The reason that I became interested in these glasses is because I have noticed that my mood is negatively affected by the shorter days in the winter season. I have used light therapy lamps in the past, but this is the first I am seeing light therapy attached to glasses. My first concern was that wearing them would simply be uncomfortable. I am happy to say that this is not the case. While I do wish they were just a little bit tighter, or there was a way to adjust the tightness of the frame, when I wear them along with my normal eyeglasses, the fit is more snug and actually feels just right. While wearing them, I find that I typically have to tilt my head a little bit upwards to adequately see things that I normally have in my sightline. This however is not necessary if I lie down on a couch or recliner and watch television, provided the television is just a little bit higher than my position. So for me, this is my favorite opportunity to use the light therapy attached to these glasses. Perhaps most noteworthy for me however is that when the timing cycle is complete, and the light shuts off, I instantaneously notice a slight “downward” change in my emotion, and I have a desire to turn the light back on. So, for someone like myself, where my emotion is impacted by the presence of light, this is a nice little device to now have handy.

I have been wanting a wearable blue light therapy device for a long time. I have some light therapy lamps that I use at my desk. But some (most) days I need to be moving around a lot; those desk devices don’t help on the need-to-move days. These glasses provide blue light in a way that I can move around where ever I want.
Fit and comfort: When I first tried the glasses on, they seemed awkward and like they would fall off — but I did ignore the instruction manual and I did rush to put them on without exploring the whole package. Once I read the instructions and experimented a bit, I find the glasses do stay on and are comfortable enough. First, note that you can adjust where the nosepiece fits by choosing into which hole the piece is inserted. Also, the glasses come with a silicone strap that goes around the head; you don’t have to use it, but it helps me, especially if I am dashing around while wearing the glasses. When I use the strap, I am not sure that I even need the nosepiece. These do not feel like regular glasses because they are designed to sit above any spectacles you might be wearing; in any case, you don’t look through these glasses; on me, they sit across my eyebrows to shine light at the correct angle down (which is why the nose piece is extra long). Because the glasses are rechargeable, I can walk around wearing them; the glasses come with a usb-c charging cable, but not the charging brick. I can do almost any task while wearing the glasses, though walking through a darkened room is a challenge because the light so close to my eyes makes the rest of the room seem darker than it is. I am impressed with a case that comes with these glasses; it is very protective and has a pocket to store the charging cable and the extra nose piece.
Controls and the the light: The manual is quite clear about how to use the one-button control, and once I read the manual I found it very easy. The auto-shutoff feature works well. The light doesn’t seem very bright when compared to my desktop therapy lamps. On the other hand, the light from these doesn’t have to reach far since it is right above my eyes. The manual provided some guidance for using the device for particular instances (e.g., waking up too soon, jet lag). The manual’s jet lag advice suggests a different protocol than I have been very successfully using, but the protocol I follow (The Argonne Anti-Jet-Lag-Diet) includes dietary changes a couple days before departure, which may account for the differences in advice about when to get daylight. I do wish the manual had explained why I would choose either the blue and the white light. The product information states that these are not hazardous and are in a compliance with IEC 62471 photobiological safety standard. I do not have a way to test the lux or the wavelengths emitted from the device.
At about $50 (the price when I ordered), these are much less expensive than other, similar devices. The therapy glasses are lightweight and comfortable enough to wear for a therapeutic amount of time. It is important not to overdo any light therapy, especially if you have sensitive eyes or eye problems.

So far, I am impressed by these MEINNO light therapy glasses. Since it’s getting darker more into the day, these are really important to me since I do tend to be affected by the seasons and these will be very handy for me to have as the days get colder.
First off, the packaging is very nice. it comes with a nice box. Inside the box, the glasses comes complete with a protective case, accessories such as charging cables, extra nosepiece, and user manual. It doesn’t say here on the Amazon page that the extra nosepiece comes with it, but it’s a nice surprise that it does.
I like the fact that I can wear this around the house, which is a nice change from being in front of the lamp. I can do things around the house while getting my light therapy in. I can also have other people have light therapy, too.
I also wear glasses, so these light therapy glasses that enables me to also wear my glasses at the same time is a nice feature.
I do tend to travel and I have a few upcoming trips to colder regions of my state during the holiday months. I am looking forward to having this handy as the carrying case, as well as the meshed areas inside the case that houses the accessories, will ensure that everything is protected. The carrying case is the right size to hold all of these products and doesn’t seem to take up too much room, so that’s nice.
I have no complaints about this product as it has served me well so far.

These are my first pair of light therapy glasses. These were a lot cheaper and looked the same. Well, I like them. I only do the white light when I wake up and it is still dark. I feel they really help get my brain and body going. I seem to be less tired. I wear for 30 -,45 min. They need to be recharged after 2 or 3 uses. The only down side is the nose piece is hard plastic and hurts my nose a bit and leaves a red mark. It takes some adjusting to make them more comfortable, but I am sensitive to wrinkles in my clothes so maybe not an issue for most. I wish it had a gift gel pad on the nose piece. Great value so far. I have only had for about a week. Hopefully it is long lasting and does not quit working.
