We just moved into a new home, and bought a bedroom set, and mattress for our new guest room.
While the bedroom set arrived damaged – the mattress arrived safe and sound.
It came in a large rectangular box, with simply a vacuum sealed mattress, rolled very tightly.
Upon popping the seal. It fairly violently opened up, so be careful. But it expanded to full size very quickly.
It’s a touch softer than we’d have liked (it’s very, very squishy) – but it’s good enough for a guest room that will be used sparingly.
For the price, we couldn’t have done much better. Way better than an air mattress or the floor!

Shopping for a new mattress, in the local furniture stores, had me in sticker shock! Then, for a very reasonable price, I saw this Uapev mattress advertised. And sent postage free, in a 65 pound, large box. That was the only thing I was worried about: ‘Was how I was going to pick it up at the Post Office?’ I went with a mini hand truck and it was easy to move it out to my vehicle. I knew it would expand after taking the plastic wrapping off, but I wasn’t ready for such an explosive unfurling! Keep small children and pets out of the way! I let it rise to its full extent for 2 days while sleeping on the couch. Now I’ve slept on it for two days and slept well. You need a dorm bed? Or spare bedroom bed? Why pay the big bucks? Try one of these.

Thought it was great after 9 days of sleeping in a recliner. Didn’t open it until 7 days ago and let it expand for 30 hours before putting newly purchased mattress cover on. First night was lovely even in a room that still had lingering paint smell. After that it went down hill. Here’s the Update: This mattress is not a queen size (small on frame and sheets loose), edges aren’t firm at all, and i can feel the springs. I was in less pain sleeping in my recliner, which isn’t easy for me to sleep in.
Trying to return this ‘mattress in a box’ but lack industrial vacuum and rolling machines.
Any suggestions for returning the item? Or won’t even fit in the plastic since it was slit to open and get mattress out to expand.

Really like this mattress. Hubs and I are both bigger folks and needed a serious upgrade after a year of just fighting to survive. Got this and a cheap metal frame from Amazon and have been SO happy with the bed! Very comfy, though he does sink down more than I do BUT even without a box spring, the 12-in mattress is plenty thick enough for us to not feel the metal bars of the frame and we’ve been sleeping well for almost a month now <3

Box is very heavy…you might need assistance when it’s delivered. Out the box mattress is packaged nicely. Instructions and tool are provided to cut plastic so you don’t have to use anything sharp.
Please be careful when cutting open! The mattress is vacuumed seal really well so when you cut it open it will immediately pop out towards you. Instructions says it takes 24-72 hours for it to fully rise but as soon as I cut the plastic it was ready to go and there was no smell at all.
The mattress is soft and firm! It’s extremely comfortable! I was surprised! I layed on it for 20 minutes and didn’t want to get up. It’s definitely worth the money and it was a 50 off coupon when I checked out. This an excellent mattress and a surprise find. I looked at many on here before in bought this one.. Buy it if you are looking around for a good mattress at a good price.

Yea man, so it’s true. I know they’ve had boxed mattresses for a few years now but I’m impressed. Not just a cheap mattress, it’s….A MATTRESS!! It feels like a cloud. Only question is how long it will last. But get it and find out you will love it. I’m 225lbs. I would say if you’re over probably 275-300lbs it might not work for you. For me, I’m going to take an educated guess and say after 18 months to 2 years it will have a bad sag but that is just a guess. My plan is to find a mattress I can replace every 3 years so it’s not gross. Mattresses cost so much and they get so nasty so I figure if I spend $300 every 3 years I have a new clean bed. By the way, these mattresses are different because they have removed the outer square framing and I do not feel that the structural integrity has been compromised. It feels like a real, good, quality, plushy mattress.

I’m always apprehensive about purchasing something I am unable to try out first; however, the moment I laid down on this mattress I was glad I took a chance. It was packed well and didn’t have a strong odor from manufacturing. It sprung out of the bag pretty fast so watch out! No wait time for it to “puff up” since it’s a spring mattress. Super plush and works well in the space. I’d definitely buy again.

I must say I’m surprised at the comfort for the price. It’s well made and medium firm. Very easy to set up but be careful no one or any pets are in the way when opening. It comes out of the bag with a force.
My back is not aching of a morning. I’m very happy and highly recommend it.
