I got this for my 11 yr old daughter. I love it, and more importantly she loves it! It is so much nicer then a regular pillow- it has a substance to it, that makes it very cuddly. It feels like you are given a hug back. It’s wonderful!

I have bought 3 of these on different occasions plus other items from Demdaco. The heart pillow is a comforting gift for those who are terminally ill, fighting to get better or just because you love & care for someone. It is extremely well made and very impressive looking. You should also check out Demdaco’s other items. I bought a beautiful heart with key. You use the key to prop up the heart. ♥️

The pillow itself is beautiful but it was sent in a flimsy plastic mailer so of course the gift box arrived damaged (bent and torn.) Christmas was coming quickly so I didn’t have time to get a replacement sent out. Also, I was surprised when my mom said she couldn’t use it because it was “too heavy.” (A pillow too heavy?) The title should mention that this is a weighted pillow. VERY heavy, for a pillow. Other than that, it’s absolutely beautiful! So soft and special looking. A sweet gift.

Got this for my daughter when she left for college. It’s comfortable to snuggle with, can use as a pillow if you’re reading and need an extra lift. It’s pretty comforting to hold on to while sleeping. The fabric is not soft but I don’t think it’s rough either. Just feels like a sweater. The way I wash is put it in a pillow case with a hair rubber band around it the opening of the case, also dry it that way. I’ve never had any problems, holds up fine. We have had for 2 years now. Makes a nice decoration for bed among other bed pillows. I don’t know that I would gift to a young child, it may snag easily but if they don’t play with it and just use it to snuggle with it then go for it, it’s nice and thick and comes with a nice poem and gift box.

I purchased this pillow based on all the rave reviews about it, but am sadly left feeling disappointed. Yes, it’s a sweet little pillow that is soft but it’s quite small and is NOTHING like a hug – which it is touted to be. It would be a good size for a child and perhaps if it was bigger it would give me the feeling of a lovely hug, but not this little pillow I’m afraid.
