Quieter than the Alternatives:
Compared to other heating options out there that sound like jet engines, hint hint, the AquaPad is a whisper in the night. You have to really TRY to hear it and even then … its nearly silent. Good luck with a decibel meter. It is probably like 2db.

Personally, I couldn’t keep this gem to myself. I’ve happily shared my experience with friends and family. Over 20 of them have purchased one, and without exception, they absolutely love it. It’s a testament to the AquaPad’s outstanding performance and appeal. I have also purchased a few of them for people. My older parents LOVE this thing! Especially during winter in the north east. Seriously it is a game changer.
Bonus points:
One delightful surprise I discovered is taking it camping!!! With a small inverter or a battery bank, you’re all set for cozy nights under the stars and it was AWESOME!

The Neat Aqua Pad is the absolute best bed heater we have EVER used! The warmth is an all around surrounding soft and luxurious type of warmth! The only downside to using this product is having to get up in the morning and leave it for the day! It is such a relaxing feeling to crawl under the blankets and be surrounded by such a wonderful fedling after a longvand stressful day! We have absolutely nothing negative to say about it! Definitely thrilled to have purchased it! And the company itself is top notch, in fact i dont know that we have ever dealt with a company quite like these guys, very attentative to all of our requests, this customer service ROCKS!! Thank you Aqua Pad for all you do!!

Great fit on my Twin XL adjustable bed; purchased to prevent the chills getting between the cold sheets. Easy set-up, main unit placed on a slightly elevated surface at the head of the bed. Filled it with distilled water, and turned it on. When the water level dropped, very little additional water was needed. I set the temperature at 90 degrees and could feel it warming up within a few minutes. After a few nights, I decided 85 degree warmth was perfect for me. I removed an extra blanket following the discovery that I heated the bed up to 90 degrees. The main unit makes absolutely no sound that I can hear. I’m retired and have tinnitus which may explain why I’m unable to hear it if it is making any sound. I check the water about once a week and have only added about a cup to the reservoir in the month since initial set-up. A couple of times, I heard a gurgling sound for a few seconds right after turning it on…not sure why it does this. However, I think it is mentioned on their webpage.
The only complaint I have concerns the silicone tubes within the pad. I know they are necessary for proper function, but wonder if denser padding would make them less intrusive into the slumber experience. The company webpage advertises “3/4 inch thick padding” surrounding the tubing. If the padding was sufficiently dense, the tubing would be better concealed, and more discreet. It was easy for me to acclimate to the feel of the silicone tubing, simply trying to be thorough in this review. Hopefully NEAT will investigate the (not so dense) padding issue within the manufacturing processes…movin’ right along…
When the package was opened, I discovered the little green hand pump was broken. (probably in transit)
I called the number provided in the package, and left a message. Within a few minutes, I received a call from a very nice lady (Luna) identified herself, verified the number I was calling from incase the call was interrupted, and explained how she could assist me before requesting the order number. She directed me to text her a picture of the broken pump handle. She apologized and said a replacement pump would be shipped free of charge. The replacement pump arrived via USPS in just a few days.
The 4-star review is based solely on the “feel” of the tubes and the apparent lack of dense padding encapsulating the tubes.
Without the courteous, responsive customer service, I would have been inclined to give a 3-star review solely based on the density/firmness/tube concealment of the internal padding. It is barely worthy of a 4-star review.
All-in-all, it is a welcomed addition to greatly improve the comfort of this guy’s slumber experience. I can quite easily recommend this item to anyone seeking safe, warming experiences during slumber!
