Let me just say that now I felt like I brought a upper-class luxury hotel into my bed with this pillow you know when you go to a high class hotel and you’re wondering where they get those pillows well this is it is perfectly soft enough to wear, your head will sink into it, but not all the way through to the other side of the bed The softness of the outside of the pillow and silkiness is well-made quality that will last a long time. I don’t even apply that much pressure but it looks like I did. I just love that it’s a pillow that fills itself up squishing it I also like that your hands or arms or neck melts into the pillow which is exactly how you got a good night sleep this pillow is worth every single dollar spent. This pillow is an amazing investment to a good night sleep and I recommend it 1000%

For reference, I got the 9 lb pillow in minky blue.
First off, this comes in really excellent packaging. When you open the box, you definitely feel like you’re opening a very special present. It’s a high-quality, glossy box with a ribbon closure (the box can easily be reused or repurposed). Inside, you have a card that invites your comments or questions. The pillow was wrapped in a thick tissue paper and wrapped with a second bow, and even the inside of the box had a design. I felt pretty pampered before I even took the pillow out!
I got the minky blue, and I immediately noticed the attractive blue color. It has a velvet look to it and is not a flat blue. It’s super-soft to the touch and feels wonderful. It has a zippered cover, and the zipper is discreetly hidden– you have to look for it to even know it’s there.
One thing I really like about the design is that it doesn’t necessarily look childlike; you can easily pass it off as a regular (but high-quality) throw pillow for your couch, bed, or chair. I like that it fits with my bedroom decor rather than looking like a sensory product. You could even toss it in the backseat of your car, and it would just look like a travel pillow.
I’ve had a weighted blanket for years and love it a lot, but dragging a full-size blanket on and off can be a challenge, and they’re hard to wrestle. They’re also not always ideal when it’s hot. This pillow is an excellent alternative to a blanket, and it’s much easier to grab at a moment’s notice. It’s great for clutching to your chest or on your lap when you need to take a breather. It’s quickly becoming my “grab and go” weighted aide.
Note that the very big pillow shown in the product photos is the largest size pillow. If you get the 9 lbs pillow– which I did– it’s about 12×12. The product description actually does state the dimensions for the 9 lb pillow; just make sure you read carefully!
I would caution that 9 lbs is probably too heavy for a small child, and they might prefer a sensory plush toy anyway. This is an ideal design for adults, and I’m really happy to see an adult-friendly choice of sensory aide!

Where do I begin? The product is subpar at best! The listing shows this massive pillow the size of someone’s body. But when I received the product it was barely the size of my head. How am I supposed to sleep with this product? The fabric is harsh on your skin. I feel like I’m going to get rug burn sleeping on it. It feels like I’m sleeping on a rock, the material inside does not feel like quality material and is very hard to sleep on. I do not recommend this product to anyone.

There are a lot of options out there on the market today when it comes to weighted products. A lot of them feel like they are geared specifically towards kids. This one seems a little more grown up. It looks like an ordinary throw pillow, but feels amazing and is worth every penny, IMO.
This is one of the few items I’ve ordered for myself and am so glad I did. I got the blue minky 9 lbs. pillow and really like it a lot, more so than my weighted blanket. It feels amazing, like holding my cat, but without all the fur. It’s perfect for cuddling and relaxing or just winding down before bed. The added weight is very soothing and helps calm my active mind. I also love how this product could inconspicuously hang out on my bed or couch without screaming sensory aide. It also seems more travel friendly than my blanket.
The pillow is filled with shredded memory foam and glass beads in a zippable case and removable cover. The overall feel of the pillow is very firm, but still squishy. The fill level could also be adjusted for individual comfort by removing some of the shredded memory foam. The removable outer cover is so soft, and best of all, is machine washable. The zippers on both cases are smooth, and all of the sewing and materials are good quality. There is a slight smell from the memory foam, like with all new memory foam products, that I can only smell if I put my face on it. But the smell was fairly faint, even to my sensitive nose, and should dissipate with time.
There are lots of options in terms of color, fabric, and weight to choose from, making this a very customizable and giftable item. Everything about this weighted pillow says quality, from the materials used to the packaging it comes in. A lot of care was taken in the presentation of this too product. It comes beautifully wrapped in tissue and a ribbon inside a giftable box. Even though the price seems a bit high in terms of weighted objects, this is an investment in luxury and wellbeing that I would highly recommend for everyone.

The “Calmier – 9 lb Sensory Weighted Pillow” is great quality and very well-made. It even came well packaged. I love the appearance of the heart, color and material of the pillow as well. Its heavier than I expected and works great as a pillow to help the kids calm down when they’re stressed or feeling anxious. It do think it’s a little overpriced for it’s size though.
