I purchased the Sound Oasis Deluxe Bluetooth Sleep Tinnitus Sound Machine based on the description that it was the “World’s Best White Noise Machine”. I suffer from Tinnitus and it can be quite distracting when trying to sleep. I works for me while not disturbing my wife. The product has 48 different sounds ranging from nature sounds to various white noise blended and discrete frequencies. I use a nature sound with blended white noise at low volume. The overall tone can be further modified using the base and treble controls to further customize the sounds. Another feature worth using is the Bluetooth function that connects smartphones and tablets directly to the product to stream music or specific tinnitus masking sounds or therapies to the product to enhance its benefits. The AM/FM radio also works well with decent signal sensitivity. When playing music, the product sounds good as long as the volume is not too loud. The product will replace a full featured bedside alarm so bedside table real estate stays more or less the same.
Upon receiving the product, all of the features worked perfectly except for the Radio function. I contacted Sound Oasis via email on the same day. I received a response within an hour. They provided some issue verification and troubleshooting information to try. After a bit of back and forth via email they determined that a component was not functioning. (All of my feedback was responded to within ½ hour and occurred after business hours.)
Sound Oasis then immediately issued a replacement for my product via second day FedEx. My replacement product works perfectly.
Sound Oasis is a very good company with excellent customer support and I recommend them to anyone looking for a sound machine.
Thanks to Seven and Troy for their help.

Great product that is of high quality and many sound settings plus other features. Recommend!

I really like everything about this and I’d give it an 5-Star review except for the horribly underwhelming Bluetooth speaker. The sound quality is such that I’d just as soon just use my iPhone’s speaker.
Save your money and don’t pay the extra for this one if you’re looking something that includes a Bluetooth speaker.

I was a little skeptical when I purchased this product, but I was desperate couldn’t sleep at night because of noisy, rude neighbors using their white noise set very loud. I forgot when I was a kid I would drop off to sleep immediately at the sound of the crickets well guess what I’m doing again sleep like a baby to the sound of the crickets sound oasis I have the app and this device and I can control it through my phone, which is really nice. I hope they have more. There’s 288 with the device but on the phone there are as many, but still it’s fantastic. Having trouble sleeping at night.

This machine claims to provide better sound than the models with smaller speakers but I can’t tell the difference. I kept it because it has the advantage of being a nice looking clock, but after a few months it’s nearly 20 minutes fast! A $20 Casio digital keeps better time and doesn’t come with a box of styrofoam packaging.

The machine seems to work well but the volume doesn’t go low enough if you wan’t it super quiet. It needs better taper on the volume control. It has the ability to mix like 5 sounds with any of the other like 40 sounds on the machine. Why not make it so u can mix many more than just the 5. I like to listen to a quiet cove type sound with wind and waves. One of the 5 sounds I can mix is like a distant thunder with it. You can control the volume of that thunder mixed in, but its not loud enough when it’s fully turned up to the main sound you are listening too. It’s well thought out but I think it needs work is all.

My Sound Oasis Deluxe Sound Machine is advertised to be of use for tinnitis. I do not have tinnitis and have no idea if it can help with that too common malady. I wanted a new alarm clock with a legible display, lots of quality sounds and a timer to help me wind down, a solid footprint so it wouldn’t wander across the table, real buttons and a knob I didn’t have to struggle to find. This is it.
It has decently sized speakers, physical controls one can actually use, a great dimmable yellow/orange display with large 1″ highly legible black numerals, and a wide selection of relaxing natural and a few machine sounds to set to fall asleep or wake up to. One can also set the alarm to use these sounds or a tone or the radio.
Everything is fairly easy to set up with the very accessible large buttons and knob on the device. The legends on the plastic silver tone buttons lack contrast so the first several times I needed to get my face pretty close.
The Sound Oasis device is bulky for other than bedside table use, largely due to the third speaker, a large speaker for bass.
The fidelity of the sounds one can select is very good for this type of device, in part due to the nicely sized speakers. I feel that greatly helps with the fidelity of the sounds when trying to fall asleep.
I tested the FM radio and the sound was adequate. When I streamed music from my phone to the device via Bluetooth, the sound was again very good.
The downloadable smartphone app seems to perform two functions. One, it allows you to update firmware on the “Sound Machine” clock. Mine was already up to date. Secondly, it plays many sounds independently from the Sound Machine device. This makes the app a good backup if one is travelling or napping/sleeping elsewhere, like on the job. More importantly, the Sound Machine doesn’t need the app and a smartphone. The app seems to just be a nice extra.
This Oasis Sound Machine meets every requirement I had and throws in numerous additional features.
It is an expensive solution but is a more intelligently engineered solution to sleeping (and waking!) than other options.

Still learning how to use all of the options but once learned the controls are easy to access and to identify in the dark, even in the dark.
A key reason for selecting unit was for its tinnitus therapy functions. Time will tell whether this funtion works or not. But immediately the sounds provided are very soothing an$ easy to fall asleep to. Programmed automatic volume reduction and shut down lets you set it and forget it.
