I am spending the summer with a relative, and the bed just wasn’t comfortable. The mattress felt lumpy, even though it’s fairly new. I stripped the bed and discovered a very old and lumpy mattress pad. Bought this one to replace it because of the loft and the 300 TC 100% cotton top, and I’m glad I did.
Straight out of the bag it is flat, but if you wash and dry it (dry on low) it fluffs up beautifully. Not quite a “topper” (it’s not that thick), but definitely a luxury mattress pad. And it made a huge difference in the comfort level of my bed. I used to feel like I was sleeping on a bag of scattered marbles, now I feel like I’m sleeping on a nice, firm supportive cloud (lol). And the cotton top does make a difference. The old pad (100% poly) made me sweat. This one does not. Finally, the sidewalls and elastic easily fit over my 13″ mattress with room to spare. Fits the bed very well, no looseness or sloppiness.
I probably read through 20 mattress pad descriptions before selecting this one. For the price ($34), I don’t think it can be beat. Recommended.

Omg this is a must have for college students! Makes your twin XL so much more comfortable! I slept so good lol. It’s very comfortable and it stays cool not a very hot material. It’s very lightweight too. I highly recommend!

I mistakenly thought checking reorder would give me the same product. Wrong! The mattress pad is not plush; much thinner and sewn in a box pattern not the quilting pattern. Filler and sewing a disappointment.

I wanted a cotton, cloud-like mattress pad for my hybrid mattress. I hate feeling the wefts of the mattress and this one washed and fit perfectly. It’s heaven when I go to bed.

Very happy with this one – so soft! We have a mattress that’s already quite soft, but this mattress cover is just great. It makes the sheets go on well and just makes the bed feel extra cozy and “fluffy.” This also washes well – we have a dog that sleeps in bed with us. One night, she was ill in bed. But things washed right out – thank goodness! And the mattress was perfectly safe. Great purchase all around.
