I love it! There’s an app with it, so make sure you set it up right away. There are several add ons that are free to install, and you can play music from it constantly without worrying if it’s gonna die and where the rechargeable cord is, because you plug it in! You can mute it, turn it off, and turn the volume up and down with the buttons on the top. The price is perfect and it’s wicked loud (on full volume which can be set in the app) and it sounds great. I like the morning routine that it offers the best and of course that I can play iHeart radio all day long for free. I also have a smaller dot for the kitchen. There’s also a “play xxxxx everywhere” and it will sync with the other one I have and play whatever music I selected. You can shut it off when you want quietness. It doesn’t have a battery life as it plugs in! 🙂 Easy to use and easy to set up the app.

However, when it comes to sound quality, this Echo Dot is a bit underwhelming. While it’s fine for casual listening or background music, it lacks the depth and richness that you’d get from a larger speaker. If you’re looking for something with a fuller sound, you might want to consider pairing it with a better speaker or opting for a different Echo model.

I’ve been using my echo-dot for 7 months already. Until 2 weeks ago its functionality was great. Then it started getting “stuck” on yellow-ring mode and Alexa would not respond. Device said there was no wi-fi connection (not true). I had to unplug it (still no resolve) and after several re-starting attempts, the issue got solved for a day. Until it went back to freeze-mode. That’s why I’m only giving it 4 Stars. Other than that it’s a great device to have. Clear music sound, awesome features, good value for money.
