I took a chance on this unusual neck pillow for travelling, and although it’s a little awkward to carry, it does support my neck on the plane as I can manipulate the pillow any way I want. Also, there is a snap so I can hang it on my luggage as I wheel it across the airport. This is a great pillow!

This was the best airplane pillow I’ve ever used. It’s exactly as described in that it’s malleable but retains its shape well. I really liked the added neck/head support the bendable wire provides, how soft the cover is, and the fact that it’s washable. If using this to support your head by having it run parallel to your face, it’s better to have it rest against something else, like the plane wall, for additional support since heads are heavy. I.e., the bendable wire doesn’t retain its shape with that much weight.

This looked like a fantastic travel pillow, but ultimately, I returned it.
First, it’s bigger than the traditional travel neck pillows. It didn’t squish down much to fit in a backpack or suitcase. It’s something you would have to carry on, and depending on your airlines they might count it against their limit.
Second, I wanted to use this for a makeshift tailbone pillow. Initially, the articulated “spine” feature seemed like a great idea to create a donut pillow. But after sitting on it for 10-20 minutes, I started to feel that “spine” through the cushion. It probably isn’t a problem for use around your neck or shoulders, but with a lot of body weight, it just wasn’t comfortable.
The fabric was soft and it performed as advertised by holding bent positions, it just didn’t work for what I needed it for.
If you travel a lot and want something for your neck or shoulders, I think this is a great option for better support with comfort.

The Bendy Roll Pillow is absolutely amazing! What impressed me the most is its versatility. It can be shaped in multiple ways to provide support exactly where I need it, whether it’s for my neck, back, or legs. The foam is dense and firm enough to hold its shape, yet soft enough to be comfortable for long periods of use.
The fabric is also a big plus—super soft and pleasant to the touch. The pillow is lightweight and easy to carry, making it perfect for travel as well.
I mainly use mine on the couch for support while watching TV or reading, and I also take it to bed for extra comfort. Since I started using it, I’ve noticed a big improvement in overall comfort and less back pain.
If you’re looking for a multipurpose pillow that adapts to your needs, the Bendy Roll Pillow is an excellent choice. Highly recommended!

It’s a good idea to have a chair with a headrest. Until then though, an alternative is to tie up a ObusForme Highback Backrest Support to the back of a chair with a ratcheting strap. Then position a Dot&Dot Twist Memory Foam Travel Pillow behind your neck.

I really like the concept of an adjustable neck pillow and it seems to move as indicated in the description. The cover is a very soft jersey material and the memory foam seems to be good quality. However, it weighs over the 1 lb. advertised and I was not able to compress it enough to fit into my carry-on. If you are checking luggage and this pillow could be your personal item, it is probably a great choice for long flights. Since I try to travel with only my carry-on, it’s not for me.
