This small light is brighter than any other daylight lamp I have (I have 4). The folding feature protects the light display and it is very light and portable. Only had it a day, but so far it has exceeded expectations.

This little light is amazing. Compact, super bright (with options to slightly dim), and flexibility for plugging in via USB or regular electric socket. I have a larger light permanently installed in my bathroom, but was looking for something to use while travelling in winter months. The instructions and warnings show that the makers of this product understand light therapy. Also, it won’t blind anyone around me. When it’s on, and I was viewing it from the side, I thought, “hunh, that doesn’t seem bright enough.” But that changed when I sat in front of it! The lights are well focused. So glad I found this before an upcoming business trip.

The pros: This light is SO bright and powerful. It’s nicely designed to collapse down and open back up. It made an ENORMOUS difference in my energy level and quickly became an absolutely necessary part of my day. It did not give me migraines, unlike some other lights I have used (though, to be fair, I only aimed it directly at myself a few times; since I am prone to migraines, I’ve been using it pointing away from me per my doctor’s suggestion – however, other light therapy lights have brought on migraines with a single use of it aimed directly at myself, and I was able to use this one that way several times). It’s bright, it’s cute, it’s easy to bring along.
The con: The on/off switch mechanism is completely perplexing to me. I honestly still don’t understand whether you’re supposed to have to push on the back on the light, or just touch there to turn it on, because I usually had to manhandle it, coax it, poke it, turn it side to side, and talk to it before it would turn on. From day one, that mechanism was glitchy: it wouldn’t turn on at all, and then finally it would, and then from time to time it would start cycling itself through its power settings without me touching or moving it at all, shutting itself off and turning back on randomly. I have seen other reviews complaining of this same problem, so I don’t think it was an isolated incident. Eventually, the lamp just stopped turning on altogether, at which point now I’ll be returning it for a replacement. The lamp is so good I’m willing to give it another go and see if the next one works better.

Great little lamp, with 3 light levels. Sits on my armchair perfectly. But the end of the cord broke so had to buy a new one , so took off one star, but it’s still a 5* product.

love this it’s great and light and portable! I had a gigantic one back in the day…like 1998 really, that long ago and it was cumbersome and ugly. This does the trick! I bought one for one of my BFF’s for her birthday who has SAD. I do not but I like this b/c it adds some more light to my otherwise shiny bright day because I believe in the Law of Attraction ✨🌟💫! I saw this on Shark Tank and I cried at the story presented by the CEO/founder of this company. So inspiring and I literally cried. Like many people, my mood tends to take a nose dive in the wintertime when I’m spending less time outside and everything is just generally grey and gloomy. I’ve heard about light “therapy” for a while now and finally gave it a shot. Let me tell you that regardless of if it’s a placebo or not, I feel like this little light genuinely does help. I’ve noticed that I have more energy during the day and go to bed at a more reasonable hour at night when I use this. I decided on this mini one instead of the normal size because of the steep price difference for essentially the same effect. Plus it folds up which makes it easy to store or take with me somewhere. It does need some time and willpower to form a habit of using it, which ironically is exactly what this is supposed to help improve. I like using it and will recommend it to others who have some seasonal mood problems.

I bought one for myself and one for my friend. we both love using it as it has been helpful and is very compact and easy for travel. I had a connection problem with the cord and contacted the seller. They sent me a replacement. I was very appreciative for their great customer service.

Much smaller than expected. In the photo, the dimensions are listed as 4.75 x 8 x 9. In the words its described as 3.25 x 8 x 3.25. Way down under “technical details” it gets it right: 3.25 x 3.5 x 3.25 when set up for use. 3.25 x 3.5 x 1.25 when closed up for storage (not counting the cord/adaptor)
many ‘light therapy’ sources I’ve read suggest that you should position your lamp up high to shine down on you. This lamp however is designed to sit on a desk-like surface and shine up at you. I’m not sure what kind of contraption I’d have to build to have it suspended up high and angled down at me…
It definitely checks the boxes of “bright”, “portable” and “easy to use” Time will tell if it is effective….

I’ve never tried light therapy, so I didn’t want to invest in a large set-up. This light is perfect – small, portable and very bright. An attractive and well-designed item that I look forward to using.
