I’m a 49 yr old autistic woman. I use weighted products frequently. I purchased this weighted stuffed animal and now use him almost exclusively. He is wonderful (I named him Seumus-he is Scottish after all). At 5lbs he’s the perfect weight and size to have lie on your belly or sleep with. Easy to take anywhere. He’s quite cute and his fur is soft with the exception of the forelock at the top of his head. It’s terribly coarse and wiry. Awful texture. I ended up having to give him quite a haircut to be able to tolerate petting the top of his head. I also had to (and still occasionally do) brush his fur out because it looks very matted, even though it isn’t. The autistic brain at work. So this might be an issue for some ASDers. Overall, I’m very happy with this stuffed animal and I hope he lasts a long time.

My preteen loves using this when they’re stressed or having a bad day. It’s not too heavy, it’s soft, and it’s earned a cool name.

The weighted axolotl is well made, very adorable, and so soft. It is a great size, the weight is in the stomach (no weight in the head or tail). It was the perfect gift for my axolotl loving son. We ordered a pink but got a yellow one instead. My son didn’t care about the color so we kept the yellow one.

I will go over the pros and cons :
PROS-
•soft
•adorable
•high quality production
•great size
•serves its purpose
CONS
•the pink ruffles are slightly sharp do too being glued or melted together to begin the shape. If you have a sensitivity to textures then be warned.
•vertically only half of it feels to be beans. The other half is stuffing which makes it feel uneven when held. It would feel much better if the full torso was beans. The weight difference kind of bothers me. The head is stuffed which is nice but the stuffing extends down into part of the neck and back again, causing that weight imbalance.
Overall, I am happy with the purchase. It was a little pricey for a weighted stuffed toy but ce la vie. I wish the weight was better distributed for SURE.
So just be warned. If you have ASD, this plush is not perfect and may make you uncomfortable due to his weight imbalance and sharp ear ruffles.

I ended up having to return this rabbit, there were just too many inconsistencies with what was promised.
The body was stuffed to the brim with beads, making it hard as a rock and unpleasant to hold. The arms and legs aren’t stuffed at all, and are completely flaccid. Not to mention, it’s not cute. I don’t want to be insulting, but this thing is downright ugly. The nose is too big, the mouth and eyes are noticeably asymmetrical, and the whole head seems to get bigger at the front. Maybe if the rest of the rabbit was well made and evenly weighted, or at least soft, I’d be nicer, but it just doesn’t have anything going for it.
I’d give it zero stars if I could, and wouldn’t recommend this rabbit to anyone.
