- 𝐑𝐄𝐂𝐎𝐌𝐌𝐄𝐍𝐃𝐀𝐓𝐈𝐎𝐍: For best results, your pillow insert should be larger than your sham to correctly fill the corners of the pillow cover, this will provide a very attractive firm and fluffy look to your sham, we recommend to place our inserts in shams that are 1″ or 2″ smaller than the pillow, It would depend on the thickness of the sham, a thick fabric would need a 2″ larger insert to keep it fluffed, a more lighter fabric would need a 1″ lager insert.

I purchased the 26×26 down insert for same size euro covers. The fit is perfect, feather/down fill is over 4 lbs., no feathers coming through the pillow, you will be very happy with this insert!

I found these inserts through a blog that highly recommended these, and I was hesitant to purchase inserts through Amazon, but I am so glad I did! I currently have inserts from Restoration Hardware that are terrible – they lose their shape immediately and are just flat. These inserts are the complete opposite! They have so much fill and hold their shape incredibly well. I purchased the 26×26 inserts for 24×24 covers from Pottery Barn and they REALLY fill them out, making the pillows actually functional and not just decorative. They do have a slight odor to them but I am hoping it will go away after a few days. I have not had any issues with feathers going through the cotton as other reviewers have experienced.

I would be proud for anyone to see that I have these quality pillows on my bed. I love that they have just the right amount of strength to not sag, yet look comfortable. It took me several tries, but my bed is complete. I used three 26” x 26” pillows to extend across the headboard of our king bed. They have no odor , are made with down, can be washed and are made in the USA. Comparatively, the price is great. What more do you want?
