I gave the product 4 stars because it was decent quality, but the product name is misleading. It’s not actual silk/satin, it’s polyester. The fabric is silky in look and smoothness but there is a huge difference between it and real satin (polyester one seems more stiff and fabric doesn’t breathe well). Overall decent bang for your buck and it’s probably better on your hair than cotton pillowcases, but definitely worth the splurge to get a real satin one.

This is a replacement for an older satin pillowcase. This one is really nice! Feels soft on my skin. Doesn’t pull at my hair and make it look wild in the morning. Perfect for any type of hair type. I love these pillowcases! The satin has almost a cooling effect and they look lovely on the bed. I have purchased them in multiple colours to match different blankets or sheet sets. Also the added benefit of being more gentle on your skin and hair- I’ve noticed a lot less breakage since sleeping with these. Maybe not as good as the pure silk ones but for the price point they are wonderful!
