Estoy encantado con el nuevo Amazon Echo Spot (modelo de 2024). Su diseño elegante y compacto se adapta perfectamente a mi mesita de noche, y la calidad de sonido es impresionante para su tamaño. Alexa responde rápidamente a mis comandos, y la pantalla es clara y brillante, ideal para ver la hora o el clima de un vistazo.
Lo que más me gusta es la función de despertador inteligente. La posibilidad de programar alarmas personalizadas con sonidos vibrantes y la opción de despertar con mi música favorita es un gran plus. Además, las funciones de casa inteligente se integran sin problemas, lo que hace que controlar las luces y otros dispositivos sea muy sencillo.

This is my first ever owned Echo Speaker, however…
Design: I honestly fell in love with the design. I think it’s very modern and the way it incorporates the clock with the speaker is very well done.
Sound: I’m honestly impressed by the sound quality. It is very loud, crisp and clear. It isn’t the ABSOLUTE loudest or best speaker out there, however, it performs incredibly well. The bass very good and very present for such a small device.
Alexa: The Alexa feature on it is amazing. Very versatile with what you can do with it and it’s very responsive as well. I love that you can control so many things with it if you have the right accessories.
Screen: At first glance I though the whole top portion was a screen, but it’s only a small square in the center. The screen itself is very bright and pleasing to look at. Touch screen is very responsive and decently customizable, from color to clock format, but I wish it had a few more options for how you want the clock to look like, though, it’s not an issue at all.
Connectivity: Very seamless and easy to handle with your phone (Alexa App). There are many options on how to use your Echo Spot and though I’ve only gone through a few, I’ve seen the rest of the things I can use the app for, and it is so versatile. I’m sure WiFi connectivity matters when it comes to response time between your phone and the Echo, but the response time was very quick in my experience.
Cord: It brings a decently long cord. Would be nice if the plug was a bit less bulky, but again, minor inconvenience, not an issue at all.
Overall, this is a solid product and I highly reccomend it if you’ve never had one. I did buy it with a few things in mind though. I wanted to get the most out of it, so I did order a fan and some light bulbs to control with it, and I can see myself wanting to get other things to use my Echo Spot with, however, the speaker on its own is still a great Smart Speaker/Clock.

El modelo en sí, es muy vistoso, tiene acabados muy elegantes y de buen material, el sonido tiene una diferencia de 3 decibeles más en comparación con el echo dot 5ta., realmente no es mucha la diferencia, sin embargo se alcanzan a apreciar un poco más los bajos.
La pantalla touch definitivamente le aporta mucho, se puede cambiar la apariencia del reloj, los niveles de brillo y control de música.
El tamaño es un 30% más grande que el echo dot 5ta., supongo que es para compensar la ubicación de la bocina, debido al tamaño de la misma.
El voltaje de uso en promedio es de 2.5 watts con brillo máximo…ya en modo música vol. 10, alcanza un promedio de 3.6 watts, lo cual ahorra bastante energía para la potencia que mantiene!
El modo nocturno es conveniente si te molesta la luz de la pantalla por las noches, la pequeña desventaja es que esta no se puede apagar en su totalidad, pero realmente no es molesto, ya que la pantalla tiene tecnología de ahorro y baja luz.
El mostrar las carátulas de las canciones es bastante bueno, sin embargo: no me agradó, que al reproducir música, las carátulas de las canciones se mantienen todo el tiempo.
Solución: le tienes que dar la indicación: “Alexa, inicio” para que nuevamente muestre el reloj.
Por lo que, si de alguna forma te interesa escuchar música y ver tu reloj al mismo tiempo desde una distancia de más de 2 mts. Será casi imposible visualizar el pequeñito reloj que aparece sobre las carátulas de la música…espero tengan alguna actualización a ese detalle.
En general estoy muy contento, definitivamente vale la pena!
Por mi parte yo le daría un 4.5 en general.

I recently moved into a new home and decided to get the Amazon Echo Spot as my smart alarm clock. Overall, I’m pleased with it but there are a few areas where it could improve.
The touchscreen is a great feature, and I appreciate that it dims automatically at night with manual brightness control if needed. This is perfect for a bedside clock.
However, one major drawback is the limited number of clock face designs—only six options are available. I find the default designs quite ugly and would love more customization options to personalize the look of the clock face.
Despite this, the Echo Spot is a solid addition to my growing smart home setup. It functions well and integrates nicely with other smart devices. I hope future updates will bring more themes and customization settings to enhance its usability. For now, it’s a good product, and I’m happy with it overall.

The Echo spot is an excellent device. It is very easy to connect and and set up. You should know, however, that I am legally blind, so when I say it was easy, it really was. The whole process took less than ten minutes. At present I have a total of 6 Echo devices throughout my home (1 Show, 3 Pops and 1 Dot with clock, in addition to the Spot, so I do have some experience with them), and an eero Wiri network. The Echo spot has an excellent display which was easily customizable for my needs. The sound is very good quality. The design is perfect for a night stand and looks much better than my clunky old clock radio. In conclusion, I like it.

Loving the Spot as it has a nice yet subtle display that is easy to read with nice features that are easily programmable
The sound is rich and clear, an upgrade from my echo dot 5th generation. It linked up to my Govee smart bulb with no issues and works great via voice commands or using the app. I also like that I can link my smartphone to it and play all the music on my phone thru its speakers which sound much better than my phone’s speakers.
I would have given 5 stars except that the weather temperature on the display doesn’t keep up real time with local forecast as it seems rather slow to update unless/until I ask Alexa the weather at which time it updates to what Alexa says that gives me the weather temperature that matches my outside conditions. No big deal as I usually ask Alexa anyway. I did try to troubleshoot that issue with Amazon tech with no real solutions. At any rate that’s my only issue with the Spot as everything else works and looks great and I am completely satisfied, especially seeing how I got the spot on Prime days for 55% off regular price making it even more worth the price.
Update: the issue with the display showing the correct temperature has gotten worse as it now says 85° on the display and it’s 96° outside according to local weather. I asked Alexa and it says it’s 96° outside which is correct but the display hasn’t changed and it still says 85°. Everything else is fine so if you want a good Alexa smart device that does everything except give the correct weather then it’s a good buy but only if you can get it at a discounted price. It would be worth the full price if everything worked as it should (meaning the weather bon the display).
