I ordered this in a 6 inch mattress. The shipping was fast, the quality is good, the dimensions are correct. However, it is 4 3/4 inches thick – slightly under 5 inches. Nowhere near 6 inches thick. We have had it open to the air letting it expand out as instructed for the past few days. On the 2nd day we decided to unzip the mattress cover and take it off to let it breathe better, hoping this would allow it to expand more. But it didn’t…If you don’t mind spending extra $$$ to get the 8 inch then I’d recommend doing so in order to have it be at 6.5 inches thick. You have to go up a size or two from the size that you want. Read the other reviews – all these run thinner than what is advertised. Even if you follow the instructions to expose it to the air for the first 72 hrs (upon it being out of the box) it doesn’t matter, you will need to go a size up from what is advertised. This is a good brand, dont get me wrong on that – I’m just being honest to help others on their sleep journey when purchasing the right mattress for themselves.

For me, I don’t regret the purchase. We chose this mattress because my daughter had a loft bed and it has a mattress thickness limitation. She also has a nice mattress topper so she is comfortable, but I’d think it would be a bit thin for a regular bed without any extra padding. It is comfortable and what I would expect for the price. Great beginner mattress for young sleepers or potty trainers.

Wait and had the kids stay off the mattress over the 72 mark it required to puff up and the mattress never got above 4 inches when we paid for 6. Lots of other have reported same thing. Its functional for my 4 and 1 yo but definitely wouldn’t recommend for a teenager or adult.

This mattress is nice and thin and that works great for a pull-out trundle! It is surprisingly comfortable for how thin it is!
