I got this AMICLIBER 2 Inch Full Memory Foam Mattress Topper thinking, one of my daughters or my husband will get it because I already sleep on a boxspring bed with three layers and duvet-kind of topper. But I wanted to try it and OMG that felt sooo good to sleep with that extra soft layer! It was completely different feeling! You would think I won’t feel it since I already have so many layers but that made a difference! I sank in differently than with the other foam and microfiber layers. This topper with the gel infusion really formed and adjusted to my body weight and shape. The result: I kept it! Sorry not sorry for my family 😉
Ignore the discoloration when it arrives, it starts changing as soon as you open it. Wait until it is fully expanded.

This was only 10 minutes of opening and it already inflate almost to its capacity. For the price – I really like it. I’m sure after the 24-48 hours it recommends , it will be fully inflated.

First I would like to mention the amazing wrap with a letter opener type cutter attached to it with instructions on how to open it so you don’t cut into the pad. Over the years I would venture a guess at how many different types of mattress pads we’ve purchased and we still have some of those stashed away, just in case. None of those provided a cutter nor instructions for how to best free the pad from the plastic wrap.
Secondly, The straps have a slide clip on each corner so you can adjust the strap according to how deep your mattress is. These seem well sewn and not likely to break anytime soon.
Thirdly, I have been sleeping on this mattress topper for 2 1/2 months to give it a fair review. At first I didn’t like it at all but I don’t do change well so I kept sleeping on it. One day I noticed that I didn’t wake up with hip pain, shoulder pain and my arm and hand pain seemed to be less each morning. My hip pain has returned and my back seems out of whack because this topper has a huge divot from me sleeping mostly in one spot, directly in the middle of the bed. So, I try to crawl out of the divot and sleep on the edges of the bed and that works, however, when I am tired it is most difficult to crawl out of the pit in the middle of the topper.
This topper needs more dense foam under the softer foam.

This memory foam topper came vacuum sealed and unfolded and expanded relatively quickly. It does not have a cover, which I knew when ordering it, as I needed a 2″ topper for a case I already had. You will definitely want some sort of case on this, or at the very least a mattress protector to keep it a bit more secured against your mattress.
The actual feel of the foam left me a bit disappointed. It’s light/soft foam, when I think of memory foam I think of something with a bit more firmness. I’m using it as a base underneath 1″ of bouncy latex though so though its not the ideal density for me it works reasonably well.
If you are looking for something on the very light and soft side, something to sink deep into, maybe to go over already very firm mattress, you will probably like this one. At this price it is a good deal as well. If you want something firm though you should look elsewhere.

Ordered this as an attempt to save my mattress that is way older than I’d like to admit. I simply can’t afford a replacement right now, and I hoped that this would help extend its life just a little bit.
It arrived firmly packed in a roll, and quickly expanded once unwrapped. I left it to air out and puff up for a few days before I installed it on my bed, and haven’t had any issues with smells from it. There are some sort of beads embedded in the foam, but you don’t feel them once there’s a sheet on top.
The topper has sharp (but squishy) corners that don’t necessarily line up easily with round-cornered mattresses, and it looked a tiny bit oversized for my full size mattress, but after the sheets were on I couldn’t tell.
This topper adds a great, squishy layer to the top of your mattress, and my dog and I both slept well the first night it went on. It feels fantastic, and has definitely made my ancient mattress much more comfortable.

I have a pillow top mattress the is a few years old and we experiencing extremely discomforting back and neck pain after sleeping and felt like I was barley getting any rest. I bought this and by the first night there was a hugeee noticeable difference in how I slept! I woke up with my body feeling a lot better and actually got good sleep! So happy I made this purchase and would do it again in the future if needed. I personally feel as though it didn’t make me hotter or colder at night and it fit the entire mattress head to toe with maybe a tad bit of room on each end and the sides. We Love love love I!!!
