I bought this for my mom who lives with us. She wanted it because it makes soothing sounds and she thought it would help her sleep. Her bedroom is in the basement suite and it’s directly under our living room TV. She goes to bed around the same time as when we are watching a movie on the weekends. The sound keeps her awake so I thought this would help. She is in her 70’s and she has a little bit of trouble with some of the newer technologies. This clock comes with both a user manual with detailed instructions and a very handy “map” diagram with all the buttons and their individual functions. My mom was able to figure it out using the diagram and she is really happy with this clock. She loves the all of the soothing sounds and they are already helping her fall asleep better. She doesn’t really care about the color lights but I played with them and they are really awesome, you can set up the clock to do a mock sunrise when you wake up, it’s really nice. The app is really simple as far as setup goes. Pairing was easy, no issues there. In the app you can setup favorite settings for bedtime sounds, lights etc. This clock really does it all and it’s worth the price. On behalf of my happy mother, I recommend this multi-function clock

I have another clock of a different brand that looks exactly the same. The main difference is this let’s me control it through an app, where as the other one has to be done manually.
You do have to be somewhat tech savvy or have the technician help you set up the 2.4g wi-fi. Though your modem might have 2.4g and 5G during your initial setup which makes it much easier in this case.
Lots of different light modes and background music. I do like waking up to the sunrise alarm. Even without music it’s bright enough to still wake me up.
There are more expensive versions available with more features, but this is a good start.

You can let it flow through all the colors of the rainbow, or set it at any color you wish. NICE GLOW. SOOOOOO Relaxing. Makes you very happy. Just push button on back to choose setting. LOVE IT!!!

I set this up on my bedside table and there it sits now.
I love this thing, it’s as vibrant as you want it to be, and it changes between the colorways with a perfect smoothness that’s nearly hypnotic.
In fact, I found myself getting lost in it, just staring at it and zoning out entirely. It was quite a nice stress relief, to be honest.
I’m contemplating pick up a couple more of them for other areas of the house. Just not in the kitchen, don’t want to zone out with the stove on! ;p
Seriously, this thing is tranquil. Get one!
