I don’t spend money on anything unless I’ve spent enough time researching, reading reviews, and making sure that my purchase is a good idea. I settled on this particular mattress, despite being new to the fracas, as it was part of the “Black Friday deals”, and the price was so low for a mattress with such high marks.
I purchased the king, 12”, Med firm option, and followed the instructions, upon receipt . I’m laying on it now, writing this review. I’m not gonna lie; I really didn’t expect it to be quite as good as the Sealy my fiancé recently purchased from Sam’s, for nearly $700. Surprisingly, it is just as good, maybe better!
It has excellent edge support, a firm feel, weighs 115lbs, and the “pillow top” is soft and silky smooth. For the record, I’m a middle aged man, 5’10”, 203lbs, with numerous back injuries. My fiancé is 5’8”, 155lbs, and tosses around in bed all night long! My old mattress was literally a nightmare to share…this one, a comparative dream! I will update this if anything changes.
Update: 12-18-23. Sharing this bed with a loud and mobile sleeper is the least bad it’s been!😂. The mattress continues to impress, and I’m ordering another, now, for my soon to be stepdaughter. It’s a great mattress for any price point, seriously, it’s that good. My fiancé actually complained about her $700 Serta, saying the Avenco is significantly better! Merry Christmas to all!

I am over 300lbs at the moment, so a mattress is a difficult purchase for me. I studied that the best option would be a hybrid mattress with reinforced sides and motion control. This fit, so I decided to try it even though I was skeptical an inexpensive box mattress would have the quality I wanted. Y’all. Stop spending thousands of dollars and buy this right now. It’s the perfect blend of cloud and support. I have major restless legs but the way this fits to my body while supporting me in the right spots, allows me to actually wake up in the same position I went to bed. It is already helping with pain relief. That’s a huge deal. I also did the bounce test where I bounced one one side to see if it would knock my water bottle over and it did not! Pretty cool. Also so quiet! My last mattress was a classic spring and SO loud. I love this thing. My mom tried it and wants one too. Buy it!!
Also, I waited the full 72 hours and I think it was worth it. I did not notice any smell either.
Update from a year later! Still loving this mattress! I rotate every 3 months and it’s held up great! Highly recommend!! Buying another as a guest bed.

I have been sleeping on this mattress for 5 months now and have developed back pain every morning. I know it’s this mattress because I’ve been so restless that I went to my daughters room and slept in her bed and it relieved the pain and I rested easy. The bed sinks around the hips and is stronger around the edges. I am getting rid of it soon and I don’t recommend purchasing.

So far I am very pleased with how it came packaged and the quality looks very good for the price. I was originally looking at $2k+ mattresses but decided to get this one and the quality seems about the same.
My only concern is this particular model might be slightly too soft for me at 220lbs. If you are under 200lbs then it should be fine.
We will see though I haven’t got to sleep on it yet as I am letting it fully inflate. First impressions are great and I will update this review over time.

very impressed for a ‘bed in a box’. Got surprised though when I took the plastic off and the mattress blew up instantly! Surprised the heck out of me. It then increased in size over a few hours. Overall , super deal and feels great.

Comfortable, no smell at all. Very springy. Box was 5x heavier than normal bed in a box. I suggest larger adults would need something firmer though.
