I used this blanket last night and woke up sweaty three times until I decided I’ve had enough!!! Then got my thin 100% bamboo blanket and slept through the next 4 hours sweat free! How is this non-breathable fabric supposed to be cooling?? If you touch it it’s cool BUT THIS BLANKET TRAPS HEAT not diffuses heat. I’m disappointed on many fronts, first of all, I have to work all day today in a few hours of miserable sleep due to sweating all night under this thing, and more over it is cool to the touch, is very soft and light weight, and the color is great. But the fabric is like a wind breaker jacket. That doesn’t breath, therefore your body temp shoot’s up as you sleep be cause it’s almost like the body is suffocating under this thing. ID LOVE TO SPEAK TO REST, and see if mine is faulty or what we should do about this premium product?
Do not buy it if your a hot sleeper, it will make you at least two times hotter. I sweat three times last night —usually just once but man, miserable. BTW, I am – 57 year old male 6” tall and a slim 165. Not overweight at all and shouldn’t be constantly sweating when I sleep. Not under the right blanket. They should call this company REST-LESS SLEEP

This is the best comforter for summer. If you are one who needs to cover up while sleeping during those hot summer nights (you know, because the boogie man might get you 😬). This blanket keeps you cool and covered!! We loved it so much we bought one for each of our boys. The quality is amazing! The comforter fits a king size bed without coming up short on the sides. It washes well and wears even better. It is super comfortable and looks wonderful in our space!! Great purchase!

I’ve been a hot sleeper for ages and for some reason have used a standard comforter and duvet cover until I recently got this lightweight blanket. It is in fact lightweight and does in fact keep me cool. Sleeping with this is the first time I can remember in recent memory that I’ve woken up without sweats. It’s also very very soft with that microfiber suede kind of feel. I’ll certainly keep this as my primary comforter and probably layer on top of it for colder months rather than replace with a warmer blanket.
That said, it’s not perfect. For one, the cost feels very high. There are other products on the market for a third of the cost. I’m not sure the quality difference, but I can’t imagine it’s 3x. Another is that it’s so cooling that it’s little better than just sleeping under your sheets. I was actually cold going to sleep so it doesn’t necessarily find that sweet spot of comfort without overheating. Finally it doesn’t provide the same weight I’m used to with a normal comforter. I’ve never tried a weighted blanket, but now I think I understand why they work given this is so much lighter than what I’m used to. It was hard to fall asleep the first night and I think that’s because I was used to the weight of a normal comforter.
I’ll continue to use this as my primary blanket and am not unhappy I bought it as it has been nice to finally not sweat all night, but if I were to do it again, I’d probably do a bit more research and look at competitors before I made the purchase.
Update: I’ve adjusted the temperature in my room to account for the cooler sleep and have it dialed in now. It actually helps save on AC bill in the summer so by that logic, “this literally pays for itself”. Despite the great sleep though, I still think this is priced higher than it should be so am keeping it at 4 stars. If you have the money though, you probably wont be disappointed.

I would definitely recommend this blanket: It’s amazingly soft and cozy and I just love the feel of it. It’s not havy,but not too thin: it’s perfect and keeps me cool. If you have to contact a customer service you won’t be disappointed: they stand by the quality of their product. I will be definitely buying from them again. I tried “Mom’s cozy” brand before, but got disappointed with their quality( after 3 months of use lots of stiches got undone), so I decided to try REST brand. I am glad I did. I am willing to pay extra if it means quality and will last longer. Love the color and how smooth it looks. Thank you 😊

The is an amazing addition for the summer. Very comfy, has some weight to it while still feeling cool. The only thing that is annoying is it is slippery, so it can slip off your bed rather easily!

I’ve been using the Rest Evercool Cooling Comforter as my primary bed spread for over a month and it’s simply awesome. Super soft. I’ve actually been fearful that my toenails or calluses could slice it, but thankfully it seems to resist snags. Noticeably cooler than any blanket I’ve ever used in my life. True it won’t stay cool, as it will eventually match your body heat but I’ve certainly slept cooler since getting it. I was waking up sweaty on my new memory foam mattress, but with the Rest that’s not the case anymore.

This is an excellent blanket for hot sleepers. Its does a great job of staying cool. When I used it, I was actually shocked that it actually felt cool to the touch. Other reviews mentioned this though I didn’t really below it till I used it myself. Once you slide into bed with it on, you understand why it’s so pricy.
It stays pretty cool as the material is very breathable. If you like your room cold like I do, it’ll do a good job soaking the coolness of the room. Though it won’t last all night from my experience. So it’d be good to supplement it with AC along with some bed cooling solution if needed (Eight Sleep, Bedjet, etc). I found myself still getting hot in the middle of the night even with my AC blasting (room temp of 67, without using my bed cooling solution (Eight Sleep). I was looking to see if I could replace my Eight Sleep with this but it’s still needed.
I was concerned whether it’d be too light. Thankfully it’s not too light. I have central AC so it’s very easy for me to control the temperature of my apartment. Although, I wanted an all season blanket and this is definitely it.
It’s definitely worth the cost. I’m surprised a blanket that stays this cool, is even possible. Would highly recommend!
