I really like this Kipcush sound machine. It’s reasonably compact in my opinion but it has a good amount of features for it’s size and I really like the layout of the controls. There is a dedicated button for pretty much every feature so there’s not much need for instructions, I can just look at the panel and know how to operate almost everything. It has a good amount of sounds to choose from but you just have to toggle through all the tracks, there’s no categories to choose from. There is an option to set two sounds as favorites which is a nice feature to save time if there are two tracks you use regularly, which I do.

I actually like that this is a corded sound machine rather than rechargeable. For nightly use I don’t have to worry about keeping it charged up, I can just turn it on when I go to bed and shut it off when I wake up. The night light feature is not something that use I every night but I find it’s handy to have on occasion. I think it’s a great feature for use in a child’s room where they might need both a night light and sound machine every night. Being dimmable is a great feature as well. I consider this sound machine to be a great value, especially considering all the features that are included.

This Kipcush White Noise Machine is so wonderful!!! I love it!! I appreciate the white noise machines that have rechargeable batteries, they are great for power outages- but if you are going to use a white noise machine every night you want one like this- one that has to be plugged in to work. This Kipcush one has a great range of sounds. I think the sound quality is great. What is a highlight to me about this Kipcush white noise machine is the nightlight they have added to this version! It is fabulous!!! You just tap the sun icon in the center of the machine to turn it on. That is the perfect location for that control, so that in the middle of the night if you need to turn on the light, you know right wear to push it!!! To change the brightness though (and it will roll through dim, medium and bright) you have to press a separate icon control in roughly the 2’oclock position (if the power button is at the bottom 6 o’clock position close to you- don’t worry this all makes sense when you are looking at it!! It is not complex.) I love the range of ambient sounds. Some of them are funny, like the seagulls, it sounds like way too many birds, it is a little unsettling. The babbling brook combined with the chirping birds is really pleasant. I like how they combine their birds with other ambient setting noise, like the waves, or the brook, or a light rain. Fun to listen to. I really got this for the white noises though, and those too they have given a nice range to select from. It is always nice to have options with white noises so you can select the tone that feels most natural for you to fall to sleep to. It has two “memory” settings that you can select your two favorite noises to be remembered with, so you don’t have to scroll through every time to find them. I think that is great. Just an all-around great little machine. Easy to understand, easy to use, and has all the options I want it to have with the white noises, the ambient noises and the nightlight .

It’s got 20 sounds—yeah, TWENTY. I didn’t even know there were 20 different sleep sounds, but apparently there are, and I’m not mad about it. My favorites? The classic white noise (obviously), a gentle rainstorm, and this super relaxing ocean waves one. It’s like choosing my own little escape every night. There’s even a “favorites” button so I can quickly find the sounds I love without scrolling through the whole sound catalog, which is a nice touch. One thing I love is that it’s small and portable. I was half-expecting it to be this bulky thing that would take up all the space on my nightstand, but nope—it’s tiny enough to fit in my hand, and I can toss it into my bag when I’m traveling without feeling like I’m packing a brick. Whether I’m using it at home or in a hotel room, it’s so easy to bring along, which is great because once you get used to sleeping with it, you’re not going to want to go without it. The night light feature was an unexpected bonus. I didn’t think I’d use it much, but it’s actually pretty handy. It’s just the right amount of soft light for winding down in the evening. It’s not too bright to keep me awake, but enough that I’m not tripping over things in the dark if I need to get up in the middle of the night. I also love the timer feature. I set it for about an hour before I drift off, and then it shuts off automatically, so I don’t have to worry about it running all night. I can set it for longer if I want, but I usually knock out pretty fast thanks to this thing. What really seals the deal for me is how much more relaxed I feel. I’ve noticed that since using it, I fall asleep faster and wake up feeling more refreshed, which wasn’t always the case before. It’s like my brain knows that once the white noise kicks in, it’s time to chill. Plus, it’s helped me block out all those little distractions that would normally pull me out of sleep, like street noise or the occasional snoring from the other room.

The Kipcush Sound Machine & Night Light is small enough to enough to fit into your hand and easily portable for traveling. The night light with brightness control is a useful feature, as is the timer. It has an abundance of sleep sounds, and two buttons for your favorite sounds. Power is provided by the included USB cable, or a generic power adapter with a 5V output.
