This bed is acceptable. It is indeed cooling, almost too much so, but it’s winter now, so I imagine I’ll love it in summer. It’s very firm, not medium firm, but I like the level of firmness and bought another Zinus knowing it would be firm.
It expanded quickly and is the full 12 inches. It’s bouncy, but in a nice way. The memory foam topper is comfortable. Structurally, it’s not the best- the foam can move, so I find it’s pushed out a tiny bit further on the sides not against a wall. I can easily feel the springs through the sides, as it’s just thin fabric. However, I do not feel them through the top and sleep comfortably. I understand those who complain about rolling off, though I do not have that problem. It just doesn’t have firm sides due to the foam.
I would not recommend this particular mattress for those structural issues, though I would recommend the green tea foam one. However, I’m satisfied with it and will keep it. My back pain is improving, and it’s only night number 2.
It’s very affordable, so make your decision accordingly.

I bought this mattress after staying in an AirBNB that had the same one. In the rental, it was super comfortable and just the right mix of firm and soft with a thin waterproof mattress cover on top, but when I got it at home and used the same mattress topper the bed is much firmer. I “broke it in” as best I could by walking on it and have slept on it for over a month, but the firmness stays just as it did when I got it. I’m going to keep it because its too much of a pain to return, but I’ll need to add a mattress pad to give relief to my hips when I sleep on my side. Positives: the movement of your sleeping partner isn’t felt at all, there was no odd smell, it expanded to the size I expected, I was able to get it up the stairs and unrolled by myself with some creative moves (I’m 50, female and have average level of strength).

I ordered a 12″ mattress for both of my kids on the same day in the same order and funny enough they were shipped from two different companies but they both showed up on the same day none the less and they were packaged well. They both inflated very quickly and they are nice and soft the kids are loving them. I had a quick lay down on them and they are super comfy. They don’t even have a funny smell. We are very happy with our purchase.

I have to admit that we haven’t actually slept on the mattress just yet, but we have set it up in our camper and it is very comfortable to lay on. There was no unpleasant smell, it fluffed up to correct height. It’s nice a firm, just like we like it. We can’t wait to go camping.

I did a lot of research before purchasing this mattress. I care about my sleep a lot and I know there are many cheaply made mattresses but sold at high prices on Amazon. This mattress is genuine. True to the description. And having slept on it for 2 months now, I can honestly say very comfortable. Never had any back issues or soreness in the morning. It as good circulation, and doesn’t get stuffy and too warm in the night. I’m very, very happy with it!

I have a severe latex allergy and this brand is one of a few that make their mattresses completely latex free. My first mattress I had (12 inch full) lasted about 6 years before it started to sag. My hubby and I decided it was time to upgrade so we got the 12 inch queen and oh my gosh it is amazing. It was easy to install on the frame and sinks a bit on the sides but every mattress I’ve owned does that to an extent. Well worth the price. It is firm but not so much that it causes problems. Very comfortable and spacious
