### Bed Review: A Slightly Off-Fit for Our RV
We recently purchased a new bed for our RV, and while it has brought some improvements, there are a few challenges worth noting. Here’s a detailed review based on our experience.

First and foremost, the bed’s comfort level is commendable. The mattress offers excellent support, striking a balance between firmness and softness that both my partner and I find agreeable. The quality of the materials is evident; it feels durable and well-made, promising longevity, which is crucial for frequent RV use.

However, when it comes to size, the fit isn’t perfect for our RV. The bed is a bit too long, extending slightly into the walkway, which makes navigating around the RV a bit tricky, especially at night. This isn’t a deal-breaker but requires some careful maneuvering.
Additionally, the bed falls short on the sides by a few inches. This gap is a bit of an eyesore and somewhat inconvenient, as it leaves an awkward space where items can easily slip through. The short king size, which we considered, would have been too wide for our RV’s dimensions, making this slightly imperfect fit the best compromise.
#### Installation and Adjustments
Installing the bed was relatively straightforward, though the length did pose a minor challenge in positioning it just right. We had to make a few adjustments to ensure it fit snugly without causing too much obstruction. Unfortunately the previous mattress we had didn’t fit in our new travel trailer, and finding the right size for the RV was difficult. This is one of the only ones in Olympic Queen worth looking at IMO. It’s middle level of soft and firm, comparable to a sleep number level around 35-40 if you’ve used one of those. That was just what we needed for sleeping comfort. So much better than the factory carboard on springs mattress, threw that away day 1. This is a worthy Olympic Queen option if you don’t want to spend a ton on the best options.

Very confortable and sturdy but unfortunately the size is not exact and if using for an RV must be careful. Also very heavy which is not so good for RV use or for a bed frame that is not well built.

I have to admit I was skeptical about buying a foam mattress. I’ve always had a box spring and mattress set. I have to admit, it is a great mattress. This mattress is super comfortable. I find that it is firm but also cozy. You could add a topper if you find it too firm but I don’t think you would. My husband and I both don’t find it hot and he’s pretty picky. I love the Olympic queen size. I would have preferred a king but our room is not big enough. This was the next best thing we could come up with. The extra six inches on this mattress does make a noticeable difference when sleeping. It feels so much bigger than a regular queen. You can easily find sheets on amazon for it as well. We also found that it fit well on our regular queen size platform bed frame. There might be an inch or so on each side that extends over but not enough for the edges to seem soft. I would buy this mattress again in a heart beat. Great product!
