My sleep quality has diminished greatly here in mid-life. I go to bed and wake up with some new pain all the time. I had bought a pack of pillows with a nice loft and claimed to be for side-sleepers which I am. I was excited to sleep on the new pillow, but the next morning I woke up and couldn’t move my head. The pain in my neck was almost unbearable.
It took weeks for my neck to feel better and needless to say, I returned the pillows.
I decided I’d look on Amazon for a foam cervical pillow in the hopes that maybe it would help. When it arrived I was hopeful and looked forward to the best sleep I’ve had in years.
That did not happen. The first night was pure hell. It wasn’t the comfort of the pillow but the chemical odor emitting from the pillow. The next morning I removed my pillow case to be washed and allowed the pillow to air out for several days before trying to sleep on it again. The chemical smell was finally gone!
As for comfort, it took me a couple of nights to adjust to this pillow for a few reasons. One, I’ve slept on a king-size pillow for years, so a small pillow felt awkward. Two, it’s a foam pillow, so unlike past pillows, there’s no fluffing or adjusting the fill for comfort. Three, since I am a side sleeper, I tend to prop the opposite arm from the side I’m sleeping on up on my pillow. Since this is a smaller size pillow I do have some trouble getting comfortable to go to sleep.
I am going to give the cervical pillow an honest try, but I think I might enjoy one that has a place to prop my arm.
I haven’t noticed any great relief in pain level yet either, so hopefully in time that’ll change. I will note that this pillow does not make me feel hot like some foam pillows I’ve tried in the past. That’s a huge plus because sleeping hot is not a good feeling either.
Just giving this pillow 4 stars for now.

Really great neck support. No longer have neck stiffness from a regular pillow bunching up. Does not get warm like a pillow and having to flip it over multiple times during the night.

I bought a pillow a few months ago that I was (and continue to be) very happy with (see my other reviews). My wife also wanted one, but it was a bit too high for her on one side (the high contour). The measurements on this pillow were a bit lower, so I bought one to try. I tried it first to compare it to my other pillow, then my wife tried it.
My opinion: This is also an excellent pillow. It feels like it uses the exact same memory foam material as my other one, which is great. The rebound is exactly the same, the feel is the same high quality, and somehow (don’t ask me how) they’ve managed to create a pillow that’s firm enough to support my neck, while still feeling soft enough to give me a full night’s comfortable sleep.
The pillow has a very high quality protector on it, which unzips for easy washing. It feels silky and smooth to the touch, and the workmanship on it is top-notch. The memory foam inside is then protected by yet another cloth cover, which is stitched all around. Very nice.
When I unpacked it, it took shape immediately. It had a slight smell to it (off gassing from the new foam), but this was greatly reduced after 24 hours, and gone in 48 hours. So I suggest leaving it for a day after unpacking before using it. But my wife says I have a freakishly strong sense of smell, so maybe you won’t even notice. She didn’t.
The high side of the contour is visibly lower than my other pillow. My measurement shows 4.9″ on the high side, and 3.63″ on the low side. The high side on my other pillow is 5.4″. I was looking for a lower high side for my wife, so this was perfect.
The sleep on it was excellent. I slept soundly all night, and never felt uncomfortable like I do when pillows are too soft or too firm. I could easily live with both pillows, but I’ll never have the chance because my wife took this new one for herself permanently.
My wife’s opinion: My wife is a picky pillow person. I have an entire cupboard full of failed pillow purchase attempts (a.k.a. the pillow graveyard), so I was nervous buying this one. I’m in Canada and this came from the US (much cheaper for these pillows in the US compared to Canada!), so I knew returns would be difficult. Well, no more worries.
The first night she used it, she said it felt firm for her. She was used to a much softer pillow. However, she said this pillow clearly supports her neck much better, and she slept better than she had in a long time, so she committed to continue using it for a few more days to see how it feels. By the 3rd night she was already used to it, and said this is her new permanent pillow (yay!). You have no idea how many complaints about pillows I’ve heard from her over the years, but this pillow has finally satisfied her. The height of the high contour side is perfect for her (she’s 5’6″, slim). She prefers this pillow’s height over my pillow. She generally tosses and turns a lot, but that has been reduced as well. And I’m not sure if she’s noticed, but I’ve noticed she comments about pain in her neck a lot less. That means the pillow is doing a great job.
This pillow is a winner. I recommend it. My wife recommends it. Give it a try.

I have two herniated discs in my cervical spine that causes neck/shoulder pain and discomfort. I bought this pillow because I needed more support specifically for my neck. It has been great! It has just the right amount of support, while remaining soft and comfortable overall.

Nicely wraps around my head and neck when I sleep on it. Better for bigger-built folks, coz it feels a tad big and thick for my small 5 foot 4 body.

This was surprisingly uncomfortable as a pillow. I’ve never had a pillow actively increase my neck and jaw pain within minutes of laying down on it. The upside is that my cats absolutely love this as a cat bed, so as a less expensive option for a memory foam pet bed it’s great.

My 90+ year old parent had a fall and had to wear a neck brace. Could not find a comfortable sleeping position and this was harming their health. This pillow allowed them to stay in bed and sleep comfortably at night and other the brace and after it came off when their neck muscles were weak. High quality and the best pillow we tried, including wedge pillows.

I have looked at several options online and essentially needed a contour pillow that feels cooler than regular pillows. I don’t know how they made this material for the pillowcase but it is amazing and does feel quite cool to the touch. My head doesn’t overheat during sleep anymore. Did not feel any odor, as I saw mentioned in a couple of reviews as, I’m quite sensitive to smells.

I don’t usually write product reviews, but this pillow completely astounded me. I had a chiropractic pillow that purchased through my chiropractor but it got lost in a move. That pillow provided support but was not comfortable at all. I ordered this one because it looked similar to the one I purchased from my chiropractor. Sleeping on it is like sleeping on a cloud! It provides the support that I need but it is very comfortable. I sleep very well out on it. I am amazed! This I wrote this review after sleeping on the pillow multiple nights.
