time to sleep on it.
Update: I have taken this mattress on several trips now and it performs great. Still more comfortable than the original mattress and foam topper and light enough to access the storage compartment under the bed. There are no signs of any imperfections as shown in other reviews.

I originally bought the 11” pillow top short queen to replace my RV mattress. I immediately loved it. We slept on it for 8 nights and my chronic back pain was so much better. As soon as we got home, my nightly pain returned so I decided to order the king size for my bedroom. The first mattress came and expanded perfectly in less than an hour. (We still waited 48 hrs to sleep on it.) The king size came and after 24 hours, it has still not expanded and is puffy in the middle and flat on the edges all the way around. Since I did have a good experience the first time, I assume this item is just defective and contacted Amazon. They were great about it. They are sending a specialty carrier to my home to pick it up, I don’t have to package it. They will take care of that, and the replacement is ordered. Due to my satisfaction with my first purchase, I’m giving it another chance. I will update when my replacement arrives in about 8-10 days. I do want to recognize Amazon customer service for making the return process of this huge item easy!
UPDATE: The replacement item only expanded to 10”, not 11. The pillow top remained flat, and this king size is not the same as the short queen we previously purchased. It’s definitely not comfortable. It’s much more firm. Can’t even tell there’s a pillow top. I’m not very happy, but luckily I saved my old mattress. I’ll probably move this one to the guest room and bring my old one back into my room until I can afford to buy a high quality bed. So overall, if you want a good RV mattress to replace those thin pads, the short queen was excellent, but I wouldn’t buy a king for your house.
