I love have the color options in my ceiling fan now. The app is pretty cool, has lots of features. Works great with google assistant as mentioned. Definitely buying more for the rest of my house!

These are good lights. They setup easily and you can change the colors quickly. Only thing I suggest for DOGAIN is to add more features to their app. At the moment, you can only automate the lights to turn white. You cannot automate them all to turn any other color at the same time. You would have to go to each lightbulb and change it manually (in the app). Either way, these are great bulbs, I recommend them!

The bulbs are great but 6 months out, one has died and another is on the fritz. Starting to wonder if they will all actually last a year…

These worked great for a few months but slowly some of the bulbs would stop working and need to be reconnected. A year later some of them will no longer connect no matter what i do, and put on a strobe effect whenever they turn on. Honestly way more trouble and frustration than they are worth, we are going back to traditional bulbs.

I’ve purchased this brand twice and have had the same issues each time.. The bulbs connect easily and integrate with Alexa without a hitch.. until they decide to stop functioning..
Each time the issue starts with being non-responsive (with any apps). So then I go through the usual steps of deleting the device and trying to re-add.. which works for the first few times.. but the issue persists after a few days and eventually the bulb will not add back to the app.. I had to resort to not using any smart features at all..
Until this morning, when I go to turn on the lights and the bulb is completely dead.. doesn’t matter what lighting fixture its put on to.. which was frustrating because if I wanted a regular bulb, I would save the money and buy a regular bulb..

The bulb seems to dim about 50% from full brightness, which is too bright for my needs. After installing through the Smart Life app, the controls give you a range of whites from cool to warm. The range seems to be about 6000k (Walmart style lighting) to about 3500k (motel 6 check in desk). It’s missing the true warm and soft whites 2700k-3000k) that would emulate incandescent light that is pleasant for the eye. The supposed 16 million colors is kind of a joke. It has a color wheel in the app, but it seems to jump from color to color instead of fading. I’d be surprised if it had 16 colors. Multiply that by 50 stops of brightness (50% to 100%) and you’re still only at about 800 colors. A far cry from 16 mil.
What I like about this bulb is that it is the only bulb that is short enough to fit within the glass spheres in my fixture. At around 3.25 inches tall, it’s about a half inch shorter than any other bulb I could find. My globes fit a bulb at a max of 3.75” tall and this bulb works.
