I put these insets in a pillow case of the SAME size (not two inches smaller as recommended by people) and it is perfect. A lumbar pillow such as this is okay to be a little softer than with square pillows. It is great quality and I recommend to anyone wanting a good quality down pillow.

I had purchased 2 covers for their design and the inserts I already had were too small. I bought these and they are perfect! You should always size up by 2″ in your inserts to fill your pillow out. You can’t beat the comfort of a down filled pillow. Polyester doesn’t compare. Very happy! No smell at all either like some down filled things can have, and I have a very sensitive nose!

This is the super comfortable throw pillow everyone fights over when just hanging out. Even the dog wants this pillow. Actual bed pillows could learn from these throw pillows; the filling is good – perfect thickness and squashability. We also bought soft, washable covers and they go on easily. Really great.
