This works for me but maybe not everyone… Read on and see what I mean.

I recommend this product.I have a CPAP and an over active mind. I didn’t get the CPAP till a few years back the only reason I bring this up is anyone knows it can be a challenge to sleep with just a CPAP much less an over active mind.I find the the breathing of the light and allowing myself to focus on the light and trying to match the breathing or pulsing of the light just allows me to relax, unfocus, and pass out. Just as the video portrays. Now of course nothing is without it’s flaws it takes a little bit to get use too but if you really give it a chance I think it will work on most people since I have owned I think there has been perhaps 2 night I didn’t fall asleep before the light went off. Those were just very trying nights in my life recently it can help you unfocus but only so much sometimes your brain will win.Things to know when you turn it on it will last 8 mins if you run your finger over the surface again it will last for 20 mins. I suggest this at first so you can get use to the product. I know some people have complained about the brightness but it is adjustable so just adjust to what works for you and set for 20 mins and give it a real college try before you decide it works for you or not.I love and take it will me everywhere as I travel a lot for work. There is a great travel case on Amazon as well if you want one here is the link.https://smile.amazon.com/gp/product/B079FH5BN5/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o04_s02?ie=UTF8&th=1 It’s simple, sturdy, and not too expensive. If you have any other questions just ask away. I really love this product as it has allowed me to get to sleep fast and I’d even wager to say it has improved my sleep as well by allowing me to go to sleep in such a relaxed state.

Sadly, just another useless insomnia gimmick

The idea behind this product seemed promising to me, but it fails miserably on implementation. One major problem is that the pace of the breathing (at the beginning of the cycle anyway) is faster than my normal breathing. So it slows your breathing down, but only after first speeding it up?? That seems rather pointless. I could feel my heart rate increasing as I tried to keep up with the pace of the breathing. It felt like instead of decreasing anxiety, it was making me more anxious. Also, the light circles on the ceiling were very diffuse (and my ceilings are of just average height) which made the pattern difficult to follow. This was still the case even after I put my glasses on (although if I had to wear my glasses to fall asleep that would not have been much help). And lastly, related I believe to the diffusion issue, is that the pattern goes dark for an uncomfortable period of time between the circle getting smaller and getting larger again – which is not conducive to establishing rhymic breathing. As a lifelong insomniac, I genuinely wanted this product to work and so I tried it many times over several nights thinking I could get the hang of it with some practice, but, because of the issues I explained above, it just did not work for me, and I am rather skeptical about it working for anyone. Note that the production quality on the videos on YouTube is a little too good to be believable – I think they are actually infomercials. I normally do not write reviews, but I feel a certain obligation to do so when I return a product that has been used, which I also normally would not do. And, I want my fellow insomniacs to have the complete picture before forking out any hard-earned money on this product, given that many, like me, are willing to spend anything for the promise of more restless sleep. My advice is to save your money.

Worth a shot. If it doesn’t help you sleep, it will at least help you quiet your mind.

I have struggled with insomnia for as long as I can remember, and I’ve tried just about every method and product available. Nothing has been 100 percent successful or consistent, but I have found the Dodow to be a very helpful tool — particularly if your sleep troubles arise from being unable to “turn off your brain.”Pros:- Affordable, one-time purchase- Small size, easily portable- No cords or accessories- A helpful guide to breathing and relaxation that doesn’t wake me up if I fall asleep before the guide is finished, unlike other CDs and apps.- An effective distractor from anxiety and overactive thought patterns- Two time settings that allow me to tailor my experience dependent upon my sleep needs.Cons:- The Dodow lights up an entire room, especially a room with light blocking curtains. I can still see some of the light through closed eyelids, even on the low light setting.-If you’re an anxious person, you may find yourself getting wound up if you can’t quite synchronize your breathing with the light. This is a mindset issue, not a product issue, but it is something to consider and reflect upon before you buy.-The light projects directly above the Dodow. Sitting on my night stand, the light projects decently far to the right from my head, meaning focusing on the light can be physically uncomfortable.I am not sure how well the Dodow helps me sleep, but it does help me to at least relax and quiet my mind. It is useful while I am trying to sleep and when I am trying to clear my head.As with any sleep remedy, the Dodow is not a cure-all, but it is a useful tool to keep in my toolbox.

So happy to be off sleeping pills!!

I would give this a 4.5 star if that were an option, because the only thing I dislike about the Dodow so far is getting it to aim on the ceiling where I can see it. When I put it on the nightstand the light just isn’t in the right spot. So I ended up putting it on my stomach, which works fine, although a little inconvenient. I haven’t found the light to be too bright, as some users have complained. The first night I found it very difficult to keep my mind on my breathing and took a sleeping pill for added insurance. The second night was easier and I fell asleep fairly quickly and slept well without a sleeping pill for the first time in years! Last night was my third night. I did the 20 minute cycle and kept dozing off before it ended. I’m getting better at concentrating on my breathing. I use the mental reminder “inhale, inhale, inhale, in” and “exhale, exhale, exhale, out” to help me. Last night it did take longer to fall asleep after the cycle completed, maybe because I had to wake up enough to put the unit on the nightstand. But once I was asleep I slept just as well as I did with a sleeping pill. I always needed something to help me get to sleep because I can’t seem to “shut my mind off” when it’s time to sleep. And once I do fall asleep I tend to wake up after 5 minutes or less and then it’s even harder to get back to sleep. That hasn’t happened yet using the Dodow. Most of all I hated how groggy I felt every morning when taking the pills(Unisom, in case you wondered). I had gone beyond that recommended dosage of 1 pill and was taking 2 pretty regularly. It would take me at least an hour every morning to feel like I was fully awake. This morning I awoke 5 minutes before the alarm went off!! It’s only been 3 nights, but I have high hopes that I’ll be able to continue to use the Dodow and not have to resort to Sominex again.

It’s worked like a charm for us!

My significant other and I both suffer from insomnia related to anxiety. You know the kind–where you lay in bed and things that happened 10 years ago haunt you into being wide awake. After over a week of both of us sleeping horribly, I was desperate. I’ll admit this was somewhat of an impulse buy. I saw it on a facebook video and decided I was so sleep deprived, it was worth a try because there was a free return and we were exhausted. After nearly a month of using it nightly, I have to admit that I am quite shocked at how well it works. We don’t use it nightly, just on nights we consider ourselves to be at risk for being wide awake all night, and each night we’ve used it, we’ve slept like absolute babies. Some pointers:**Take it for what it is. THIS IS NOT A CURE. It is essentially a distraction technique that helps you escape your thoughts through intentional breathing. It calms you and allows your body to fall into a natural sleep. It isn’t a magic cure and it requires dedication to the process. If you can’t commit to something like that, then this isn’t for you.**It is battery operated. If you’re an earth friendly household (like us), I would recommend simultaneously purchasing a set of rechargeable batteries.**It doesn’t work well when it’s directly against a wall (on a nightstand, for example). The light kind of gets distorted on the wall instead of projecting onto the ceiling. We have a bench on the end of the bed we put ours on that works just fine. A larger piece of furniture would also work, but something that sticks out atleast 2 feet from the wall is my recommendation.Hope this helps!!!

Worth Trying But Not For Me

I liked the idea of this product and wanted to try it out, but after giving it about 2 weeks, I decided to return it. One of my main problems with this product is my breathing does not in any way match up with how they designed it. Yes, I know it’s not like normal breathing, but the in-breath is far too long and the out-breath is too short. I have to basically hold my breath to match the in-breath and then there is no pause at the end of the out-breath. I can’t sustain this way of breathing for very long before I feel like I’m going to pass out (I don’t think that’s what is supposed to happen). Even after 20 minutes of trying to breathe in sync with this thing, I was still awake. Finally, I realized what I really wanted to do was close my eyes and go to sleep which doesn’t solely depend on a relaxed body. Having a relaxed body does not automatically put me to sleep. What this product needs in order to be useful is an ability to slow or quicken the speed of the in/out breath because not everyone breathes at the same rate depending on their age and health. Also, as I mentioned, there should be a pause after the out-breath. Lastly, I will mention that I am a meditator who has studied in and out breathing for over 10 years in my meditation so I know the breathing process well and what this product is trying to get me to do feels unnatural and not sustainable for very long. If I had some control over the cycle, it would be much more natural – there should only be maybe 3-5 deep breaths. After that, it should resume normal breathing. That’s not what this machine does. Maybe they will improve on this in the future by giving us more options so that we can use a rhythm that suits a variety of preferences instead of just one way of breathing.

Did absolutely nothing for my sleep. Returned item.

The device was clean, well packaged, and well marketed…it just didn’t do anything at all for my sleep. Firest the dimming and brightening of the LED’s seems out of sync with normal breathing because their should be some brief pause between inhaling and exhaling. Secondly, the design of the device shines the LED on the ceiling…meaning that you need to lay on your back to see it. I sleep on my side sop forcing myself into a back sleeping position to see the light was actually preventing me from going to sleep. Third, before returning the device, I tried adapting it to sleeping on my side by shining it on the wall. This wasn’t working because the device is round and just rolls out of position. Additionally, I didn’t really like that there is no reset to turn the device off. On one occasion, I got a call after triggering the device, but once you start the timer, the only option that I saw to start over was to wait for it to go off by itself. The positive thing I can say is that the refund was prompt.

The best thing I’ve ever purchased.

FINALLY, my child sleeps! My 10 year old has always been a poor sleeper, struggling to fall asleep and waking multiple times through the night. We know all about ‘sleep hygiene’ and ‘sleep windows’, etc. We’ve tried everything legal, but the issue has been intractable. Kiddo’s mind spins (anxiety perhaps) and sleep is elusive. A decade of this really takes a toll on a kid. The Dodow ad came across my FB feed and I thought ‘what the heck, might as well.’ I had the kiddo read all about the device, and kiddo was willing to give it a try.It arrived quickly, and we read through the instructions together. I let kiddo install the batteries and test it, to get ‘buy-in’. It took me about 20 minutes to get it set up in the bedroom, taking the time to get it in just the right location and adjust the nightlight and ambient lighting to make the room dark enough.Kiddo fell asleep the first night within 15 minutes. I peeked in around midnight and realized the room was utterly quiet. I hadn’t realized that Kiddo was also a noisy sleeper–lots of tossing and turning, heavy mouth breathing, even sleep-talking. I guess we’d just grown used to it. But that night was eerily quiet. Kiddo woke the next morning having slept through the entire night, maybe the 10th time ever. We’ve had it for 2 1/2 weeks now, and every night has been like the first. Kiddo falls asleep quickly each night, and sleeps straight through til morning most of the time. We traveled for the holidays, and I noticed the Dodow was the first thing Kiddo packed.I am so grateful for this device, the much-needed sleep it brings to my child, and the happy, smart, focused kid it gives me by day.

Definitely Helps … But a few quirky things about it.

I was surprised with how much this really helped but wanted to mention a few things that as a person prior to making a purchase might want to note:- The experience is different from what the video description shows as it isn’t a perfect circle with bands that get smaller and larger. It’s more of a fuzzy cloud-like blob that gets larger and a bit brighter (at least that’s what mine does … unless mine is defective?) Either way, it does help me but I was expecting something that was easier to concentrate on.- If your plan is that you’ll be putting it on the nightstand and it will be a comfortable location … you might want to rethink that. My nightstand is about 2 feet deep from the wall and even putting it on the very front edge of the nightstand still has me craning my neck backwards to see it. Instead, I had to put it on the floor about in the same horizontal location of where my waist is on the bed so that when you look up it’s a comfortable location to view. Problem is … that also places it in the exact location where your feet will hit when you swing them over before you get out of bed in the dark. Twice I stepped on it in that location on the floor (but I caught myself before putting too much pressure down and breaking it). My final workaround was to place it on top of a circular container of body lotion that I have that raises it up about 6 inches and makes it more noticeable to me when I get out of bed in the dark.- And finally, it is verrrrrry easy to turn it on by mistake. Just touching it to move it each morning off the floor and into my nightstand to get it out of the way seems to turn it on … and, unless i’m missing it in the directions, there is no way to turn it off without it completing its cycle. Just seems such a waste to the battery as this happens about 50% of the time that I try to move it … even with being cautious of trying to not touch the top of the unit. All of the above is not to dissuade you from purchasing … i gave it 4 stars because it’s honestly helped me quite a bit (especially when I wake up in the middle of the night and can’t get back to sleep). But for a product that is as expensive as this … I would have expected that creators could have offere some type of tilt function so that you could keep it on a nightstand and not have to figure out a way to get the light to shine in a comfortable position on the ceiling.

I decided to send it back.

The media could not be loaded.

so far it’s just, “meh”.second day:syncing my breathing with this device is difficult. But, I can tell that this device will help me slow down. Watching the light glow to match my breathing does reduce a lot of mental chatter. The lights are too unfocused. In the dead of night, the lowest light setting is still pretty bright. In the thick of the day, the brightest setting is pretty weak. It is uncomfortable to watch the light glob swell and decrease on the ceiling because the projected light is so unfocused. If the light had a sharp edge, like you get with a flashlight, it would be more comfortable to use.To resolve this issue, I folded bleached baking paper to make a cube that fits over the dodow. The light is concentrated inside the paper and makes watching the glow sequence easier. Making a “glow box” concentrates the light into an easy to see area that doesn’t light the entire room.Second evening:Syncing my breathing is still an effort but it turns my mind off. These pictures don’t show it, but this thing is bright in a dark room, even on the lowest setting. to reduce the brightness I ripped off a small piece of printing paper and placed it over the lights. Then, I placed the glow-box over the dodow and videotaped it for you.I haven’t used it for two nights in a row. Using this device feels like work. It has become something I avoid. Maybe if it cost $20, I would keep it around but it costs $60. Maybe the next version will be better. I wish nothing but the best for this company and their product;the Dodow simply became a chore I wanted to avoid.

    Mixed feelings about this product

I waited until I used this product for a week before reviewing it as I thought it might take me that long to get used to it. Results were mixed – In 4 of the 7 nights, I was still awake when the light went out, both at 8 and at 20 minutes and I ended up resorting to an Aleve PM. I will give it another few days and if my experience doesn’t improve, I will get rid of it. Amazon says it’s not eligible for return (If I had purchased it directly from the manufacturer, it would have been!)ADDENDUM TO ABOVE: when the seller read the review above, they contacted me to see if they could help. I explained the issue to them, they gave me suggestions which I am trying. I offer KUDOS to the seller – this was the 1st time in all the years I’ve been buying from Amazon that a seller contact me with helpful suggestions. So while Im still not sure about the product yet, I’m awarding the seller 5 start! To be continued.

    Relaxing when it works

I’ve used this for about 6 nights now and it’s very relaxing I fall to sleep with in 10-20 min. After it turns off. Which is very good for me. How ever I still wake up in middle of night and have a hard time going back to sleep. That being said I’m grateful for the sleep time I do get. My issue with the dodow is that it has froze up on me 4 times already, either not turning on or staying in lit mode but not breathing mode. Also I never have been able to get it to the brightness mode. So I have no idea if I’m on low, med or bright light. I have not yet decided yet if I’m going to return it, or exchange it.after 3 weeks I’m sending it back to many times it has froze in either off or the on setting. By the time I have to unscrew the back to reset the batteries I’m to irritated to sleep after to that. So not worth the frustration or the $65

It’s an overpriced glowing puck, but it actually works.

I bought this in a fit of late-night frustration. For the past couple months, I’ve been mysteriously waking up at 3 am every night and lying awake for over an hour, my head buzzing with thoughts about the day ahead. I tried medications, breathing exercises, reading boring books, exercise, nothing seemed to work. I was really reluctant to pay $60 for a silly glowing light puck, but it was either that or prescription sleeping pills, so I figured it was worth a shot: Either it works and it’s $60 well spent, or it doesn’t and I send it back.Well, it works. For the past week whenever I wake up at 3am, I reach over and touch the Dodow and time my breathing to the light. The need to focus and concentrate on the light consumes my thoughts and crowds out everything else I might be thinking, and effectively “bores” me to sleep. It doesn’t even take me eight minutes–within a couple minutes my eyes are droopy and I’m drifting out. Amazing, definitely a keeper.Caveat: The marketing makes it sound like the Dodow is some calming device that will gently lull you to sleep like a baby’s lullaby. It’s not. It feels like work. The light is somewhat harsh, and your eyes don’t want to look at it. But if you put in the work, if you focus, and if you really commit to timing your breaths and avoiding excessive thinking, it really does work. (Really, this is how all basic meditation works–the Dodow just gives you something visual to focus on.)

Not Returnable!! Do Not Buy!!! UPDATE CONTACTED BY SELLER

UPDATE: 1/10/23PROBABLY because they received so many bad reviews, I was contacted by the manufacturer and offered a refund today.Changing my review from 1 Star to 3 Stars. Why?Even though it didn’t work for me, I assume that the reviewers who had success are honest.Only giving them 2 stars back because I still had 1.5 months of $50 thrown away.It took long enough – but they finally did right by angry customers.Lucky for me I kept the original box.————————————-Original Review:1. This thing is a $60 pulsing blue light. That’s it.2. It just doesn’t help me fall asleep.3. It is not returnable. Why? Not sure – it’s not like you wear it. I assume it is because they know everyone would return it once they find out that it is completely useless.Amazon – you should not sell products like this that are not returnable.Reader – Don’t buy it. It’s a waste of money.

Overall good product, required my own special touches to make it work but your mileage may vary

Overall, a good product. I like that there was forethought put into finding alternate solutions to insomniacs and that’s what prompted me to go ahead and give it a try. I’m not sure it is a breakthrough in sleep technology or anything but rather an novel approach using techniques that many have used for decades with varying degrees of success. The ultimate goal here is to slow your breathing down in a regular and consistent manner and not to think about falling asleep. If you can distract yourself while accomplishing the first part, voila you’re golden.A few things that aren’t mentioned elsewhere that I could find that are probably good things to know.1. If you do not have flat ceilings in your bedroom this is going to be an issue. The ceilings in my bedroom are vaulted and so I had to come up with clever solutions on how to be able to see the lights.2. If you do not sleep on your back, this is going to be an issue. Ultimately, I ended up putting a hook on the wall and dangling the Dodow by its cord so that it was flush up against one wall so that it could project onto the opposite wall. Not ideal, but it works.I would recommend at least giving it a shot. The health benefits for regular sleep vastly outweigh the minor inconvenience I faced trying to get it to work to my specific requirements.

Clever promo ad, but a little underwhelmed

The concept behind DoDow seems rooted in science, and the engineering that went into this seems true to the facts around calming yourself and preparing your mind and body to sleep. I’m one of the millions of people who struggle every night to purge all of the worries and thoughts that occupy my mind before sleep. I’ve done everything wrong – from eating too close to bedtime to glaring at the seductive blue light of my cell phone and tablets to loud TV. I was excited to see this simple device on Amazon and with an open mind and ample curiosity, I purchased it. DoDow is elegently simple to operate and its minimalist instructions are welcome and perfect. My only beef so far is the resolution of the blue circle of light cast upon m eggshell white ceiling. The simple light intensity adjustment only serves to brighten what is a very fuzzy round circle. I just wish it had more definition because timing my breathing (inhales and exhales) requires that my brain and eyes see where the circle is at its smallest and biggest point. One other minor beef: For some reason, the pace of the dimming and brightening cycles seems too fast (or maybe I’m just breathing too slowly). I’m willing to give it a little more time, though. All that said, I am fascinated by this little device, and applaud the thinking and innovative spirit behind its creation. Seems like a lot of well-intentioned and very smart people were behind it.

All in all, I would absolutely recommend this product for those who are having trouble falling asleep and staying asleep.

I purchased this item after doing some research about how breathing can help calm you. I was having difficulty falling asleep and staying asleep. I really believe the philosophy that this tool is based on. Not only does it help you fall asleep, but it can put you in a deeper sleep, thus helping you stay asleep. When used correctly (doing the timed breathing for the entire duration), it absolutely helped me sleep through the night. That said, it is actually difficult to stay awake until the end of the predetermined time, perhaps stopping you from getting the optimum results. One issue I did have, having high ceilings, is that the light and its shape weren’t as sharp as I would have liked. I understand that it is not meant to be very bright, as it is meant to be subtle…But my opinion is that it would be easier to work with if I could see the increasing and decreasing size better. Sidenote: my husband did not seem to notice or to be bothered by the light in a dark room while he was sleeping.Aesthetically, it is pleasing and perfectly appropriate to sit on the nightstand from one night to the next. All in all, I would absolutely recommend this product for those who are having trouble falling asleep and staying asleep.

    Does this thing work? Why?

The Dedow sends a blue light to the ceiling; the light comes in regular pulses, gradually brightening and darkening in cycles. The length of each cycle diminishes over the session. The user is to breathe in with the brightening and to exhale as the light goes down. One’s breathing is seldom in synch when with the Dedow cycle session begins. Our breathing rates vary with age, weight, etc. So how can this fixed-interval device help everyone? It can’t. It works the way counting sheep might work; it’s a distraction tool. I think it will work when you are thinking about (for example) solving a routine workplace task; you probably won’t fall asleep if you are thinking about something difficult and important. Some of us are blessed to reside in a place dominated by a relaxed type of brain activity; the rest of us seem to be especially agitated at bedtime. (You would think we all vary quite a bit in this regard. But notice how the reviews are polarized.) You might as well try it. It was on sale when I bought mine — $30. So you might want to wait until after Xmas.

    This actually works!

I first saw this little device several months ago. I thought it could be useful for me as I often wake up in the middle of the night and can’t get back to sleep for hours. Well, after two nights in a row of not being able to get back to sleep, I broke down and bought this. I figured I could return it if it didn’t work. Well… it works. I have now used it several times both in the middle of the night when I can’t get back to sleep and also when I’m falling asleep initially. Every time, I was asleep by the end of the 8 minutes. It’s a very simple concept and I like this a lot because I like to meditate in general when I’m having trouble falling asleep. But just trying to meditate on my own doesn’t always work. This little light is a really nice guide to keep me centered and focused. I also like how it starts out with a more rapid breathing pattern and then slows you down so you relax. I don’t know, it’s so simple but for me it really works! If you are open to the concept of meditating to help you sleep then this is fantastic! You can dim or brighten the light and it has never bothered my husband, who is always asleep when I use this. I used it once when my son had crawled into bed with us in the middle of the night and it didn’t bother him when he was sleeping either. I don’t have to use this every night but it is wonderful when I do use it. It’s terrible to lie in bed for hours, exhausted but unable to fall asleep because your mind keeps wandering… This is the answer!

to use in the quest for a good night’s sleep

As a long time insomniac, I was hoping for more. I was warned that it was not a cure all and I tried to keep my expectations low. I think it is an adjunct to use in the quest for a good night’s sleep. I really like the idea and the blue light is very pleasant. My only complaint is that the frequency of going on and off is not what I like. That is, it would be nice if I could slow it down. I like to really slow my breathing and I feel like the Dodow is keeping my pace a little faster than I like. I also would like the stages to last longer so I can breathe deep and hold my breath in longer. Maybe I have big lungs or ride my bike too much, but the Dodow breathes too fast for me.In the general realm of sleep hygiene, avoiding caffeine after noon, keeping a sleep “debt,” getting up and going to bed at the same time, and trying to meditate or relax, I think it is a good assistance device. I certainly support and appreciate the people who have made it and are trying to improve the lot of the sleepless insomniacs in the world.

Dodow did not work for me.

Dodow did not work for me. First off, I am a side sleeper and it says to lay on your back anyway and then at the last moment before falling asleep to turn on your side. Secondly, I have dry eyes, so laying on my back staring at the ceiling is uncomfortable for me and requires me to blink therefore loosing step with the light pattern. Third, it was hard to match my breathing with the light pattern. Initially the pattern is too quick then after a little bit it becomes too slow. I have used it now for almost three weeks and do not feel it was worth the $60 I paid. I was concerned with the high price to start with but figured if it worked it would be worth it. Then when I decide to return it to Amazon I find out this product is not returnable. If I had known that to start with I would never have bought it. The only positive thing that I have to say is that concentrating on breathing while mentally reciting Inhale / Exhale does clear my mind of circular thoughts. I do not recommend this product!

Helpful in getting one to fall asleep

I am struggling with a long term insomnia, and I haven’t been able to find anything that is not harmful and that works consistently.I found Dodow pretty helpful at least 70% of the time. I am surprised how well it makes you drowsy in a short time. I find that putting the light at the mid body level, rather than at the level of one’s head, is much better, because than you look at a ceiling at an angle where your eyes are half way closed, rather than looking up, because looking up keeps you awake. The product is a good concept. I would have preferred a muted green light, or to be able to choose your light color.

    Did not work for me

I ordered this on the basis of a recommendation from my granddaughter. I found the rhythm of the dimming to be too fast for my preference for “slow breathing.” Although it gets good reviews from others, I did not find it to be effective for me.

    I love my “Blue Moonbeam”

I was excited to get the Dodow sleep device. I am definitely a gadget lover! I have been using some type of sleep enhancer for many years. I am intrigued by anything that will induce sleep without taking pills. I have had my unit for a couple months. When I received my unit I found it very calming and I like the way it makes me conscious of deep breathing which seems to help me stay asleep longer. I usually don’t have trouble falling asleep when first going to bed, but rather staying asleep or falling back to sleep after waking. At that time when I try to keep my eyes open to focus on the blue light on the ceiling (which I call a moombeam) to try to get back to sleep, I have difficulty keeping my eyes open to focus on the “blue moonbeam” which helps me fall back to sleep. I find I fall back to sleep before the light turns itself off. I would recommend this device to anyone looking for sleep enhancers. It is a tidy, inexpensive, easy to pack when traveling, unobtrusive unit to have on the bedside table, and though it may not be a miracle, I think it is definitely worth purchasing.

    Helped me fall asleep sooner

I found this did help me fall asleep sooner, but still often awoke frequently during the night. Fair to say this is not an issue that Dodow truly focuses on. I’ve only used this about 1 1/2 weeks, so that may change. I only gave this four stars because I found blue light on the unit itself was distracting in my peripheral eyesight. I moved the unit over to dresser on wall opposite foot of bed, and problem solved. I just tap the unit to start as I’m getting into bed. Still say this is a very helpful gadget overall and does make me sleepy.

    It’s a Start but not perfected….

I can understand the science behind this creation of a meditative remedy for treatment for all of us insomniac types, which are about everyone in the last year of survival mode during COVID. But the transition of the fade is much too fast for anyone that is trying to attempt a normal sleep pattern. The rate of light fade transition to follow, this is close to panting, and for myself, it is just not achievable to attempt to breath rhythmically at the rate of speed it attempts to lead the individual in therapy session. It seems close to causing someone to hyperventilate, and yes, I suppose, passing out if one method of relaxation, doink…!But, what is the point, obviously not the intention of the treatment. I have seen a very good special on DW News (Deutschland World News on YouTube, Great Documentary Channel BTW), which discussed the Science they this device purports to convey, this very product during a very interesting Sleep Studies Hour Episode, thus my interest in this matter of sleep therapy. Unfortunately, this device for ME, just is not practical, that at a huffing and puffing as it attempts to evoke during it’s therapy process. This is just not a realistic breathing pace, and yes, as discussed on prior reviews, the light is straight up and not OVER One’s Bed…So….Sigh, I wanted to Love this but just cannot achieve the purposed outcome. Back to Melatonin Gummy Bears, and occasional Ambien…..sniff…!!

Can help you, but simple breathing techniques is what does best

This device CAN help, but it is not the do all and end all product to end sleep problems. I do like the soothing light, and matching your breathing to it is a good way to get your body to relax. Honestly, this can be done easily just by regulating your breathing. I found the advertising a bit too over the top for my liking. Sleep issues are complex. What may be a solution for one won’t be good for all. If you have sleep issues, consult a doctor as lack of proper sleep can lead to serious health issues. My advice, beyond consulting a physician for sleep issues is to attack it on a number of fronts – remove stimuli from the bedroom, avoid computer use for an hour before bedtime – or get Blue Blocking computer glasses to help you. (these are available on Amazon). The best thing this product does is HELP you in matching your breathing to the light. If you aren’t practiced in meditation techniques this item can help you.

    Sound Principles, Easy to Use

I have a five year old who doesn’t sleep. I’m willing to try anything. When I saw the Dodow, I thought, “Why not?” Here’s what I found. As soon as Dodow arrived, I opened it and began reading the literature. It was a short, easy read. The idea of Dodow is great, and I understand why it should (I’ll get to that later) work. The usage instructions are easy to follow, so I dove in.Now my five year old doesn’t sleep. He doesn’t want to sleep, afraid he’ll miss something, I suppose. I tried convincing him this was a game, but he’s far too smart for me. He doesn’t want to sleep, and he wasn’t going to focus on a pulsating blue light to help it happen. I give up. We may never sleep again.Bottom line, while this didn’t work for my five year old, I still highly recommend giving this a shot, if you understand the importance of and want to sleep. The principles seem sound, the instructions are easy to follow, and the Dodow is easy to use.

This thing is pretty much garbage

This thing is kind of dumb. It might work for some people, but definitely not me! And it’s HORRIBLY overpriced. I thought it would work well because of the price. Wrong! It’s a hunk of plastic with a blue light that fades in and out. Overall, it’s a great idea, but WAY off. They claim that they’ve done tons of research with phycologists/sleep experts, etc., which is how they came up with the timing. IT’S WAY OFF! I’m not sure they even tested it. The inhale part is great, but the exhale part only gives you a split second. Also, there’s no way to control it. No settings, nothing. They thought this “ONE”, unchangeable setting would be perfect for every human. It is relaxing, which is why I’m giving it 2 stars. But it doesn’t work overall. And, I like to wear a sleeping mask as well. (Can’t do that with this product) Also, you need like “the perfect” spot to put this. (You’d think your nightstand would be great, but it’s not.) If you do that, the light ends up partially on the ceiling, and mostly on the vertical wall behind you. Overall, lame. Needs improvements, extra features, programable settings, and a much lower price point. Thanks for reading.

    Prefer orange light versus blue

I gave this 3 stars, because it was good concept. There was a big flaw, however, that prompted my husband and I to return this. The blue light. In the evening/night, we like to avoid blue light, and we even have blue light blocking glasses (orange) that we wear before bedtime. It’s best to avoid blue light because blue light suppresses melatonin. To be able to wear those orange glasses and then go to bed, only to see the blue light from the Dodow, wasn’t very sleep-friendly to me and my husband. I know it says that the “soft blue light” from the Dodow is a brightness < 1 lux and "allows your body to relax, without inhibiting melatonin production." But why couldn't they just made this with an orange light? A warm light? Also, I would "wind down" closing my eyes, listening to relaxing sleep promoting music while doing yoga poses, and then only to go to bed keeping my eyes open as I viewed the Dodow lights. It just didn't work for us. 10 people found this helpful

Small, portable, works well, but could use some updates

First off, I was so so so excited that the batteries came in the package!!!! For that alone, you got 3 stars! No one does that anymore and I was so happy I could use it right away!…To the nitty gritty….I do think that this has been helping me sleep, but was thinking about ways you could do small updates to make a HUGE difference!1. Add a stand on the back that moves any direction, but will hold the device up, so people who sleep on their sides get a better benefit.2. Have the lights make more of a ring instead of just a circle so you can visually see the ring getting bigger and smaller.3. This is if you want to get super fancy and add some soft white noise options, like a fan, waves, meditation music, ECT.But overall I do like it! And I would definitely recommend it to my friends! If you ever do the upgrades keep me in mind and send me a free one! 😂

It seems improbable, but this actually works!

I was shocked that this actually worked. My husband purchased it for me for Christmas. I’ve had terrible stress related insomnia for almost 2 years. When I opened it, I honestly thought it was a scam. It seemed too simple to be real. It worked the first time I used it. The directions were very helpful. They state that you are not to attempt to block out thoughts, but watch the light and breathe accordingly. My experience is this. I turn it on and begin timing my breathing acording to the light pattern. I feel wide awake. After awhile the light begins to almost bother my eyes, not in a painful or even irritating way, it just becomes harder to keep them open. Pretty soon I find myself going in and out until finally I fall asleep. It usually takes less than 20 minutes for me to fall completely out. Every once in awhile, I have to turn it back on for an extra cycle, but it has always worked. I sleep well after initially falling asleep, although there have been times where I have woken up in the night and have had to use it again. Also, it’s worth noting that I sleep on my stomach and thought it would be unlikely I’d be able to fall asleep on my back, but I do. We’ve purchased this for a friend that experiences simaler insomnia and it worked for him as well. I highly recommend trying it.

    works, but not perfectly

The unit seemed to function marginally well upon arrival, but the light was ridiculously bright and not relaxing at all. I attempted many times to adjust the brightness but nothing changed. It didn’t help at ALL in relaxing and falling asleep so I put the device away for several months. Then after a few months passed I thought I would take it back out and try again, but the device was completely unresponsive.UPDATE: I received a reply within 1 business day from customer service and learned that I was trying to unscrew the battery case when all I actually needed to do was align the slot on the cover vertically to remove it and change the batteries.I’ve been able to successfully change batteries and the unit is now operational , however I am still unable to adjust the brightness, even with the help of customer support.

    It really works!

I’ve been telling all my friends and relatives who suffer from insomnia about Dodow, so it’s only right that I should share my feelings with other prospective users. Diagnosed with both sleep apnea and insomnia three years ago after almost two decades of 2 or 3 hours of sleep or no sleep at all, I finally got more sleep with less waking up when I started using a CPAP machine. However my insomnia – not being able to shut off my brain long enough to fall asleep – didn’t improve much, and a few weeks ago, after two full nights of lying awake the whole night, I went to Amazon looking for sleep aids. I found the Dodow, ordered it and it arrived in two days. I couldn’t believe I fell asleep in less than eight minutes! I will say that since then I have had both nights like the first one and other nights where it takes the full twenty minutes. If I wake up, as I often do, and think I might not get back to sleep quickly, I just touch the button again and it works: I get back to sleep. I can’t express my appreciation for how well I feel after a good night’s sleep! Concentrating on breathing with the light helps my brain not be able to think of other things and images. Thank you whomever made this product available. It’s worth every cent!

    Sleep eludes me

So far for three days since receiving the Dodow it has, indeed, helped me to get to sleep. My biggest problem has been at the beginning of bedtime. My brain goes into hyper drive and sleep eludes me. I don’t know if it’s actually working or dumb luck so far. That’s the reason I gave it four stars. So far this is a God-send

I’m almost afraid to write this review because it’s so good. I bought this for my husband who could not go to sleep unless the TV was on, and of course I can’t fall asleep when it’s on so it was a constant wait till he’s asleep so I can turn it off then I can go to sleep – not healthy.I saw this thing on here and decided to give it a shot. I got it for him for his birthday and he was excited to try it cause it’s been a struggle for him too. It’s only been a few nights of him using it, but so far he is out in about 5 minutes. the first night he used it he turned it on, followed it for a few minutes then turned it off and closed his eyes and was out, the next night he fell asleep before it timed out and was sound asleep – I had to check cause I heard him roll over and saw the light still going and thought no way! but sure enough he was sound asleepHe’s also had trouble staying asleep at times as well, and so far he hasn’t woken up during the night that he’s told me about.I will try to update this when he’s been using it longer

    Multiple Uses

This little machine really works. I’ve been meditating daily for decades, and use meditation for everything from stress to pain control. Been having some trouble sleeping lately, so I purchased the Dodow. It really helps to bring your attention into your breathing, to help calm your mind AND your body. As a long-time meditation expert, I found that the vibration of the blue light was a little fast for me (my breathing tends to be slower) so I simply adjust my breathing as needed .. for me, every 2 rounds of light works well. Basically, it helps to bring my attention inward and to let go of the daily stress that prevents you from falling asleep. However … this little magic box also helps me in my daily mediation practice on the days when getting centered seems more difficult. I face it against a wall, and use it as a visual guide to center my breathing. It really works as a great “breathing” reminder! And while the blue light could be a little brighter, I’m guessing that after a certain amount of time you’d no longer need the light to fall asleep .. all you’d need to do is just breathe. : ) Thanks, Dodow, for helping make life more relaxing!

Great idea but wish the speed could be altered for individual breathing paces.

I was very intrigued by this product as I have a hard time shutting off my thoughts and going to sleep. I did however, buy this for my 80+ year old mom who has a horrible time falling asleep. I would love to give this 5 stars but am not completely sold on a few things. I tried this out before giving to her and these were my complaints: the breathing time is way too fast for my breathing, and the light doesn’t work really well if you have a vaulted or tray ceiling – meaning its not really over where you sleep. It the light could be formed in a wider angle and the speed to which the light comes on and off could be altered, these would make it a 5 star. Although my mom, the receiver of this gift is not completely sold either, we continue to use it in hopes that it will help us shut off the clutter of the day and fall and stay asleep.

    Helps me

The media could not be loaded.

I dont have an issue falling asleep at the beginning of the night. My issue is waking up at 3am and contimplating lifes every moment until my alarm goes off. I dont like taking meds for this that leave me sp groggy in the morning. I’ve done all the things from diffusing oils on down so why not this.So simple but it does work especially when you read instructions. I admit for some time I wondered why I was just staring at the blue light. When I finally read about the breathing it all made sense. And I will say this does work for me.I would love it to be directional though but I can easily situate it where I can be the side sleaper I am and use this product. So if you have trouble getting to sleep or getting back to sleep and looking for a simple way that doesnt involves digesting anything give it a go.

    Great in theory…

Great in theory, not in practice. I was really excited to try this with my sleep deprived 10 year old and possibly myself (having a lifetime of insomnia), but it didn’t work well. It’s a great idea, but some areas need to be sorely addressed. The tactile top is difficult to deal with. Sometimes it picks up two taps, other times it does not. My daughter needed the 20 minute setting repeatedly, but had a hard time telling whether or not the device had detected two taps versus one at 2am. If you don’t fall asleep in the first 20 minutes, you need to completely start over, with quicker breaths. That doesn’t work well once you are in a relaxed state and just need a little more to get you to sleep. Couple more suggestions, give the consumer a cradle to prop the device up on. If your nightstand is in a corner, or against a wall, the light gets crammed into the adjacent wall. Being able to angle it a little bit would allow some control as to where the light is located on the ceiling. I also have doubts about using blue, since it’s contraindicated for sleep. I would have overlooked that if it wasn’t so difficult to control. Still, an amber hue would be nicer. We’re returning it.

    Surprisingly Effective

At first I was skeptical of this item, as $60 isn’t some cheap amount to throw down on a basically a blinking light.BUT let me tell you…this has allow my husband to fall asleep in 8 minutes! And has yet to fail. My husband has a very high stress-demanding job and sleep comes in very small compact times so getting to sleep quickly is key. He’s been taking melatonin for years as he can’t take heavier sleep aids as he may be required to wake up and work at a moments notice. So as you would imagine getting his brain to turn off and unwind to get to sleep is very difficult. This little device does just that, allows him to focus on something else while slowing his breathing and putting him right to sleep. While I believe $60 is a little steep there is NO amount that I wouldn’t pay to help him fall asleep faster. So well worth the price. I would also recommend this for someone who uses the TV playing to fall asleep as the principle is the same, using a background sound/image/noise to focus on to slow your mind down and not nearly as distracting for your partner. If you know someone struggling to get to sleep I highly recommend trying the Dodow, it’s well worth a try.

    A creative and innovative product

For over three years I have suffered from insomnia due to chronic pain. I have tried every medication and natural supplement, every modality such as PT, massage, cannabis (yay for living in a legal state), meditation, yoga. Nothing has worked.I’ve been using this product for a month now. I notice that it is more likely to work for me if I go to bed very early and I have to tap through at least 2 cycles. It’s a very creative and innovative way to initiate relaxation. My only issue with this product is that it causes me to hyperventilate. I am unsure if that is its intended purpose, but I get frustrated sometimes (those are the nights that it does not work at all). It feels as if I don’t have enough time to expel my out-breath; it rushes me on to inhaling again and I’m just not ready.

A natural way to quiet my mind and prepare to sleep

I’ve been going through a particularly bad few weeks of insomnia lately, sometimes not falling asleep until 3:00 or 4:00 in the morning. Not ideal when I have work the next day! I decided to try Dodow to try to sleep earlier and using the slowly pulsing light to time my breathing has been a great success for me. It seems like such a little thing, but the shorter program is just enough to quiet my mind a bit and start really winding down, without the use of medications. I know I’ll be bringing this up to my sleep doctor at my next appointment for sure, since I’m sure my fellow insomniacs will find it useful. My one complaint is more to do with my eyes than the device — my vision is especially bad, and so with my glasses off and our high ceilings, it can be a little tough to see the changes in the light, even on the high brightness. But it is easy enough to tell when it gets lighter and darker, so I get the effect of it. I may try moving the device around a bit in the future to see how much of a difference it makes, but for now, I’m glad I decided to include Dodow in my nightly routine.

    Simple and effective sleep aid

I bought this for my elderly mother who often was waking up in the middle of the night and not getting back to sleep. This seemed to really help her. It’s based on the science of how our bodies relax so it can help you get to sleep. I now have one for myself and my kids to use when we have trouble getting to sleep. It’s small and simple enough that we traveled with it as well to help with sleep disrupted by jet lag.

It works for its intended purpose. Made me a normal sleeper again.

This device has helped me fall asleep every night. Nowadays I don’t even use it regularly anymore and I now only use it ocassionally whenever I’m feeling a bit anxious or stressed out. You have to understand how this device works so you could appreciate it.1. It will not put you to sleep. It brings you to a relaxed state, where the body is ready to sleep. Then after the session you go to sleep. I see reviews asking “how will that put me to sleep when my eyes are wide open?” or “I’m a side sleeper I can’t see the light on the ceiling.” Folks you are misunderstanding how the product is supposed to work.2. This device has nothing to do with Circadian rhythms. I see a lot of people comment that the blue light is bad for sleep. But this device does not target the Circadian component of sleep. This is a relaxation device. If your sleep issue is due to stress/anxiety then this device will help you a lot. If your sleep issue is because of DSPD or some other disorder then it may not help you at all. My sleep issues were caused by anxiety and I was unable to relax, so this device worked for me.

The Dodow has been life changing for me.

I have suffered from insomnia for as long as I can remember. I am 62. 10 years ago I gave up and started taking medication to help me sleep. Even with the meds, sleep is never something I can count on on a daily basis. Enter the Dodow. It’s amazing and wonderful and life changing. I don’t understand how it works.. I don’t care how it works, I am just so happy that it does. Now, when I am ready to go to sleep, I get comfortable in bed and then turn out the light and turn on the Dodow and I am asleep in 5 minutes… 5 minutes. I have spent most of my life dreading bed time and the insomnia associated with it. I had given up. I actually bought this for my daughter who who sadly is also an insomniac. But they had a better deal if you bought two so I ordered one for me too. My daughter is having great results with it as well. I have more energy now and my husband says I am a nicer person. Hmm.I am sure this will not work so dramatically for everyone but if you suffer nightly, this is definitely worth a try.

    It works for me!

It’s easy to use, and it does what it promises. By focusing on the light and my breathing, i find I’m ignoring those little thoughts that can keep me awake for hours wondering “what if” or “maybe I should…” and, instead, letting my mind chill out — allowing me to fall asleep much sooner. It’s an easy way to refocus, a healthy way to get a full night’s sleep.

Helps dropping into slumber but doesn’t help much with repeated waking through the night

I’ve had longterm issues falling asleep and staying asleep for over 40 years. Needless to say, i’ve tried virtually every suggestion and remedy, to no avail. So I approached my dodow with some skepticism, preparing to be disappointed yet again. It took nearly a week of regular usage, but i am happy to report mostly success with the device. The mental focus required to synchronize breathing with the waxing and waning of the light is just enough to help quiet my monkey brain and drop off to sleep. Dodow has not completely solved my frustrating sleepless nights, as i continue to wake up several times a night, usually the first time about 20 minutes after first going to sleep. I’m hoping that continued usage throughout the night as needed will eventually train my brain and result in longer stretches of uninterrupted sleep.

    This is an amazing device!

Wow! so simple in design, yet it works wonders. I was skeptical at first, but said I would give it a couple weeks. As it turns out, I only needed one night to prove it to myself. After only about 20 breathing cycles, I dozed off. I had been using melatonin and other OTC sleep aids. I got rid of them immediately. Also, now that I am sleeping the whole night, I am able to exercise more and sleep even better. If I wake up in the middle of the night, I can simply reach over, tap the device, and head back to dreaming. My wife never even notices the subtle blue light. I cannot recommend this product enough!

    It calms your brain down

I have a hard time sleeping because of the chatter in my brain. This product does not put you to sleep, but it calms your brain down so eventually you can sleep.

    Sadly very dissappointed

Very Fast shipping at least, Read reviews, we were really hoping this DODO sleep device would be help in my sleep insomnia, but was sadly very dissappointed.Carefully Read thru all the tips & proper breathing info, but after 3 plus weeks, this has never really worked for myself nor my wife.As others have said, even though try not to look at directly, the blue light & hue, seems to keep me up and awake, just not very relaxing to us at all. Also not impressed at all with the tapping design, is terrible, sometimes works , many times it does not, also hard to use light dimmer, as it keeps turningThe device off, many times when thought device was selected to stay on longer, it many times turns off too early, no viewable settings to really know, if itIs in the desired setting, many times difficult to turn on, or off. Poorly designed, not user friendly. Again we wasted many nights testing device in various ways or breathing etc, just too much frustration, and hardly any sleep help or results at all.Even though , this may have worked for some, we cannot see how this really works to help sleep, it did nothing for us, we slept better before all the frustration & hassles of this device.

    Liked it-but….

I do NOT sleep. Willing to try just about anything, this piqued my interest. It works on the principal of relaxation by mindfully breathing. Ok, I get this. It IS soothing. It is, well, fun to use. I can’t honestly say it put me to sleep, but it definitely made me RELAX so I could go to sleep. Why not five stars? Well, my ceilings are vaulted and ‘slanted’ (for lack of a better word) so i had to get creative about how to use this. It took a lot of work at first; cat didn’t appreciate it on his back so I placed on my stomach. On sleeping husband’s back. Me on my side; Dodow on the wall. If it had only worked a little brighter on my high ceilings, I’d have been uber happy. But all in all, I like it. Let my 10 year old scared-of-the-dark grandson use it and he loved it. 🙂

    Works as advertised

Recommended to me by a family member who has horrible insomnia and said it’s the only thing that works for her. My mind, too, reels around at bedtime, but I don’t like to ingest sleep aids, so thought I’d try the Dodow. Concentrating on the blue light and breathing does replace my whirling thoughts and allows me to fall to sleep. I’ve usually put it on my chest so the light is projected straight above me on the ceiling. Then I either fall asleep with it still on my chest (no big deal), or have to put it on the nightstand. I haven’t gotten it to project where I want it when it’s on the nightstand next to the bed, but may need to play around with that a little more (reason for 4 stars). It’s certainly something to put in your sleep tool box!

A simple and effective sleep aid!

I’ve only used the Dodow for a couple of weeks, but it is definitely an effective and simple sleep aid for me. I have been a lifelong insomniac, and I only realized in the last year that my anxiety plays a big part in my lack of sleep. I learned that controlled breathing eased my anxiety and allowed me to fall asleep. However, I found myself focusing so much on counting out breaths that it wasn’t as easy or effective as it could have been.Enter the Dodow, a perfect tool to make proper breathing techniques simple and effective! I did find that the breathing pattern in the beginning of the 8-minute setting is faster than I typically breathe. It isn’t really an issue though, I just breathe normally until it gets to my pace and then follow it from there. (One of the things that is great about it, is that it gradually slows the pace of your breathing.) By the last minute of the cycle, I find that I’m wanting to close my eyes each time the light dims. And once the cycle ends, I roll over and fall asleep. Going from awake to rolling over and closing my eyes to sleep in about ten minutes is nothing short of amazing.

Works as designed, placement is my issue

I like what this does and how it works. It makes me concentrate and focus on one thing rather than my thoughts going everywhere. Do I think it makes me go to sleep faster? Not really, it depends on how stressful my day has been. My only issue is the placement — I have angled ceilings so the projection is a little off and if feels like I have to tilt my head or open my eyes wide, which defeats the purpose of focusing and relaxing. it is great if I place it on my stomach or near my body on the bed, it is positioned better to watch. so, if there was an adjustable projection, that would make it 4-5 stars for me

Very pleased and happy with this item

I ,like many insomniacs will try anything for a decent nights sleep. I have bought most of them and unfortunatley none have worked. I even bought that expensive Phil… S. sleep watch ( can’t say the name ) that did not do one single thing and I used it religiously. . It was uncomfortable and bothersome. . I have purchased a knitted hat with little wires inside and that was a joke and warm to boot. Im not even sure what that was suppose to do .I do NOT take any Rx medication but have used OTC stuff before. When I read about this little sllep aid, I thought why not give it a try. It arrived quickly and like others have commented , packaged nicely. It is small enough to take up very little room on your night table. I find it reassuring to having it there when I feel like I need som help falling asleep. It is excellent for learning to focus and control your breathing. It is relatively inexpensive and all I can say is GIVE IT A TRY. After all the other things out there this is my favorite. An excellent company and some informative videos on Youtube.

    It works!!!!

This sleep aid device immediately piqued my interest when I came across it on Amazon. My husband & I both have mild insomnia at least once- twice a week. I especially have trouble falling asleep, so I was looking for something that would aid me falling asleep faster.I’m so glad I tried this device. At first, while reading the instructions I was a little unsure how breathing and looking at a light would help me, but don’t knock it until you try it! Once I got the hang of the breathing techniques over a few days, I began to fall asleep faster and much easier than I have previous to using this device. The instructions are clear and well written and I had no trouble understanding the technique needed to accomplish satisfactory sleep results. My husband has seen a decrease in his mild insomnia as well, and I’ve noticed a decrease in his snoring as well(although this device makes no claim of helping with snoring).I am now a firm believer in this product and look forward to many more restful nights because of it.I highly recommend this to anybody who has trouble falling asleep.
