I have bought smart bulbs for EVERY SINGLE light fixture in my room!!!! Why?!… A better question is WHY NOT?!… When you replace a bulb that is bound by ONE COLOR, ONE BRIGHTNESS, and Does NOTHING but turn on and off, with a SMART BULB like these ones, it’s like going from living In black and white, to all of the sudden have color splashed all over your room or house! I mean not only does these bulbs save money In the sense of they can be ANYTHING you want them to be, from a bright white color so you can clean every inch of your room, they can be a soft and cozy yellow to relax and Netflix and chill on your couch, and they can also be set to absolutely crazy party time when you use the app and turn on the setting that makes your SMART bulbs react to the sound of whatever music your listening too!!! So for those three reasons alone, that’s enough to convince me just how “worth it” it is to switch from the boring old traditional bulbs we grew up with, to SMART bulbs that can do almost anything you could imagine when it comes to lighting! Not only that, I bet you, if you go down to your local shopping center, whatever that may be, your gonna look at the smart bulbs they have there, get all excited, and then look at the price and then quietly put them back! Because what they charge in most box stores today is OUTRAGEOUS! I did the research and math, to switch all the bulbs in my room to smart bulbs, I would have had to buy 5 regular bulbs and 3 candelabra bulbs, but they only sell smart bulbs individually or in packs of four for both sizes that I needed! So I would have wound up paying literally almost 100$ more had I not found the LIGHTINGINSIDE store here on AMAZON! Because they sold a wide variety of base types and number of bulbs that you need, I literally saved almost 100$ as compared to what I would have paid by just going to my local Walmart…. Oops, did I say that?! Lol if you don’t believe me, do your homework, you can tell me I was right when you order these bulbs and review them for yourself! WAAAAAIT, I forgot to mention one of the BEST FEATURES THESE BULBS HAVE!!!… They work with your Amazon Alexa products perfectly! So when I get home, I can tell Alexa to turn on my party lights, and just like that I have colors EVERYWHERE going to the beat of my music!…. PEACE!

It worked fine for 3 months, disconnected out of the blue and refuses to reconnect now. I’ve tried reconfiguring my router every way possible but the bulbs won’t connect to WiFi or even the bulb’s native app. I had to put them in pairing mode to attempt to reconnect them and they wouldn’t stop blinking since they wouldn’t pair. Finally connected via Bluetooth so they stopped blinking but even though they’re connected via Bluetooth you still can’t control them. Now they’re just normal lightbulbs. This product is trash. Don’t buy it.
Edit: Disregard that last part. Even after connecting via Bluetooth it started blinking again after a few minutes. Now the light is just giving me a headache because it won’t stop blinking.

Bought in June, in July one of the bulbs no longer turns on. They are all connected to the same light source, and we swapped the working/dead bulbs around in the sockets, to confirm one of them simply does not work anymore. It doesn’t even emit light, so it’s entirely useless now.

For these based on measurements needed for a new lamp I bought. Followed directions, yet the were still super long and ended up breaking the glass on one of the bulb covers. Not the fault of the bulb, it was my own fault for trying to force it. The lights are beautiful though, and I use them daily. Great price, and color section. Easy to use and connect.

Replaced the bulbs in my daughter’s bedroom light fixture with these-she loves them! Easy to set up and now she can control the colors with Alexa or the app.

If I turn the light switch off for too long they seem to lose connection to the app. Just over night, I flipped my light switch and they started annoyingly flashing and needed to be paired again

I bought these back in March 2024 (about 5 months ago) and they worked well for a while. Now one or two bulbs will randomly lose connection to wifi and I have to unscrew it, screw it back in, and then wait 5 minutes (or longer) before it comes back online. The wifi in my room works fine, I’ve got a smart TV that streams just fine, my laptop works fine, basically every other smart device works fine except these bulbs.
UPDATE: The company reached out to me and sent two replacement bulbs. So far, they are working but it’s only been a few months. I’m happy to change this to a 4-star review for now.
