The packaging was sparse but adequate. Instructions and download of app were simple, and the app for these picked up on existing lights and added them so I could use one app for all my lights. The colors are vivid, and brightness is far greater than other bulbs multi-colored of this size. They also can respond to music and my nephew likes that feature in his room. I plan to buy more of them in the near future.

The pull chain mechanism for the light on my ceiling fan broke while in the “on” setting. So I thought a smart bulb would be an interesting way to work around that instead of buying a whole new ceiling fan.
The bulb was at full brightness and set to a cold “sunlight” tone when first installed. The instructions for which app to get and how to pair it with the bulb were fairly straightforward, though if you are not “savvy” with your smart phone’s settings and using apps you may struggle. (Be prepared to sign up for an account to use their smart-life app, this seems to be required with anything I get to integrate with my alexa device)
The app gives you control over on/off, brightness, color, and a few interesting settings such as syncing it to music (it uses your phone’s microphone, the bulb has no way to detect sound on its own, and it will also just respond to spoken conversation or any sound in the room), setting the bulb to a timer or a schedule, etc.
The instructions include how to go over to your Alexa app to link the smart life app to it so that Alexa can control the bulbs, it took a little while to sync but I was set up in under a minute. I am still learning what commands Alexa will accept for the bulb, as well as how Alexa interprets some of those commands. (Saying “Warm” to Alexa apparently means just dimming the light, rather than changing the light tone)
In some cases, I want my fan on, but not the light. While the bulb will remember what brightness and color it was set to if you turn the bulb off with the light switch rather than a command, it does not “remember” if you had it set to 0% or off while the light switch was on last. Meaning, the bulb will always come back on when I turn the fan on at the switch, even if I only wanted to -just- turn the fan on. I just have to tell alexa to turn the light off. Truly a minor inconvenience in my odd-ball use case, so this doesn’t really bother me. I could just as easily leave the switch on and only use the pull chain for the fan setting.
If you are going to be doing something similar but with a fan that has multiple bulbs, I’m pretty sure you could simply “group” the bulbs together with Alexa so that giving commands for the lights affects all of them at the same time. You can also refer to each bulb by their unique name, that you set, to have each bulb set to something different if you want to get creative.
Over all I am very happy with the results, and just hope these bulbs last a long time.

When we opened the product box, one of the bulbs had its insides rattling around inside the bulb. We did not attempt to use it out of concern of an electrical short. The other three bulbs worked fine. Getting them connected was a little finicky and required a couple of attempts but we did get three of the four bulbs working.
Thankfully, per the instructions I contacted my supplier, Amazon, and they arranged replacements. I hoped they would only replace the one bulb but, not surprisingly, they want to replace the entire package.
I will update this review with my experience with the replacement bulbs.
Update: Seller replaced defective product and all bulbs have worked as expected. I updated from 2 to 4 stars.

I liked that they work in my ceiling fan, they can be bright or soft, day color or warm color. It has all rainbow colors and it is easy to setup with Alexa.

When the package arrived all 4 bulbs were present. There was a hand written note on one of the 4 bulbs that said it was broken and didn’t work. Fortunately the bulb did actually work without any issue. I’m confused on why the package was opened in the first place and why the bulb was included in the package if it was “broken” and “doesn’t work”

Bought a few different brands of bulbs and these are by far the easiest to connect and most reliable brand out of the bunch.

I’d been having trouble finding smart lightbulbs that fit my ceiling fan and luckily these are perfect! However, with four lightbulbs, only two are usable. One wouldn’t connect while the others did, and the fourth bulb is dead, it won’t even turn on. I’ve tried it in different fans as well and nothing happens.
